I stayed here with my son for 3 nights. Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Located just outside the center of London - not far away from the Tower Hill. The room and bathroom were both spacious and clean. The room had a nice view to the inside garden. No disadvantages? Not really. Just one: You can hear noisy neighbors.

We stayed here for one night after a meeting with some friends. What a fantastic place. The room we had overlooked a peaceful garden and was clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was excellent and the staff are lovely. There is a very comfortable lounge, with drinks available. Will definitely stay again. The Chapel in the grounds is worth a visit.

We stayed when seeing pink at the O2 and we were very impressed; the dlr is less than 5 mins walk; straight to canning town then jubilee line to O2 in 20 mins or so was brilliant. Amazing concert finished about 10:45 and we were back in the room for 11:15! It's very quiet, clean and just lovely considering you're... More

This is a really lovely place to stay ..... truely a place in the country yet in the middle of east London. I stayed there the night before my London Marathon stagger. It is exactly what I was looking for ... quiet and calm .... surprisingly ('cos I was excited about the race the following day) I got a good... More

I heartily endorse this place for people looking for safe, clean and peaceful accommodation on a visit to London. It is very close to City Center; the transition from Underground to Light Rail is very easy. The Limehouse stop is around the corner with signposts to indicate which way to walk. Breakfast is fresh and healthy. Staff is absolutely wonderful.... More

Just a few moments away from Limehouse DLR and you will find the RFSK. You can be in Central London in around 15 minutes- essential as the local area is not geared towards tourists. Although this is a religious retreat, there is no obligation on you to participate in anything remotely holy! Rooms are clean and spacious- the flats have... More

Stayed here on a Tuesday night as a convenient overnight stay when I knew I'd be working late in my Canary Wharf office and did not fancy the 2.5 hr commute home. Its easy to access - right next to the DLR, peaceful and the breakfast was very good. I was lucky enough to have a large room with an... More

Very peaceful & clean. Good location, next to train station, close to Thames & lovely old pubs next to river. Good shower.Only criticism was not enough toilet roll in room, ran out on 2nd morning of stay. No tv but that could be a plus as makes the stay more relaxing. Bathroom had metal plug that was impossible to get... More

I stay here frequently on business trips to London - simple rooms, nice people, straightforward buffet breakfast, good free wifi. And if you pay a little bit extra for a "garden room" overlooking the grassy courtyard, the rooms are particularly quiet which is a bonus for London. Fast DLR service to Central London.

Excellent value- and that's hard to find as a solo traveller. Nice not to have to pay for the extras you don't need or want on a short stay: no TV, no double bed, no toiletries I won't use! But the Fairtrade tea, coffee and biscuit was a very welcome bonus :) Will definitely stay again.
