The value for money is outstanding. Small but perfectly formed rooms, overlooking the garden. Given the location and that we needed to keep the windows open it was so hot - the noise wasn't too bad (London noise)…. Breakfast simple and fresh. Lovely calm atmosphere. A treat.

I booked this after reading the reviews and it is absolutely amazing. The rooms were perfectly clean and well maintained and the free wifi works well. The staff are lovely. The gardens are gorgeous. The whole place is so quiet and calm. Breakfast was superb. It's 'only' continental but the best continental breakfast I have ever seen. Rolls, croissants etc... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for or daughters graduation, the room had everything we needed and for us it was nice not to have a TV. It was one of the hottest nights however we had come prepared and brought our own fan and was supplied one by the establishment. The room was spotless and plenty of hot water in... More

We chose to stay at the Royal Foundation as it provided a very convenient location for an event at St Katharine Docks. Comfortable room overlooking the garden and a good buffet breakfast that set us up for the day. Would certainly stay again if needing a city location.

We booked late and got a great deal on a Superior Double only £105. This included free WiFi which worked really well. Rooms facing the garden on the ground floor are the least noisy. So you get what you pay for. Not suitable for country dwellers who are not used to any noise. The bed was ultra comfortable and connection... More

I stayed here for 1 night recently whilst attending a concert at the O2. I was impressed with every aspect of St Katherine’s and would highly recommend it when staying in London. Limehouse station is only a 2 min walk away, making St Katherine’s very accessible to all the major attractions of London. A big bonus for me (and the... More

Train trail 30 Meters away, 4 lane street next to the area. You hear the noise day and night, also at the weekend. Roof rooms are very hot in summer. You have to open the windows to cool it down a bit and then its more noisy. Shower was very small and the construction which is holding the shower hose... More

After a suggestion was made by our son we chose to spend 3 nights at St Katherine's. Now back at home we feel the location was excellent and we were made most welcome during our stay.
