The receptionists behave very well. They help a lot with bags and giving direction. They serve drinks until 11 so we can gather with friends and enjoy time. The rooms are clean and they change the sheets. The breakfast is big but they get money for it. The location is far from shops and undergrounds.

Good beds - mattresses, pillows and sheets. There is also very friendly and helpful staff. They are always willing to answer peoples questions. In the morning there is a cheap breakfast (£1.5 for all you can eat toast, cereal and drink).

Very good for the price. As anyone who's visited London will know, cheap accommodation is virtually impossible to come by in this city. So I was delighted when I found the Queen Elizabeth online, and booked immediately. Check-in was fairly easy, with staff helping us out, and pointing out lockers we could use for secure storage of goods. Rooms were... More

I've stayed in quite a few hostels in London, and this was easily one of the most enjoyable. The staff did their best to make you feel welcome, and socialised with you even on their days off. The pub downstairs has a great atmosphere, with the locals creating a great vibe. Beds and rooms are comfy, facilities are clean and... More

I love this place. It's perfect. Excellent location with multiple nearby transport options. Good pillows which so many hostels fail at. They put on a generous breakfast spread for 1.50 and the microwave is very handy for heating ready meals from the nearby sainsburys.

I stayed there around June 1st 2015. The place was nice, but the staff were really great. Especially the South African guy who worked daytime and the Irish (?) guy who worked night really helped me out a lot and improved my visit in London. Also really great idea to mix tourists and locals in a hostel/pub. Cheers guys.

My friend and I just stayed in this hostel in London about a week ago while on our month long Europe trip! It was pretty much the cheapest we could find but just kind of an ehhhh hostel. It was the first hostel I've ever stayed in so I didn't have too much expectations. It is pretty far out from... More

I believe that a new paint would do wonders. Remove the smelly carpet and get wood floor everywhere. The rooms already have it, so it's not a big investment. Remodel or CLEAN the bathrooms, but really clean them, because they were truly dirty and broken. On the good side I had never been to a hostel in a pub and... More
