This is our rendition of a lovely hotel in grand fashion. Often our trips to UK include city and country. We usually check in here for a couple of nights to get or footing, then hit the country for a week of Express Rail out in the country, then back to the hotel for another week of sightseeing by day... Stayed here for two nights as we were attending the Royal Garden Party. First impressions very good, and you are able to access the hotel from the mainline Victoria Station Concourse. Lobby very impressive and reception was quick and efficient. Room was a standard twin room, the bedroom was quite big with IPod docking station and LCD Television, a mini... More

Room was very dusty. Bed sheets were ripped and there were stains and muck on bed. Staff were very friendly, very quickly sorted. Not fully equipped, tea, coffee. Had to request towels. Shower leaked and flooded bathroom floor Chair leg was broken, so no way to sit at desk Room view was roof tops. Croissants were over microwaved, so tough... More

This hotel has beautiful public areas. The location is great being close to Victoria Train Station and the subway. Americans will find the rooms to be small. Don't expect great views from you room. The bath tub is very high, as is the case in many Europen hotels, and presents a serious hazard getting in and out of for those... More

Perfect location for a short tip to London. If you fly into Gatwick the Gatwick express train will bring you to Victoria Station in 30 mins (£40 return) and this hotel in IN THE TRAIN STATION ! Its recently refurbished so quite plush and very clean. Rooms are not huge, but fine, with minibar, LCD TV, Ipod docking etc. Staff... More

We stayed as part of a tour group. Our room was unbearably hot both nights that we were there. They came to the room twice to try to fix it but could not. The gentleman who came to the room indicated that it was a known issue with certain rooms. The decor at the hotel is lovely and the staff... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location, access to Victoria Station main line and underground services are very useful which is why we made a second visit . On both occasions we have had trouble with the room booking. The executive room on our first visit contained a third bed. Our requests to remove it were ignored so we rolled... More

Just back from a one night stay at the Gosvenor celebrating wedding anniversary. We stayed in an Executive room which was large and comfortable. The champagne bar was a great relaxing place and dinner in the evening was excellant. All the staff were really polite and helpful. Would certainly recommend and have promised our teenage kids a trip to London... More

First impression is a large lobby area with fresh flowers and a beautiful chandelier, reception a bit slow but ok. We had an executive room and it was superb well worth the extra and executive lounge so no waiting for breakfast. The grand imperial restaurant is THE best Chinese I have ever tasted, tried it a few times and not... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel when we went to watch Billy Elliott. Well what can I say - we couldn't have picked a more perfect hotel. The theatres around the Victoria area were within a few minutes walk as well as plenty of restaurants and bars and Victoria tube station is adjacent to the hotel (although you... More
