I booked this hotel for a long weekend away with my girlfriend over easter with the intention of proposing to her on the Sunday evening. Planning ahead I contacted the hotel and arranged for a bottle of Champagne on ice to be delivered to the Hotel whilst we were out on the Sunday evening. I was then contacted by Jackie... More

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. Location was excellent. Adjacent to Victoria station, even had a back door having a direct access to the station. Bus stop right in front of the hotel, many busses passing through for most of the attractions and the tube was less than a minute away. Buckingham Palace was in a walking distance.... More

My husband and I stayed a few nights at this lovely hotel in March. It was the first leg of a 15 day journey through Europe, also touching in Paris and Rome. The hotel is very centrally located and close to most of the city’s attractions. My husband booked an executive room to celebrate our 10th anniversary and we really... More

Stayed here recently on business for the first time, booked for convenience of the location for Westminster. Very impressed by the courtesy, professionalism and warmth of all the staff who could not have been more helpful. The historic building has been very thoughtfully renovated, retaining plenty of character, and the public areas are elegant and impressive. I got a very... More

The hotel is perfectly located to explore London. Within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, parliament, famous parks and Trafalgar Square. Back entrance of hotel opens on to Victoria station, 30 minutes by train to Gatwick airport, tube station, lots of shops, cafe and eating places. Walk through the station and across the road and you are at the Apollo Theatre... More

Booked the hotel just because of its location close to Victoria station however it was far more than just a good location. I would compare the service levels to the Peninsular HK that's how good this hotel is. Our Suite was large and luxurious and the addition of the Executive Club is worthwhile. Great hotel that definitely 5 stars and... More

We stayed here one Saturday night in April as part of a large group. The accommodation was ok but nothing special for the price we paid. The breakfast on Sunday morning was a a complete shambles. There was an enormous queue to even gain access to the restaurant at 9am.Now I know that this is likely to be a popular time at weekends... We stayed at this hotel and found the staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. The bedroom was well appointed and although our room looked out over the bus interchange at Victoria Station, the double glazing ensured a peaceful night and the bed was very comfortable. We ate in the hotel's Grand Imperial Restaurant. Although this is a Chinese restaurant there... More

We have stayed many times at this hotel and have seen it through some bad times but we keep coming back and post refurbishment it just keeps getting better and better. The best thing about this hotel is it's location, particularly if, like us, you are approaching the capital from Gatwick. The grand design of the lobby and stairways is... More

Stayed here one night on business in March. Hotel is in a great location and the foyer is really impressive. Room was fine until I wandered into the bathroom to get ready for bed and found a clump of still wet hair in the plughole, plus a few hairs also around the bath. Phoned and spoke to reception who offered... More
