A big thanks for reception staff as they went and extra mile advising me of places to visit and see :) ! My husband & I stayed here this weekend for my 40th birthday & everything about this hotel was great. The room was perfect, breakfast was filled with lots of choice & the hotel itself is really lovely, some great original features in the hotel. Location is perfect, very close to Victoria tube line. We would definitely stay here again &... More

A gamble on rooms in this hotel, most rooms I'm sure are gorgeous (ours was) but a colleague of mine who were with us, their room allocation wasn't great, just check what they have given you before getting to the room. A great breakfast and a great location!

Excellent location - just a short stroll from Hyde Park and changing of the guard at the Palace. In a beautiful area of the city. I really only used the hotel as a base for getting around so I cannot comment on the food but the facilities, rooms, staff service were all to a very high standard when I visited.... More

Had a one night stay here late last year for business, very efficient check in, good sized bed, ample room to swing a cat, long walk to room 155 but proved to be good exercise, although very expensive it is worth it, fortunately my company paid ha ha! Thanks to all for a pleasant stay, staff were lovely.

We stayed at the Grosvenor Hotel on a Saturday night as we had a trip booked on the British Pullman the next day which went from Victoria Station. The location couldn't have been better as you can enter directly onto the station concourse from the hotel. Our check in went very efficiently and smoothly and we were allocated our room... More

It was our visit to London. When we started planning this trip the main concern was, where we were going to stay and is not extremely expensive, centrally located and safe. My husband found the Grosvenor hotel in trip advisor. We stayed the first week of February. The location of the hotel is excellent, coming from the airport, the underground... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
