stayed there for three nights during our stay in London for our honeymoon. The staff was amazing and took care of our every need very quickly and they also upgreated our room, which was very lovely. Having Wifi in the room/hotel was a blessing, and the clossness to Victoria station was very very helpful. Also would like to point out... More

Stayed here several times when in our London office. Only reason is location near our offices. Rooms very small. Very small bathroom. Bad heating system. Noisy corridors, bad breakfast. Most rooms overlook the roof of Victoria station or the Bus terminal. Receiption service slow. Only the bar is ok. Will go elsewhere next time.

This is my favorite hotel in London. It is so convenient as I always come to London from Geneva so I can take the train directly from Gatwick airport to Victoria station. The room is nice and the breakfast is always very good. All staffs are very helpful and friendly. It is right at the heart of London and close... More

We had booked an executive room using points from our Ritz Carlton card. Unfortunately, when we arrived our room wasn’t ready for us. Guest relations spent close to an hour trying to find us a room that matched our reservation. When it became apparent that one was not available we were offered an upgrade to a newly refurbished suite overlooking... More

Stayed here 2 years ago in January and back again this time. Had a good vacation special with BA and the price was right so back to the Grosvenor. It's a beautiful old hotel that brings back the olden days of London. The lobby is spectacular....along with the main staircase and side staircases going up 6 floors. I stayed in... More

We have just come back from a weekend in this hotel (Jan 2015). We chose The Grosvenor largely for nostalgia reasons as we'd stayed in 1993 and wanted to go back to see how it had changed and also for the location. This hotel didn't fail to impress us. The building itself is beautiful, there are a lot of original... More

Impressed with the reception staff at check-in who appeared knowledgeable. When we got to the room we could clearly hear the platform announcements and were disappointed this had not been mentioned at check-in. We asked to move and were offered an Executive room for an additional £40. We decided to treat ourselves and moved to a nice room on the... More

We had tickets for the Victoria Palace theatre; and travelling into Victoria Station this was a most convenient choice of hotel. We had a quick cocktail in the Restaurant befor check in and then a seedless check in followed. Our room was clean had all the features needed for an overnight stay. We had a very good deal and so... We took the Eurostar from Paris to London, then the underground from Pancras Station to Victoria Station and we stayed overnight in the Grosvenor Hotel. It was so convenient. In the morning as we stepped out of the Grosvenor Hotel onto Victoria Station where the train that would take us to Gatwick airport was almost at their door - a... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
