I spent 3 nights here in July 2015. The location can't be beat, it is attached to the Victoria station tube. Service The service here was just okay with the check in staff, they did their job and nothing more. However, the concierge staff went far and beyond making my stay enjoyable and seamless. In particular, Jamal one of the... More

Very friendly staff greeted us upon arrival, and we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is in a great location, with an entrance connected to Victoria station - meaning easy access to the underground. You can leave your luggage at the hotel without having to pay, which is a big bonus, especially once you've booked out but you're not... I stay here a few times a year for business and the service is always friendly. The only downfall this time was that I arrived early and my room was not ready for an early check in so I waited several hours, and the executive lounge isn't that special. They need to upgrade it. Rooms are clean and comfortable and... More

The Grovesnor Hotel is in an excellent position. Communications, bus rail taxi are very handy. If you like walking then Harrods, Hyde Park, Buckingham Place are all easily done. The hotel itself is very pleasant and the staff superb. Our room was large and comfortable. No view though; it overlooked the railway station roof. But what are you in your... More

First, I thought I was booking the Grosvenor House Hotel and upon realizing my mistake was worried about this hotel. Thankfully, no concern was necessary. The room was spacious and well appointed. The white marble bathroom had heated floors and a heated towel rack. The white tablecloth Cantonese restaurant in the hotel was very elegant and absolutely top of the... More

If I'm ever in this end of London with work I always try and stay at this hotel. The rooms are very good with great touches that make a difference such as Bose Bluetooth Music systems as well as great bathrooms. Food is better than most hotels I stay in and the staff always friendly in a very busy hotel.

The Grosvenor is gorgeous and the rooms are quite spacious by European standards. We were on the 6th floor in rooms 601 and 613 and heard no train noise. The bathrooms are large with showers that, unfortunately, need instruction manuals. (You have to "know" to press in the buttons to get hot water or be satisfied with a tepid shower.)... More

We arrived mid evening & the hotel porter immediately took our cases into the hotel off the busy street, we then checked in with no problems our cases were taken straight to our room. All staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right next to Victoria station ( not that you would notice in your room ) you are... More

Pleasantly surprised. Arrived to check in bags were picked up and sent to room. This is a lovely hotel that is connected to Victoria Train Station. So easy to travel to and from. Also with in walking distance of lots of tourist attractions (or the subways and buses). The concierge was also very helpful with directions. We were in room... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
