+ check in experience was good, the Italian lady checking us in was really professional. + although in general I prefer modern looking hotels, I found this one nice, clean, and room was spacious + beds were comfy + hotel is close to Victoria station - but a bit of a walk to the main attractions in the city. +... The only disappointing thing with this hotel is the mess at the check in desks. We had to wait quite a while to do this which is a shame as it sets the time for the holiday. Stayed two nights and the rooms were amazing, super comfy and clean. £30 for a glass of champagne and a beer was a... More

My sister and I stayed at The Grosvenor for 8 nights in August. Check in was seamless, and throughout our stay, the room was cleaned efficiently. We had absolutely no issues at all. The location was ideal for our stay, right on the doorstep of Victoria train station. There is an entrance direct into the station which was fantastic. The... More

Always wanted to stay in this historic hotel and took the chance with a last minute booking. Was a great experience. Room was a little small, but good for london, everything worked and was well fitted and maintained and had a great nights sleep. They also had a good gym and the best location for victoria station or the british... More

Best hotel experience on our 9 week world trip. We stayed here twice as we went through London (total of 7 nights). The first time we were in a executive room which was a little small but had the most amazing bathroom. The second time we upgraded to a suite which gave us the room we desired. Both stays were... This hotel has great potential and a lot going for it - mainly decor and location. The food in the Brasserie Restaurant was adequate but the staff were very poor. They didn't seem to have the basic skills required to be waiters. They tried to give us our starter and main meal at the same time and when we requested... More

We stayed 4 nights in a standard room. Hotel was newly redone and clean with a friendly staff. Victoria train station was just beneath us and very convienet for hoping the Tube to anywhere in London and the HOHO bus stopped just outside. Included breakfast was buffet and very complete with nothing overlooked from fruit to pasteries. Only hitch was... More

We stayed for one night on a visit to see Buckingham Palace and a theatre trip to see Wicked. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and handy for lots of attractions. Staff were friendly and polite. Handy for rail links and bus station Would definitely go back as it is very reasonably priced. Ideal if you are going for... More

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your five star post. The Grosvenor really does offer a handy location here in Victoria. With travel links and many attractions on our doorstep plus the Victoria Palace and Apollo theatres just over the road we are an ideal choice. We hope to welcome you back soon. Kind regards, Ian More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
