This hotel is in need of some tlc, some of the corridors and bedroom doors have been refurbished but most were like something out of The Shining and caught in the seventies! All the staff were miserable and unapproachable and I found it hard to understand them as they were not british workers. Not what I was expecting from a... More

This was a basic hotel but all the amenties worked well. Nice touch to have an evening meal thrown in for free. The noise levels were very low, despite it's central location. Would have liked shower gel and shampoo but instead there were just bars of soap, two bath towels and two hand towels would have been nice.. instead of... More

Everything about this hotel is the worst. Dirty, the carpet was dirty when we went and it was still with the same bed cramps when we left a dirty all sock was under the bed cover in dust. The bathroom was never clean. One day we came back and the window that we didnt close as it was very cold,... More

My family and I spent 2 nights at this hotel and on the plus side, check in was effortless, rooms very clean and quiet on the 7th floor. It's a perfectly situated central hotel for exploring London which has easy access to the tube, Euston Street Station and within walking distance to the Russell Square tube....While the breakfast is included... Just got back from a 2 nights stay at this hotel and on the plus side, check-in was OK, room very clean and quiet (on the 7th Floor) and staff polite. On the minus side, the breakfast room resembles a canteen and included in our deal was a full English breakfast which unfortunately was inedible so on the 2nd morning... More

The room was good, clean, well ventilated. But no wifi in rooms and beyond weak wifi signal at the lobby. For that price, I would expect wifi, therefore not good for business, maybe good for students touring, etc. Otherwise, it was just okay. Didn't fancy the breakfast either. I was on the 6th floor so I wasn't exposed to all... More

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
