We recently stayed here because our tour would be departing the next day from the courtyard outside. I knew based on the price it would be basic but there's basic and then there is this hotel. The place is huge so, so many people are around all the time. The rooms have no wifi and no hair dryer, no extra... More

I stayed here with my 2 daughters, we were in London for 3 days and would say that for what we paid for the hotel and train i can't complain at all. The hotel is really big and the corridors are surprisingly long, but once you've got your bearings it's not hard to find a lift close to your room... More

We arrived at this hotel and were able to check in straight away. Arrived at our room which was very clean and tidy. Beds were a little uncomfortable and pillows where like rocks. We went down for our breakfast on our first morning and we had paid for full english within our booking wasn't the best but was ok, continental... More

Remember what you paid before you review!! Rooms are basic but clean. Central location with Russell Square tube station 2minute walk away. Ideal for travelling around London. Breakfast basic but edible. I've stayed her numerous times and would recommend it for groups of friends.

Although it is conveniently located in the heart of London in the famous Russell Square and prices are cheaper than others in the vicinity, this hotel does not worth your money and should be avoided. Rooms are dirty, breakfast is awful and there is no wi-fi available even if you are willing to pay for it.

Overall stay was not bad though for a continental breakfast, we expected at least some ham or cheese not just bread, butter and jam. ROom was ok, but without wifi, it simply lowered its name. wifi was only avaialable in opposite restaurant which was acceptable but the internet available in the hotels restaurant was only free for 30mins and very... Would not recommend anyone to stay here it was filthy, room smelt of smoke, towels and bedding not nice and then it was full of groups of children running along corridor at early hours of the morning we then asked to be moved and that was no better, staff were not bothered at all, more interested in forcing us to... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
