Another honest review warts and all from me - so here we go. It was the first time we had stayed in this particular hotel so did not know what to expect. When we arrived it was a free for all checking in as we were part of a large group and it seemed too much for the reception staff.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room is very small but ok , for the price and location its fine. The breakfast is awful, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The only issue I had with this hotel was that the cleaning lady came into the room without knocking on the door and I was... More

Stayed only one night at this hotel and would return. The staff are all very helpful rooms are basic but clean and comfortable I would recommend you to pay the extra for the full English breakfast. The hotel is only a short walk from kings cross We had an appointment in the afternoon and the hotel allowed us to have... More

I stayed in this hotel as I had an interview in London the day after so wanted somewhere central and comfortable and the hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Orginally I was given a single room overlooking the road but this room had a few holes in the window that let a lot of cold air in, as it was about... More

We stayed at the Royal National Hotel in November 2014. The Royal National is a convenient 20 minutes stroll from Kings Cross station. Check in was quick and easy and we were able to leave our cases for free as we arrived about three hours early. This meant we were able to visit some of London's attractions before returning early... Stayed 1 night. Huge hotel very basic. In need of renovation. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Beds very hard and uncomfortable. Had to ask for hand towels - hotel should spend some money on new towels as the ones we had were very worn. Tea and coffee in room biscuits would have been nice. Dont bothet with breakfast which was... More

We had arrived late at night and on arriving , the people at reception checked us in and explained to us where the brkfast area was ect, the room was alright and quite spacious. The brkfast included cereals, toast and jams, however if u wanted an english brkfast u... More

I caught public transport from Heathrow on my own and stayed here for two nights before departing on a contiki tour. Rooms had two single beds. my roomie had another girl with her topping... More

The hotel was clean and the service was very good. Great location, close to tube and a short walk to the British Museum. Lots of pubs and places to eat close by. Coffee and tea available in the room. I would stay here again.

The room itself is alright except the fact that it is dirty. Both the bed and towels had questionable stains. Breakfast contained of a spongy-feeling toast with even worse tasting jam. Great thing Starbucks and Tesco are nearby. Loud cleaning ladies early in the morning, and one of them even used our toilet, while my friend and I were in... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
