Great little character hotel in the East of London. The welcome was friendly, the room was clean, spacious, decent though compact en-suite and relatively quiet end of Brick Lane. There was a TV with digital channels and as I asked for a traditional Bangladesh breakfast to join in the spirit of the area and hotel, I got flat bread and... More

Quiet. Because this part of the street is quiet. Not because of insulation Good warm shower. The room is Clean I dont like the heater which is an air conditionning split. Not so good for the health. Hosts smiling and doing well the job No charm. But for the price we can not expect more We haven't tried the restaurant

Having read the previous reviews I was worried but I have to say that I would recommend staying here to my nearest and dearest. The location was perfect for my requirements and after the pleasant check in I found that the room itself was good sized, clean and well equipped for my needs. I can't help thinking the previous reviews... More

I stayed at this hotel as I was speaking at a conference and it was booked for me. First point I had to clamber up two flights of very steep stairs, with no help with the luggage until I asked for it. The room was adequate but there was certainly room for improvement. The room lights could only be operated... More

Ive stayed in quite a few cheap B&B/Hotels as myself and my girlfriend often go and see gigs so accommodation needs to only be basic... and that is exactly what this is. The pictures made it looks a little better than how we found it but it was clean with no frills. We paid £89 for a double which is... More

1. Run by Bengali, trash businessmen. They insisted I pay cash, not by card. I had to refuse three times and finally accepted my credit card. 2. Free wifi? It doesn't reach the rooms= no wifi 3. Breakfast included: "Continental breakfast" : "coffee or tea with cornflakes". Ridiculous. No toast, no nothing else. Not until I asked the £10 of... More

Definitely no bed bugs when I stayed here a month ago. Clean room, warm (adjustable heating). Very small bathroom, but all I needed was a clean comfy bed overnight and a shower in the morning. Odd in that because I checked to at 0800, I had to pay the night before, and couldn't have a room key as nobody was... More

I was dubious about this place after reading some of the reviews but my concerns were swiftly eradicated. The room was spotless, modern and way bigger than I thought. (No bedbugs whatsoever!) Plus it has a virtually silent and most welcome air conditioning unit. The real beauty of this hotel is its location. Round the corner from Aldgate East tube... More
