We stayed for 5days and loved the place. It is clean, beautiful and modern well looked after. Close to supermarkets and Farringdon station. I think it deserves 5-star band. No complains at all, and when its raining you get umbrellas. The internet works perfect!!

We stayed at Oakwood Farringdon for my husband's 40th birthday weekend and it was perfect. Whilst, within easy reach of buzzing nightlife, great restaurants and many bars, it was just a 15 mins easy stroll are away from it all again. If you wanted to just stay around the apartment, there's a trendy bar right next door and two supermarkets... More

Scary- If you are staying in a unit with a terrace- be aware that intruders have entered your flat from the sliding glass door. Even if you are INSIDE with the front door locked, the intruder enters late at night through the slider, knowing the layout of your apartment as well as the building's fire exits and unsecured street access... The building is located in a quiet residential enclave yet only a stop or two away from everthing else in the city. There are 2 supermarkets right at the doorstep - can it be more convenient than that? The apartments are bright, modern and clean and there's a day-front desk person who can help with anything you need. The space... More

We a fantastic stay at the Oakwood Farringdon. It is in an excellent location just minutes away from the Farringdon tube/train station with links to the rest of London. There are many choices of restaurants, and taverns within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable, the living area spacious,... The apartments are within 10mins walk of 3 tube stations, giving good access to all areas of the city. There are many great restaurants and bars within 5mins walk in the Smithfield market area. The apartments themselves are of great quality; clean, comfortable, and modern decor. Good facilities, inc all mod cons, free high speed Wifi, and comfortable beds and... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
