By far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The room was a filthy shoe box that looked like something out of a first world war period drama. The curtains were held up with drawing pins and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months, we even found toenail clippings at the side of the bed.We stayed... More

Hotel has attracted some very poor reviews and only looked at them after booking at short notice. Reviews would have put me off despite the cost. Had a twin room with en-suite. Room reasonable size, beds comfortable enough. Generally this hotel is very tired and dated. Staff helpful, no issues. At £60 for bed and breakfast (left too early to... More

The staff(roumanian) is very racist!!!!!!! Please don't go there. They are so aggressive and rude, they hit a friend of mine because he comes to visit me. I have never seen a receptionnist who hit a guest. We had 2 nights there but we changed after one night only because it was terrible. I was so shocked. They refused to... More

On arrival and as soon as I entered the reception area I was greeted with a strong smell of body odour. But that was the least of my concerns, let’s start with the room. Basement room, small dimly lit very poorly decorated, stained carpets and no TV (although advertised as TV in all rooms) Room was uncomfortably warm with no... More

I will just list the problems below for your information; 1. The mattress was cheap and the springs made for a terrible night sleep. There were no mattress covers for easy cleaning or extra comfort. The uncomfortable night on the mattress was easily the worst aspect. 2. The shower threw a powerful single jet of water out and quite a... More

From the moment I walked in and saw the guy at the front desk leaning back in his chair like he was on vacation, and didn't explain a thing to me (breakfast times, check out etc) I knew this was going to be a terrible experience. Breakfast was poor. My room was the size of a shoebox, and the windows... More

It was with some trepidation that my wife and I 'risked' a four night stay at this hotel, given some damning past reviews that were submitted by various contributors. There were of course some more positive ones and, as always, truth ended up lying somewhere in between. The bottom line as far as my wife and I are concerned is... More

Good hotel, excellent location. The room was clean, but the breakfast was very poor - a small selection of everything. The TV didn't work very well. No free wifi. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants on Queensway 2min walk from the hotel.

Nice hotel. I booked the big room, up to six people, which was a very cheap option to spend a nice weekend in London with some friends. Nice hotel. I booked the big room, up to six people, which was a very cheap option to spend a nice weekend in London with some friends.

Hotel is near Hyde park, tube station, shops (tesco express etc), restaurants, oxford street.... Staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast was simple but good. its good for price i... More
