It was with some trepidation that my wife and I 'risked' a four night stay at this hotel, given some damning past reviews that were submitted by various contributors. There were of course some more positive ones and, as always, truth ended up lying somewhere in between. The bottom line as far as my wife and I are concerned is... More

Good hotel, excellent location. The room was clean, but the breakfast was very poor - a small selection of everything. The TV didn't work very well. No free wifi. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants on Queensway 2min walk from the hotel.

Nice hotel. I booked the big room, up to six people, which was a very cheap option to spend a nice weekend in London with some friends. Nice hotel. I booked the big room, up to six people, which was a very cheap option to spend a nice weekend in London with some friends.

very basic hotel, but our first room was ok, quite cleand and comfortablet. But our second room fo 5 guests (we reserved only 2quests) was smelly and messy. Location is excellent. Hotel is near Hyde park, tube station, shops (tesco express etc), restaurants, oxford street.... Staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast was simple but good. its good for price i... More

Perfect location! Close to everything including restaurants, bus stations and train stations. Rooms are small but tidy, clean beds, huge shower with great water pressure! Friendly staff and very helpful - especially Aziz! Will definitely stay again :)

Worst hotel I have ever stayed. Room was dirty, no repairs were made for ages. Power points were dangerous. Service was rude. No response for complains. Only good thing was the hotel location close the Hyde park and tube and bus stops.

Me and my friend paid 160 pounds for a double bedroom , when we arrived some idiot started laughing at us and asked why we were checking in. When the numbskull realised we had paid to stay there he told us that the check in was at 2 o'clock (which we weren't told) so we waited hours before we went... More

Dirty tiny room in a dirty area. Asked for bigger room but could not open window because smell from cigarette buts built up on window sill was unbearable . Area full of bag snatchers and street fights all hours of the night. Recetion paid taxi driver less than half what we gave reception for airport taxi. Not recomended particularly for older... More

I was there in December 2012 and I decided to go back in December 2013 because the location is good and the rates are very competitive. The last time I was there, my stay was a disaster. The room was a former storage room and nothing was working in it. No TV set even if I paid for a room... More

Our room was so tiny we couldn't open the suitcases on the floor. Service was shabby by the guy who manned reception, and this first impression stayed with us the whole time. We had to ask for bath towels which we got, and extra pillows which we didn't get. Breakfast wasn't too bad, although somewhat limiting, and the staff down... More
