Yes this hotel is not the ritz but you dont pay for it! ignore the fussy people and book this hotel it is a clean, good value hotel that is perfect for a city break. The continental breakfast is ok aswell as it fills a hole before you go out! Cant complain i would stay here again definetly.

Stayed at the hotel. Was visiting Earls Court expo centre which is nearby. Hotel room whilst clean, was very hot. the small fan provided in the room didn't really make a difference. Breakfast was not really worth bothering about. Tea/Coffee in room but don't expect Tetley tea. think more fruit infused tea bags. My husband was accosted in the street... More

Stayed with my daughter for 4 nights. We booked a twin room and were upgraded to a triple room - this was nice, because the room was very small. There is not enough space for big luggage pieces - we had to put them on the bed. The bathroom is also small, but served its purpose. Continental breakfast - very... More

First, don't let the name "Lord Jim" give you fanciful imaginings of Conrad's book, nor the front entrance of this hotel make you believe it is a normal hotel. It is not. If you set your expectations to a really nice youth hostel, you are going to be happy. The good first: 1. there will be bed(s) 2. you may... More

My Partner and I stayed here for 5 nights and I must say we had good value for our money. The rooms were a bit small, but adequate and very quiet. The friendly staff more than made up for any inconveniences. They were very helpful in giving us information about where to go and how to get there. The bathroom... More

This is a budget hotel so don't expect the Ritz. The room was small and basic but was clean and comfortable and overall is value for money, there was nothing to complain about. It is well situated, only a 5min walk to Earls Court underground station.

When we arrived we thought from the outside it was going to be nice! How wrong could we be! We were given our double room which was tiny! No room for both of us to be stood up at the same time. The walls were paper thin on all sides and full of marks ans scratches, and the breakfast room... More

We recently stayed at the Lord Jim Hotel in the family room, 3 adults, 2 children. No bedding or base for the cot, room small with damp patches, very very hot, no hair dryer as advertised. Breakfast was appalling and staff most unhelpful, no high chairs. Reception staff good but "family friendly" I think not!!! Will not be going back.... More

I stayed at the Lord Jim Hotel for three nights. Everything I read on trip advisor was correct. I was fortunate enough to have a large room. Very comfortable but what most impressed me. Was the kindness and attention to detail by the staff. The manager of the Hotel to me was the best of the best of all Hotels... More

Although the room in general was a little small everything else was perfect! Really comfy double bed, nice sized bathroom and the perfect location! Pubs and shops are just around the corner and the underground isn't much further! With 24 hour reception you can come and go when you please and the staff are really friendly and helpful! Would definitely... More
