We were given room 404 with 2 twin beds. The rooms are very small with no real space for luggage so we used the only chair and the space in front of it. There was a small desk but a chair wasn't possible because the bed was in front of it. Our room did not have a hair dryer but...

We recently stayed at the Lord Jim after spending 3 nights in London and 3 nights in Edinburgh. Our previous hotel was sold out and we booked through Hotels.com. The outside looks OK but the room was terrible. Ripped carpets, peeling paint, no TV working, no room phone and a front desk that really could have cared less.

The pictures on the website do no reflect the very tired, dirty and run down condition of the entire hotel.
A very cheap hotel (considering the prices in London), the room was quite small and not as clean as someone would expect. The staff was very helpful and friendly.Quiet neighborhood. 2' walking from the metro station(Earl's court-green line)! A good choise if you don't want to spend a lot of money for 3 days in London!
Our experience, at the Lord Jim in Earl's Court, was the worst hotel stay we have ever had. The morning we awoke to bed bugs! The hotel's reaction was "that's what you get when you stay in a hotel- too bad for you". Without other options, we tried another room. No bed bugs in second room. But there was mold...

The room was small, but actually fitting a double and a single bed. The bathroom...

We booked by calling the hotel and explaining we need a double room and a triple room with wheel chair access. On arrival we booked in to our "double room" it was more like a single room with a double bed in it... was so small you had to climb in the bed from one side and no room to...
