This is a budget hotel so don't expect the Ritz. The room was small and basic but was clean and comfortable and overall is value for money, there was nothing to complain about. It is well situated, only a 5min walk to Earls Court underground station.

When we arrived we thought from the outside it was going to be nice! How wrong could we be! We were given our double room which was tiny! No room for both of us to be stood up at the same time. The walls were paper thin on all sides and full of marks ans scratches, and the breakfast room... More

We recently stayed at the Lord Jim Hotel in the family room, 3 adults, 2 children. No bedding or base for the cot, room small with damp patches, very very hot, no hair dryer as advertised. Breakfast was appalling and staff most unhelpful, no high chairs. Reception staff good but "family friendly" I think not!!! Will not be going back.... More

I stayed at the Lord Jim Hotel for three nights. Everything I read on trip advisor was correct. I was fortunate enough to have a large room. Very comfortable but what most impressed me. Was the kindness and attention to detail by the staff. The manager of the Hotel to me was the best of the best of all Hotels... More

Although the room in general was a little small everything else was perfect! Really comfy double bed, nice sized bathroom and the perfect location! Pubs and shops are just around the corner and the underground isn't much further! With 24 hour reception you can come and go when you please and the staff are really friendly and helpful! Would definitely... More

They say "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Unfortunately, I have to write 200 characters... When we opened the bedroom door it hit the bed. The stench from the bathroom was horrid but was coming from the pipes so my husband covered the openings and it dulled it a bit. The room was... More

The advertising for this hotel is completely deceptive! Any of the positive reviews that are here have GOT to be via friends and relatives and not actual people who've stayed here. I was absolutely shocked when showed up for my vacation and I saw the room I'd booked thru Hotels.com. The room was so small there was not even room... More

So let's be honest staying in Central London close to Earls Court was always going to be hard and expensive , so I went on line checked out the reviews and took a chance based on 49%, pleasantly surprised happy reception desk! checked us in quickly, great price, lots of toast etc available at breakfast which other reviews have slated!... We were a bit concerned when we read about bed bugs, and mentioned it to the receptionist on arrival. Her explanation satisfied us and we were pleasantly surprised to see how neat and clean it was. Room 101 is small but perfectly adequate for the main purpose, a good nights sleep. The bed was comfortable and the choice of pillows... More

I booked a triple room for my husband, 16year old son and myself. Based on previous comments about the size of the rooms we prepared ourselves mentally for a small room. However, we did not anticipate how small! Large people will not be comfortable in this hotel. Our room was in the basement. The atmosphere was claustrophobic. The dining room... More
