I stayed here for one night for a business trip to London and everything was perfect. Staff upon arrival were really friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The bathroom was spotless and had a nice powerful hot shower (and a bath). I got a brilliant night's sleep, which set my up for an important... More

Stayed for one night to attend a course through work. Excellent check in which was really quick and modern. Double room was large enough with comfy bed and choice of pillows. Could maybe do with an iron in the room would be my only criticism. Ate in the hotel where they do meal deals. Soup wasn't great for my starter... More

We arrived around 10 am with a view to leaving our bags and checking in later. However the lady on reception, without us having to ask, said we could have the rooms straight away. She was very friendly and efficient despite having a name badge with "Trainee" on it. The hotel itself was clean, quiet and comfortable and we had... More

Brilliant location, it has everything, car parking and so close to many attractions. The only downside was the temperature control in the bedroom it was far too hot and we couldn't seem to adjust the temperature, We did mention this to reception who said they would turn off the heat.

We stayed here for my daughters birthday trip to London, only 10 mins walk from London Bridge station so all of the London sights were really easy to visit. All the staff here were amazing and really friendly and they could not do enough for us. We will definitely use them again.

Stayed here for 2 nights and the service was exceptional. Maria on breakfast was really attentive and friendly. Jan in the bar was very bubbly, chatty and very friendly too, nothing was too much for her. No wonder why this Premier Inn has more than a thousand exellent reviews.

Stayed with hubby and son (4) for two nights and it was a great hotel in a brilliant central location. Check in was easy, the rooms great. We had an extra bed which was very quickly removed when requested. Eat dinner at the hotel restaurant on our second night and the food was beautiful. Service amazing, can not fault the... More

I stay on this hotel quite often with work. The staff are lovely and you see regular staff. They are very helpful and always seem eager to help. Being a lady travelling alone safety and security is important to me. I can say I always feel safe and comfortable eating alone in the restaurant. Definitely worth a staying here. Good... More

We stayed at the premier as we have used the chain before and you really do get the service of a top top hotel at Premiers prices! It was great value as we were central London and walking distance from all attractions we needed to visit. Room as expected was clean, comfortable and as we were on the 8th floor... More

Hotel good for a Weekend...buffer breakfast a nightmare on the Sunday. ..loads if people queuing and the food was ready quickly enough to replenish the hot counter which was a shame as everything else was fine

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
