Awesome, easy to get to sight seeing in London. Close to transport links and walking distance to the Tower and Southbank but a bust stop is right outside if you want to save your legs. Clean and quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Warm welcome and easy check in. Good shower.

We booked this Premier Inn for a midweek stay as we usually stay north of Tower Bridge at weekends when hotels in that area are cheaper. We are glad we did, and it would certainly make us think twice about staying at 'posher' hotels next time we come to London. The Premier Inn is an easy walk from Tower Hill... More

Check in was very easy and friendly. The room as always with a Premier Inn was excellent, very comfy bed and spotless, the only downside in the room was the shower could have been more powerful, but that's being picky. We did the meal deal and the breakfast was excellent, full English and everything else you could ask for, however... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night last week. It takes about 15 minutes to walk here from the nearest tube station, so I would think twice about staying if mobility is a problem. Our room had just been painted. The smell of paint was quite strong, there was still masking tape on the woodwork and the pictures... More

Great location, rooms and bathroom very well maintained and clean. However, clearly understaffed as unable to deal with issues in a timely manner. Breakfast a complete nightmare. Huge queues, right along to reception. Staff unable to cope - tables were available but not enough staff to clean them and make them available. Same with food - long gaps with no... More

Very helpful staff, great value, moden and comfy. A bit further from main attractions than I thought but that was more due to my poor geography. I'd definitely concider staying here again. It boasted all the qualities of a higher end hotel at only £69 pounds for the night in the middle of London!

10-15 mins walk from Tower Bridge and ideal for visiting this area. 10-15 mins walk from 2 different tube stations and a co op opposite open early til late. Restaurant was great for breakfast, staff helpful, altho service a bit slow but it was busy. Would recommend.

Stayed here 12th of December for 2 nights. The room was spotless , a great view of the shard by the way, fresh clean bedding and lots of extras tea / coffee etc. The staff are a credit and will stop at nothing to make your stay comfortable. We decided to dine in the restaurant on Saturday night to avoid... More

2night stay in a family room with 10 year old and 5 yr old daughters. Clean and well presented hotel, at a very reasonable price for London. Reception staff and breakfast staff in particular were very helpful, welcoming and went the extra mile. Thank you in particular to La'Keisha. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, although the hotel generally was... More

Stay: 6 December 2014 Just returned from an excellent stay at Premier Inn, London Tower Bridge. The rooms were immaculate and service excellent - Viszon in particular on the reception desk was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I made 2 separate bookings for rooms, as children weren't going to be with us originally, but because they were joining us really wanted... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
