We booked our family room online sometime ago and were able to check in easily using Premier Inn's online check-in service. Arrival was then a smooth process and we were in our room quickly after arriving with help from the friendly staff member. The room was probably the best Premier Inn room we have stayed in and was equipped for... More

Stayed there on a short break recently. Good location for visiting the Tower of London, but a fairly long walk from the nearest tube station. Room did have an amazing view of The Shard though which was nice. Rooms were comfortable and clean as you would expect at a Premier Inn, and no real problems.

I stayed here with my two teenage children and we were all impressed. All the staff were friendly, everything was spotlessly clean, and the beds really are as comfy as they say on the adverts. It was easy to find, although it is a good 20 minute walk from the nearest tube station. The breakfasts are really good value, especially... More

Stayed here for my daughters Birthday in May. Great location for sight seeing and tube stations. Lovely and clean hotel with friendly staff. Our room was a good size and great value for London. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the service was excellent.

Good service by staff, and view from the room was lovely, out over The Shard. Hotel is right by a bus stop which was very handy for travelling to the station and for sight seeing. Small supermarket over the road too, good for buying coffee etc. My partner drinks a lot of coffee, and the hotel never supplies enough for... More

August 2015 - when we booked advised the Ashes were being played locally and the hotel might be busy. Also that given a city location there may be some noise. Everything the adverts say are true. Warm welcome - great room clean and comfortable with a very comfortable bed and importantly for me the pillows were great. Room temperature control.... More

well appointed, right in the spectacular sight-seeing area of London. view from room 435 fantastic, beautiful at night, didn't close the curtains.( shard, gherkin, cheese grater, tower bridge, tower of London.) pay a lot for a great view, but we didn't. Used oyster card to travel on the tube, easy with a free app on your phone to show you... More

Just returned from a short break in London...this is our 4th time at this hotel, and as usual it was excellent. The rooms are spotless, the staff are friendly and helpful..and the restaurant is spot on...if only all Premier inns were this good...thank you Premier Inn Tower Bridge for being so good. See you again soon.

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
