The hotel is around a ten minute walk from London Bridge station, very convenient. We paid £69 for a night which was an absolute bargain to stay in Central London. The room was spotless and comfy as per usual with Premier Inn. I would stay here again without doubt.

Had a fantastic 3 days . Staff especially helpful and friendly nothing to much trouble. Anita helped us with a taxi to theatre land where we watched miss saigon. We changed our minds with taxi time and anita was brilliant nothing to much trouble but she is not the only member of staff who impressed us . Great stay for... More

I love Premier Inn...comfy rooms, decent beds and bedding, good shower, tv, kettle, air con and a window I can open...I don't need much more! Add to that a lovely guy on check-in, so nice I even bought him a drink to say well done, a nice Caesar Salad with again good service in the restaurant, and even the guy... More

we stayed overnight due to a business event being held locally. A great location near all the sites Shard, Tower Bridge, Tower of London etc if you need a base near London attractions. The room was clean tidy the bed was fab after a busy day to sink into. There was no room service to speak of but the bar... More

My wife and I have just stayed here for a few days and were very impressed with both the hotel and the staff. The location is excellent, it's only a couple of minutes walk from Tower Bridge and The Tower of London. We came in from Stansted to Liverpool Street Station. My first piece of advice would be to buy... More

Staff very good and attentive. Check in was a breeze. The room was clean, tidy and well presented. Only issue was the location, it was a 15 minute walk to the nearest tube station. Area around hotel was not very well lit at night so could be very uncomfortable to walk back in early hours.

Comfy, warm, welcoming, tidy, clean...I`ll not go on as I`m sure you get the picture. The room was excellent, bathroom superb & the food, both evening & breakfast was great. The only complaint was 30 minutes free wifi but I believe that has now been rectified. No complaint about this hotel. Very close to the train station & of course,... More

I occasionally work nearby on business, and this was one of the cheapest hotels I could find in London. Many moons ago I used to work in a Premier Inn, so I vaguely know what to expect, but this hotel had been updated recently, and it was a great stay. I arrived and a member of staff helped me use... Stayed here for 1 night and the staff were brilliant. Beds very comfortable, clean room and breakfast really good. We did eat in restaurant and ordered 2 steaks but really tough and chewy. Did mention it and they did reduce bill so can't really complain about that. Would certainly return sooner rather than later

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
