I've yet to stay at a bad Premier Inn and that still continues. It is well situated just 5 minutes walk from Tower Bridge and 10 minutes walk from London Bridge Station. It is clean and the bedrooms comfortable. We had a family room and it was spacious enough for the 4 of us. Bathroom was clean and new. Breakfast... More

could not fault the room clean quite and roomy, a real bonus for London. very comfortable bed with choice of pillows did not try the bar or restaurant. Reception maned all night as I had to leave for a work matter and then return in the middle of the night.

Stayed in this Premier Inn last January on visit to London for the weekend with my Family. This is a very good Premier Inn, perfect location for visiting London. 5 minutes walk from Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Hotel was welcoming, friendly and had a good atmosphere. Rooms were as good as always with the Premier Inns. Comfortable,... More

Good location for tower bridge and other attractions. Very comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Very good for families and breakfast was great too. Took advantage of the luggage store on last day so no need to carry heavy bags around all day. Nice area felt safe and had local shops nearby with some nice independent cafe's too.

Very good hotel. Everything looks new and clean. Good breakfast with wide choice of cold and hot meal (I could probably add a few items like more variety of fruits, but the offer was already v. good). Breakfast hours very flexible. Staff nice and helpful. Good location. We had 3 persons room, the size was big enough.

This was in a great location: only a short walk from London Bridge station and from Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, the Tower and bus and boat tours. This was very useful as I took my excited five-year-old to sight-see and there was so much practically on our doorstep. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the family room we booked... More

I like premier inn, and 9 times out of 10 I will choose premier inn. This has to be the nicest one I've stayed at, the rooms were on par with the recent hilton I stayed at, newly refurbished with a new decor. The thyme restaurant was good value and the meal we had was beautiful. 2 course with a... More

Great accommodation with friendly and helpful service. Beds very comfortable to sleep in and rooms are spacious. The Inn was within walking distance to the Tower Bridge and the Tower Bridge Underground Station.

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
