Stayed here for a school trip with a group of 36. Had 2 large dorms which suited us well. Bathrooms were clean and designated male or female. Food was lovely, lots of it and good value. Holland park YHA is in the middle of London close to tube stations yet quiet and relaxed.

This is a clean, nice hostel. It is located in a park, which is nice, no big roads making a noise close by. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the hostel is pretty close to two tube-stations, which is handy. There is a nice garden courtyard with benches where you can sit and rest. My friend and I were... More

I have stayed at this hostel on three occasions and I hope to go there again before they close it forever in November. The staff is friendly, the location great, the restaurant as well as self-catering facilities very nice and clean. Yes, the dormitories could use some renovation and just like all YHA hostels there is never enough electric sockets,... More

- 24/7 reception. - dreadful smell in the doorms (presuming it was an unclean guest). - nice lawn and flowers. - Friendly staff (English as a mother tongue would be nice thank you very much). - Good value for the breakfast. - the minimum price for a room was excessive.

One of the best places I've stayed as far as hostels go, and I've stayed in a number around the world. The hostel isn't the most modern/stylish in the interior compared to some of the other London YHA's, but everything works, and this is more than made up for in terms of the beautiful Holland Park environs, peace and quiet,... The hostel was ok, the beds were more coffins and there was only one power source so that wasn't good. The rude guest that came in around 7/8am to demand people move things was just a joke! Ruined our stay! She shouldn't have been let in until noon. We had breakfast which was ok, nothing special. Definitely needs updating!

After a few crazy, noisy days in Kings Cross, this hostel was a wonderful refuge. Although an older facility, it is located in a beautiful park. It is a 10 minute walk from several Underground stations, and late night access is limited due to the park being closed at 20h30m, but this results in a very peaceful location. Wifi is... More

we were a group of 7 friends in the same reservation. Though the first receptionist didn't like us that much, the rest part of the staff was very nice and helpful. It has clean and comfortable rooms, and decent bathrooms, though it needs maintenance in the bathrooms on the second floor. The kitchen is well organised and has plenty of... More

First of all, I have been at many cheap places but this was the badest I've ever seen. The staff was very unfriendly as our group was told not to speak (just speak, no scram or sth like this) by the reception at daytime. It's a youth hostel and it may get loud, but speaking should not be forbitten. I... More

I came from greater manchester with a group of 17 children. Rooms very basic with triple bunk beds, adequate for what we needed as we were out and about the majority of the 5 day stay. Breakfast was a bargain and fabulous choices available, so would recommend booking on to this we also pre booked packed lunches for each day... More
