I am usually the hotel sorta person but I wanted to try out the hostel experience (not like the movie or anything) just the whole sharing and mixing. I was probably too tired to interact with anyone as I had just come back from Cuba and jetlag was whopping my behind! But it was clean, staff were nice and on... More

I have just arrived my place from a London trip with a very special person! This hostel has great staff and great conditions ,the rooms and are tidy and the breakfast was very nice. There is a outdoor space and a rest area with all the services you need to make a nice pitstop from your stay. Absolutely recommended!! Ps:... More

- Kitchen is nice and well-equipped. You can cook and have your breakfast/dinner at the courtyard, which was somehow romantic to me. - Location is perfect. It´s close to Earl´s Court tube station, bus stop, M&S (if you´re on budget like me, wait until 8-9 pm for healthy products at a reduced price ;D), restaurants, Starbucks, Burger King, McDonald´s etc.... Came for one night during EGX. It was in a wonderful area with clean rooms, decent wifi and a decent communal area. It was affordable and pleasant. I would definitely come here again and reccomend to anyone/everyone! I even slept in way longer than I was allowed and they were cool with it.

I have stayed here twice now, the location is perfect, there is every kind of food you could want in an area, to suit all budgets and in terms of backpacking I highly recommend, Staff are friendly, rooms and bathrooms are reasonable also . You can get to it on the district and piccadilly lines so it is easily accessible!... More

Good beds and the place is clean, the staff is friendly also. The location is perfect, it's located between two underground stations and it's very quiet. The shared toilets and showers are clean. The only problem is that when you are going to your room, you may smell some cook (but its not inside the room). The hostel is recommended... More

I was here with eight students from school, part of a larger group from about 10-12 other schools. The rooms are what you would expect in a hostel - bunk beds. The sink in my room didn't smell very pleasant, but the communal bathrooms were fine, so I suspect it was just my room. The walls are a bit thin... More

A nice quiet little place, with friendly helpful staff. It's a cheap bed, in a great location, which is far enough away from the hustle. Yet still closed enough to be in the middle of it within minutes. The subway is only a few minutes walk away, where you have direct access to the District, and Piccadilly Line. Showers could... This hostel Will be your perfect new home while in London. I've had the chance to stay there for 2 weeks and had absolutely a stunning time. The team is super friendly, rooms are pretty new and you'll get to use free wifi and a fully furnished kitchen in the basement. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Me and two of my friends stayed here for a night as part of a weekend away in London (we're students in Bristol). The hostel was cheap, and we weren't expecting much for £20 each. However, the hostel was wonderfully clean and modern, with very comfy beds and incredible heating (it was freezing outside, but lovely and warm inside!). The... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
