most staff is nice and helpful, rooms and sheets are clean, and there's are very friendly atmosphere. On the wrong side, there were too little electricity plugs in the room, and our room was next to the kitchen where a party had been going on...

It is a nice hostel to stay in..it is well located, nice rooms and plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen is equipped and clean. They offer activities every day, like free pancakes, pub crawl, movie night, pizza night, etc. They need to improve Wifi connection in the bedrooms it is not working the majority of the time and the shared space is... We were 6 friend in a 6-bed room. All the workers provide a personalized and friendly service (by far the best aspect of the hostel). All the facilities were working well, the breakfast was also OK. Good internet conection and some plus like a movie projector in the chilling room. Eventhough our room was poorly ventilated, just a very small... More

I use this hostel on a regular basis for my trips to london, staff are polite. Basic breakfast for a small donation to a charity. Only downful is the lack of plugs. Great distance to the wll local attractions.

I was looking for a central hostel in London that also was quiet and Astor Victoria delivered. Whilst there are activities, incl pub crawls, on daily the hostel is also respectful of those who might not want a lively night out. The hostel team do a good job of keeping noise down after 9, for respect of their neighbours and... More

As I needed to take the Gatwick Express really early in the morning I wanted to stay at a place near Victoria Station. This is why I picked the Astor Victoria. It is just a short walk to the station and also Pimlico tube station is close. The review seemed not too bad either. However, I was not too pleased... More

I stayed here for three nights in a private single room on personal business. I found the property to be very clean and light, but it lacked atmosphere and was adversely affected by the ill-tempered staff (with a few exceptions). It was very difficult to sleep before midnight because of noise from the showers. The location goes some way to... More

This hostel is nice, and gives you good value for your money. The location is awesome since it is a 10 minute walk from Victoria Coach Station and Pimlico tube station. The beds are pretty comfortable but a bit squeaky. Cleanliness could be better but it is okay. A short walk from several sights! Recommended if you don't mind sharing... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
