This place had a great rating and won an award last year from Tripadvisor. That's why we booked it. Mistake. The rooms are tiny. No-space-for-luggage tiny. Ours had an usuable (no water) shower in the middle of it, taking up space. There are luggage storage cages under the beds which would be impossible for someone with a really large or... More

I must say I was very disappointed, because I read all of these good reviews and that is why I chose to stay over there, but it turned out to be just average. The staff people were not nice or helpful. There is no lockers in the room, there is cages that you could lock, but it isn't safe so... More

I was pleased in this hostel by clean rooms but there were not cleaned toilets. There was not bathroom, just toilet and sink was in the room. There is no hairdryer in the hostel so as there were no towels when we needed them. Breakfast is not very tasty after third day, because it is just the same and not... More

If you are in London for a few nights its a good location to stop at.. considering the closeness to the subway. Just few things let me down a bit..bathrooms are literally the size of a shoebox, toilets while i was there, twice got bunged up all day long and nobody seemed to care much.. Rooms need dusting badly..and most... More

Stayed in a female room, which ended up being on the very top floor which is alright but after a day or two of walking London those 5 flights of stairs are a killer. I was there on a weekend but ended up being the only person in the 6 bed room which was a bit depressing. That, in addition... More

I have backpacked many places in the USA and Latin America, this is my first trip to Europe. I have stayed in many hostels and this was by far the overall best one. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, sheets as well (not always the case in hostels)...the staff was plentiful and always eager to help a lost soul...the staff... More

Positives: - great location - helpful staff - good hostel atmosphere with the people staying - warm rooms (thanks to central heating) - dampers on doors to enable doors to close quietly when exiting room - reasonable price - ATM in foyer Negatives: - rooms don't have much noise isolation from each other (you can hear another door close) and... There are two desks at reception, even if there are two staff members behind there and a long queue - they only ever have one person serve. They have a wall of staff photos there and not one is British, which is a shame as its England and you won't the whole experience you know. The staff are not very... More

This is the worst hostel of the whole world. The personal were very rude. Rooms were dirties and noisy. The person in the reception was very stupid. The breakfast was horrible. Everything was extremely bad.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
