Nice Hotel, great location, the only down side was we ordered room service, the food was luke warm when it arrived and we were told to leave it in the corridor when we had finished and it was still there 12 hours later.

Would highly recommend this hotel to people looking for a good deal and wanting single beds in London. Rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable.

Stayed at the Abba hotel a few days ago, as we were going to a show at the Royal Albert Hall, which is 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. We booked via Booking.com which was trouble free and allowed cancellation up until 24hrs before. Room was very clean and nicely designed, good selection of toiletries. We arrived at 12 and... More

This hotel is out of the congestion zone. We parked at Queensway which was £24 for 24 hours. Much cheaper than parking at the Kensington side.A twenty minute walk through Hyde Park and we reached the Abba Hotel. The hotel is very clean and quite glitzy. The furniture in the reception and bar is very modern in design but not... More

We went to London to visit the town: Hop on hop off / Hamleys / Harrods / Tower Bridge / London Eye / Arsenal Stadium. The hotel is perfectly located near Gloucester Subway station and Hyde Park. Has a very good English / Spanish breakfast. And the rooms are in perfect condition. Personel was very friendly and helpful. We had... More

We stayed at the Abba Queen's Gate hotel as we were visiting the Royal Albert Hall for a concert. The location is perfect for this purpose being just round the corner from the RAH. The staff were very welcoming and friendly the initial impression of this hotel was that it was clean and fresh - looked like it had been... More

Have stayed here twice on business and have booked again. Hotel smart and modern in a great area close to Kensington, Hyde Park and Museums. Rooms, a little on the small side, especially singles (the shower is tiny) have everything you need and are decorated to a high standard. A really good choice of restaurants nearby. Staff helpful. Small gym... More

Stayed here to take my daughter to London for few days. Chose this as all the museums are a 5 minute walk away. Great price for the fantastic location. Staff were very helpful indeed. Room was perfect, breakfast was brilliant. Will definitely stay here again.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
