I requested a quiet room when I booked - we got a room at the front of the building overlooking the busy main road - there was no double or secondary glazing on the windows so it was very noisy. The room was poorly soundproofed, you can easily hear the adjoining rooms television and conversations and whilst the wooden flooring... More

Any time we can get an upgrade to an actual king sized bed in Europe we love it! ( Plus there was plently of room to not bump into each other.) The location was great for us to see another area of London and quite convenient to 2 tube stops. Easy shopping and close to the V & A museum,... More

The staff were a bit stuck up and not really friendly. The room was clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny but the shower was great and very powerful. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment. If you are looking for a place convenient for shopping then it's probably a good place to stay. If... More

If I had paid £75 for this hotel, I would have been pleasantly surprised - it's not your usual burgorndy pattern carpetted anonymous chinzy hotel - which is a welcome relief. However it was actually £175 per night and that's not cheap, especially when you can get a room at a travelodge for half that cost. For the money I... More

Great little hotel belonging to the Spanish Abba chain, just a few hundred yards from the Albert Hall in a leafy avenue. The Natural History Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum and Kensington Palace are all close by. Underground stations are 5-10 minutes walk away in all directions and there's a bus service to the door (number 70 - stop is... More

In London for a 2 day conference at Imperial College. Hotel ideally situated 5 mins walk away. Excellent room, bed, and breakfast and all booked 24 hours before arrival. Checking in and out both done within minutes. I could not fault this hotel.

Good location, resonable facilities. It was my third or forth visit to this hotel. I used to like it. Yet.....too many mistakes and missunderstandings at the reservation stage. And not for the first time. The room standard I got was not the one promissed to me in writing during the booking process. Too many excuses by the hotel. And my... More

The good – this is a very modern, very clean hotel. The rooms are small but well laid out with a good, well-lit bathroom, a nice shower, and very comfortable beds. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the Gloucester Road tube station and is very convenient when coming by tube from Heathrow. It is also just a few... More
