This hotel is located very near Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, but a bit of a hike (10 minutes) from the tube station and a street with restaurants/coffee (especially if you have luggage). The room was huge, light filled, clean and modern, and the staff were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. The only... More

I only stayed here for 1 night, but found it clean and comfortable, with the bonus of air con too. The rooms and hotel are nicely decorated, and our room was a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful, letting us slightly extend our check out time until our minibus collected us. It's a short walk to Kensington gardens and... More

We stayed in a 3 bed room, the only downside was that we were in the lower floor, so below street level and a room with no windows, this was room 1006. The room was however a very decent size, very clean and the beds very comfortable. I found the reception staff to be very friendly and helpful. They arranged... More

We only stayed for one night in a room that was probably one of the smallest we've ever been allocated. There was no point in asking to change rooms as we were on a tight schedule, would be out all evening, and only required a bed for the night. Had we been staying longer then I would have contacted the... More

I did book a single occupancy room, which is what I got, so I shouldn't really be too surprised to get a single bed in a very small room, but I stay is a lot of hotels for work and this was by far the smallest room I have ever stayed in with the smallest TV not to mention shower... More

Comfy bed, great location for the Royal Albert Hall. Bathroom clean. Generally we were happy but not enough tea bags or milk. Towels poor quality. No hair conditioner, no tissues, sheet on one bed dirty. No help with where to park our car. Confusion at reception as English language was poor. Not clear as to evening meal availability in the... The location of this hotel is great, but unfortunately that is the only positive thing I have to say about it. Dear Pudkin, I am really sorry to hear that you experience with us wasn't pleasant at all. I would like to say that you was upgraded to an executive room. Unlike other rooms in upper levels, brighter with more natural daylight, all the rooms located on the ground floor have bigger windows in order to get as much light as... More

Well situated hotel, very close to the Natural History Museum and the Albert Hall and 10 mins walk from Gloucester Road tube station. Nice reception area, and very nice staff. Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
