Afternoon tea is served gracefully and the food is utterly splendid. Huge selection of sandwiches, cake and tea - overall Devine. Our waiter was fabulous! The location wonderfully close to all Kensington facilities

Spent one night here on 25th July, took an upgrade to a club room. The room was very good apart from the view ie there wasn't one. The double bed was massive and room was clean. The bathroom sink had an ugly brown mark in bottom of it, which you wouldn't expect in a four star hotel.Although it was suggested... More

Was take to Queen's Gate as a birthday surprise-and was ever so impressed. Afternoon tea was delicious, as was breakfast the next morning. They clearly have an excellent pastry chef! The bed in our room was extremely comfy, and staff were always friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Breakfast buffets were phenomenal. Really. The staff in the breakfast room were very helpful in working the self serve espresso machine and fresh squeezed orange juice machine. Our room, 314, had plenty of room to move about in. I was concerned thinking that it would be super small after seeing reviews at other hotels. Happy to note it was comfortable... More

Modern amenities in a historical building. Perfect location for sightseeing, shopping. We stayed here for one night only, but would definitely recommend. Only problem was that air conditioning couldn't keep up with the record breaking heat. Great breakfast included.

Very good family room, basement level . If need to change air conditioning temperature control is at reception as they have main controls. Service at reception was better second day. My son and I stayed here overnight as we were going to see Quadrophennia at the Albert Hall and wanted somewhere within walking distance. It is a lovely hotel, close to the underground and has the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Kensington Gardens right on the doorstep and within easy walking distance. Harrods was also only a 15 minute... More

Second Time here. Good place to stay. I was here for Eric Clapton's concert at Royal Albert Hall. Not far from underground and really closed at Hyde Park. I suggest it for romantic, workly or frindly trip.

What an absolute gem of a hotel, our first stay there as we were at the Frankie Valli concert on the 30th June and wanted to be able to walk to the Royal Albert Hall. Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
