I chose this hotel because of its location- my party and I have very hectic lives and wanted a nice quiet location to relax and enjoy a good night's sleep. We were never informed that there were building works literally next door which was also directly outside our window. I complained and did get a discounted rate (quite reluctantly) but... More

I stayed with my two teenaged kids and the room for three was huge, clean and in a nice location. But the interior was quite cold and empty. The beds were not really comfortable and for me to soft. In the bath they were small things partly broken, like shower or water tap (maybe it is just the British way).... More

Came to this hotel for my mothers 80th birthday. We had room 1 which is a triple room (3 single beds - very rare in London). The room was spacious and extremely clean. Very high spec decor. Our kettle didnt work when we arrived but it was very swiftly fixed. Lovely clean bathroom if a little small but this did... More

Room was very pleasant, clean and comfortable, very nice décor and plenty of towels. Lots of space, bathroom a little small but a lovely power-shower with nice toiletries. Reception staff very helpful and the bar man was very friendly, made a nice non-alcoholic cocktail for me with mint - try it! We had room 101 which is right by the... More

Perfect location for a weekend break in London. We went to the Albert Hall to see a performance and the hotel is less than 5 minutes walk away so ideally located. Gloucester Road tube station is about 7 minutes in the other direction and there are shops and restaurants nearby. The room was a reasonable size and very clean. There... More

Location is close to Albert Hall and just a 10' walk to South Kensington Underground station. Very good service at the reception, breakfast is also very good. Rooms are somewhat small but very nice. Some restaurants nearby.

We stayed here for 1 night to attend the BBC Folk Awards at the Royal Albert Hall. The location was perfect, only a 5 minute stroll away. We stayed here for a long weekend, in room 1015 and absolutely could not fault it. I was a little skeptical after reading some negative reviews, but was proved wrong. We booked a standard room which was spacious, with luggage rack, two wardrobes and a huge double height window with balcony - a rarity for central London at this price.... More
