Stayed four nights in room 303. Will use this hotel our next time in London. Walking distance to many sights and the convenience of a good pub right downstairs. Staff was attentive and offered suggestions as to tours and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we could ask for. Thank you Sanctuary House for adding... More

I really liked staying at this hotel. Location is perfect for Buckingham Palace, Westminister Catherdral, Big Ben and Parliment. Good breakfast is included and there is an attached pub which is convenient for late night food. Staff were wonderful!

The hotel is fine but beware of the noise. I was woken up each morning around 6 to the sound of trucks in the alley. Our AC unit also made noise in the middle of the night. We were on the first floor and seemed to hear doors opening and closing all the time. We did have drinks at Fullers... More

Very welcoming and helpful staff. In a great location. Fullers must be doing something right as I have visited a number of their hotels and have never been disappointed, particularly excellent staff! Upper floor rooms are a little quieter. Nice touches for a London hotel include complementary water and lovely fresh milk on request.

It's been a few years since we stayed here, but we loved this hotel. Great food. Great bar. Location is wonderful. Very quiet at night but in the daytime busy. Walking distance to St. James' Park and other attractions.

This is a boutique hotel in Westminster with easy access to tube and buses and pleasant walking distance from many attractions. The rooms are a decent size and have modern bathrooms. Decor is fresh and modern. The beds are pretty good, and the towels are lovely. The air conditioning is unobtrusive and effective. The service is friendly. My first room... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. We were given complimentary bottles of water in the mini fridge every day. Turn down service was a nice treat. The staff also arranged for an airport transfer for our very early morning flight. If we make it... More

So, I have to confess that I have not stayed here, but have been here several times in the past couple of months with work colleagues to sample the food and the drinks on offer. The first thing I have to comment on is the service which was very personable and good; the bar staff and the waitresses were very... More

Nice neighbourhood, right by Westminster Abby, Buckingham and St. James´s park. 10 min walk to Hyde Park or Regent street. To hotel are old, but classy and not shabby. The service is very good, and the rooms are fine. The restaurant/bar on the ground floor is very good.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is it's location relative to places like Big Ben, Westminster, etc. Otherwise the hotel does not match all the glowing reviews I found here on TripAdvisor. The floors creak terribly which means you hear everyone moving around at all hours of night. It's loud outside of the hotel late into the... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
