Stayed at this hotel for four nights and were offered an upgrade. Central location within walking distance of many sights and close to two tube stations. Comfortable beds, small touches usually only found in large, highly starred hotels. Great breakfast with rolls and pastries made in-house and good coffee.

Situated close to St James Tube and Scotland Yard, I visited for a meal with friends. The menu was varied and included vegetarian options. My linguine was quickly made, well presented and very tasty. And at £10 is very good value for central London. It was a busy atmospheric restaurant when we were there, though easy to have a conversation.... More

The location is just unbelieveble, just around the corner from a subway station and next to St. James Park (Buckingham palace) and Big Ben. It is very clean, you have a pub donwstairs and we did not take the breakfast. Staff was quite nice, all of them and room was very big for as european metropole capital.

This hotel is centrally located, has a very nice staff, and clean cozy rooms. It is very easy to walk to many of the major sites and attractions. It also is close to many restaurants and shopping. It was pleasure to stay here. We would stay here again.

Stayed here for just one night but can honestly say it has really got things right. Initially was slightly disappointed by the size of the room, but since we woulldn't be sitting in it for any period of time that quickly dissipated. Compact yes, but everything that was needed. Bathroom also,on the small side but also with everything needed. Shower... More

Stayed here for one night with the boyfriend, and was very happy and also slightly surprised at what we found. Lovely little hotel situated above a traditional english pub. Rooms were very modern and exceptionally clean. Beds were amazinly comfortable! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and even offer you a paper in the morning - although... More

We stayed at this hotel on a weekendtrip to London. This is typically a family owned hotel, not a chain. The reception staff is really very friendly and will try to give you a comfortable stay as much as the can. The hotel is within walking distance of the London Eye and Buckingham Palace and the nearest Subway station is... More

Dear hotel guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave your review. Whilst actually being owned by Fullers Brewery, we certainly aim to create the cosy and understated charm that family owned establishments tend to have about them, ensuring that a more personal and friendly service is brought to our guests and I am so pleased that... We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location is perfect if you are looking to visit some of the main attractions in London. Many hotels in the city promise to be 'just a short walk from all major attractions' but can be a good 30 minute walk. This hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from Westminster Abbey. The... More

Dear hotel guest, Thank you for leaving your kind review. The team that we... More

Stayed at The Sanctuary House for a long weekend. We booked two rooms as we were a party of four. The hotel is strategically located at a short walk from Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace, with St. James' Park underground station almost next to the hotel. The hotel has a bar & restaurant on the ground floor. Reception is... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
