I stayed at the Rhodes Hotel for just one night - having booked it for its proximity to Hyde Park, which was staging the O2 festival that I'd travelled down for. I couldn't have been given a warmer welcome by the owner Chris Crias (i never met Mrs Crias!) , and was very happy to find that I'd been upgraded... More

I stayed at this B&B for 3 nights back in June. It was my first trip to London. As I will be travelling alone, it was strictly safety first when it comes to finding the right hotel. I decided on this place after reading good reviews in Tripadvisor. I stayed at the hotel annex, but nevertheless, the room & toilet... More

We wanted somewhere clean, tidy, safe and friendly. A place to lay your weary head after a long day sightseeing, we got it and more from the Rhodes Hotel. Situated a stones throw from Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations, access was easy to the square mile. The hotel is a wonderful little place, run by a nice couple, who go... More

I stayed at the Rhodes Hotel last June for 3 nights, based on reviews I had read on this site. It was my 4th trip to London and each time I stayed in the Sussex Gardens area. The proximity to the tube stations and Hyde Park is excellent. I travelled with a couple of friends of mine. I had a... More

This hotel fully deserves the glowing reports on TripAdvisor. I can't speak for the other rooms but we had a superior and it was excellent. The jacuzzi bath being the best thing. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning was a welcome extra. Breakfast was filling and we were very well lookd after by all the hotel's staff. If I... More

Our first ever trip to London and it was a great location. Room was spacious (for UK), very clean and enjoyable. Easy access to Hyde park, two 'Tube' stations (three different lines), Train line West to Bath etc,. Depending on where we walked there was busy london life or quiet neighborhood. Loved it!

We stayed at the Rhodes Hotel at the end of our honeymoon, after I was sick in Paris for a week. The hotel staff greeted me with friendliness and concern, and were incredibly welcoming - they gave us a free map of London and highlighted all the important sites and public transport information. The hotel has a great location next... More

The Rhodes Hotel is a great find! We stayed at the Rhodes for the first week of a two week vacation. The location is great: walking distance to several tube stations (Lancaster Gate and Paddington), a National Rail station (Paddington), bus stops, good restaurants (try Mickey's for great fish and chips), shops, and Hyde Park. If you're not interested in... More

A very pleasant stay, very kind personnel and very clean rooms, even if quite small. The proper hotel was full, but they have a "round the corner" building with more rooms to rent. Breakfast is fine, and you don't miss anything. If you want traditional English breakfast, it's about 3 punds more, but it's worth it. Mr.Crias cooks everything with... More

We stayed ath the Rodes 3 night in April. Excellent location - 1 block from Paddington where you can catch trains, tube, taxis. (TAKE THE HEATHROW CONNECT FROM THE AIRPORT!!!! Half the price of the Express, with just a few stops) Our room was quiet due to double-pane windows, VERY clean, comfortable, and big by London standards. The bathroom had... More
