If you're looking for a huge room in which you want to hang out a lot, you may want to spend much more for one of those Hilton type places. However, if you want a great, clean, updated room for one of the best prices in London, super nice staff, good breakfast, then this is a wonderful place for you!... More

My girlfriend and I rather awfully arrived at 11:15pm. Despite our late arrival we were welcomed in a friendly manner and walked round to our room in the annex. The walk even included a stop to give us an idea of the area and what was in the vicinity for the following day. The room was a straightforward clean room... More

Love this family-run hotel. It has been my "home away from home" in London four or five times. Good price and friendly service, v. clean rooms as well as a great location. Have stayed there with my son whose mobility issues were solved by giving us a ground-floor room in the Annex. So, do ask if needed. This time I... More

Stayed for 2 nights early August 2014. Hauling luggage to the top floor was difficult to navigate as staircase very narrow the higher you get. Lucky to have assistance in getting suitcases up to the room. The aircon was totally ineffective, nowadays much needed during a dry summer spell in London. Wish the management would check and do regular maintenance.... More

Convenient location very close to Paddington metro station (trains from Heathrow airport), many nice bars and good restraurants are within walking distance, Hyde Park is 2 min walking distance, major attractions are within 20-30 min walking distance, Rooms are very small, but nicely equipped; stairs are quite narrow, but hotel staff helps with the luggage & in generally is very... My husband, Granddaughter (18 yrs) and I were very pleased with the room (214 )we shared. Comfortable air conditioning, TV, closet, space, modern bathroom and refrigerator all added to the hospitality we felt. Breakfast was filling and plentiful. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Crias and entire staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Nearby underground access and local good restaurants were... More

It's hard to find a good hotel in London because they're either very expensive or tend to do things hotels wouldn't get away with in other cities. For example, the "free" breakfast is only partially free. You can have a few basic things for free, including what seems to be white bread shaped into a croissant, but if you want... More

This passed my expectations for GBP75 per night in summer. I stayed in the section around the corner and was happy with pretty well everything. Room was smallish (bigger than some I have stayed in around that area) but newly renovated so all good. breakfast was fine and location great for a run in Hyde PArk or access to trains.... More

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights at this charming hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a double room with balcony and a "jacuzzi" bathtub. The room was spotless and we got clean towels and a quick room brush-up the second day. Breakfast was plenty but the diner maybe a bit small. Bear in mind,... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on my trip to london. The best thing about this hotel is the location: 5 minutes to lancaster gate station They gave me a room in the main building. The room was very small and old, quite noisy during the night since the window was old wooden style. The bathroom was very... More
