My family (myself, husband, teenage son) have just spent 3 nights at the Parkwood and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Location is perfect for tube/bus links, also just for walking - whether in Hyde Park or down Oxford Street. The staff are lovely, breakfast is great and the price is superb. Really can't fault it in any way.

My husband and I with our two teenagers stayed in a family room for 5 nights in June. The room was small but comfortable; we had our own bathroom; Wi-Fi worked well; breakfast was good; location and proximity to tube was excellent. Better still, service was exceptional - we missed our Harry Potter Studio Tour due to poor communication with... More

Just spent 3 nights at Parkwood. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Room was simple but clean and the window opened, which I appreciate as I stay in many hotels where that is not the case. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, although as we were there 3 nights, it might have been nice to have a few variations on the theme.... More

I always love to stay at the Parkwood Hotel. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rates are very reasonable for London, the breakfast is generously served (you can have seconds of almost everything!), Hyde Park is just over the road and bus and tube transport is just around the corner. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the beds are... More

We stayed there 4 nights in September and had a wonderful time. The room was perfect for my wife and I and it was nice to have a onsite morning room for breakfast. The location is close to a Tube station and right across the street from Hyde park. The only drawback (and it isn't the hotel's fault) is the... More

We spent 3 nites in July this year, and even though it was really hot then, it was not a problem at all to survive without aircon in the top floor room 14. To manage the flight of stairs you do need a rather good constitution, but then we had a view towards Hyde Park, most rewarding. Location is really... More

Ok, I take responsibility for picking a lousy BnB in London, but the TripAdvisor reviews were good and it was affordable -- and in London, affordable is rare indeed! Besides, it was next to Hyde Park and. Near Marble Arch, great location. But we had just come from a high end experience only to arrive bags in hand to find:... More

It does seem very clear that this guest didn't understand that there would be a significant difference between, as he writes, "a high end" hotel and a B&B. We don't pretend to provide a high-end experience but do provide very reasonably priced rooms bang in the centre of the most popular part of central London. To quote from this guest... More

We spent 5 nights at the Parkwood during our visit to Great Britain in August 2014. It's a good location near the Marble Arch, but our room was still quiet even when we had the window open. The room was clean and contained a safe, which was a nice touch. There is one iron and ironing board for communal use.... More

My friend and I came to London and stayed in this gorgeous Hotel. We were on the same floor as the breakfast room. I have a slight disability (having SM) and this choise was perfect. The management and staff were more like family than hotel staff. Nothing was a problem for them and we were treated like queens. The room... More
