Hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy and very homely. We stayed in room 2 with small patio where we had nice time. The managment and staff are very friendly . Location great and will definetely stay there again when I'll come to London

My friend and I came to London and stayed in this gorgeous Hotel. We were on the same floor as the breakfast room. I have a slight disability (having SM) and this choise was perfect. The management and staff were more like family than hotel staff. Nothing was a problem for them and we were treated like queens. The room... More

We have stayed at the Parkwood twice over the last 2 years. It is by far our favorite hotel because of the staff, proximity to the " Tube " , shopping Oxford St, Hyde Park and major bus routes. Each time we were greeted by the manager, check-in was seemless and any inquires answered promptly .Made to order English breakfasts were... We (my two daughters, aged 14 and 15 and me) enjoyed our stay at the Parkwood Hotel very much. It is an old Georgian family house, with small but cozily furnished rooms. A cooked breakfast is served every morning. We also enjoyed the furnished open air terrace on the first floor. The hotel is located in a small street and... More

Parkwood Hotel is more like a guesthouse than a typical hotel--it has a lot of character and is very comfortable. I loved the building and friendly staff. I stayed on the 4th floor in a single room with a shared bathroom. I actually never saw anyone use the bathroom, so it was like a personal one. Perfect for me! The... More

We stayed here two and a half years ago and enjoyed it OK - had one or two minor issues which you will see in my previous review, but nothing serious and on the whole perfectly fine. Having stayed again, I wanted to do another review, as we had a better room, and therefore a better experience this time. We... More

Looking through the reviews I have decided to leave an above average rating due to the efficiency of the staff on check in, during my one night stay, breakfast and on checkout. Room as expected being compact and `a little' noisy in the morning (road facing No 5) however this was compensated by the fact it was only up a... More

If you expect 5* luxury combined with huge rooms, you're wrong here. However, if you expect a cosy little hotel with comfortable and clean rooms, excellent breakfast, quick and friendly service and an unbeatable location right in the heart of London, you're more than right at the Parkwood. The manager is a most lovely lady who takes care of her... More

We had an early morning meeting at the US Embassy so looked for a fair prices hotel to stay nearby. So came across the Parkwood and booked. Upon arrival early Thursday afternoon the lovely (I'm assuming) manager lady checked us in. We went out for the afternoon and evening and she lent my wife her daughters umbrella in case of... More

We did last minute .com and decided on a few days in London. Found this hotel. Perfect location, excellent price. Room 2 was a large double bed room. Very quiet, clean and has lovely back decking area. I am a large lady and did manage the shower , although did keep touching the dial. No problem though. Breakfast was quick,... More
