Looking through the reviews I have decided to leave an above average rating due to the efficiency of the staff on check in, during my one night stay, breakfast and on checkout. Room as expected being compact and `a little' noisy in the morning (road facing No 5) however this was compensated by the fact it was only up a... More

If you expect 5* luxury combined with huge rooms, you're wrong here. However, if you expect a cosy little hotel with comfortable and clean rooms, excellent breakfast, quick and friendly service and an unbeatable location right in the heart of London, you're more than right at the Parkwood. The manager is a most lovely lady who takes care of her... More

We had an early morning meeting at the US Embassy so looked for a fair prices hotel to stay nearby. So came across the Parkwood and booked. Upon arrival early Thursday afternoon the lovely (I'm assuming) manager lady checked us in. We went out for the afternoon and evening and she lent my wife her daughters umbrella in case of... More

We did last minute .com and decided on a few days in London. Found this hotel. Perfect location, excellent price. Room 2 was a large double bed room. Very quiet, clean and has lovely back decking area. I am a large lady and did manage the shower , although did keep touching the dial. No problem though. Breakfast was quick,... More

Parkwood at Marble Arch has reasonable prices (for London) and a great location at Marble Arch (near tube and many bus stops, tour bus pickups, and Hyde Park). The breakfast was very good with quick service, including pre-ordering the night before when we were rushed to meet tour buses the following morning - the staff was very helpful! There are... More

Lovley small Hotel in a beautiful victiorian Terraced house in the perfect spot in London oposite Hyde Park and near Marble Arch with easy reach to all important London locations. The private atmosphere is very homely with a superb and helpful service. It is the perfect place for a family holiday in London. Highly recommended.

Have just enjoyed a fantastic return stay at the Parkwood. What a location!! Took a five minute walk to Oxford Street. Stayed in the Harry Potter room through the mysterious door under the staircase. Excellent full English breakfast and very helpful staff. Took advantage of the free Wi-Fi. Looking forward to my next stay.

I was bumped off my flight home from Zurich to Calgary due to visa issues and needed a place for the night that was near the Canadian High Comm. I found this B&B from the internet and booked a single room. The room was basic but met my minimal requirements to put up for the night, at a very reasonable... More

This was our second time at this B & B and were again more than satisfied. It is a quaint beautiful house, I love the atmosphere of the house: A building that could tell a lot from the old days:-) This time we had a triple room on the first floor. It was big enough for all of us, ample... More

The location is right in the heart of the shopping district but across from a park if you're more inclined to relax. It's a 2 min walk to the Underground line which gets you to great transfer points. The rooms are smaller than you would expect in North America but in Europe/Britain it's a good size. Beds were very comfortable... More
