We stayed here again on the nights of 23-25th April 14 inclusive. More great service, close to the centre of this wonderful city. It is not, nor does it claim to be "The Ritz" but it is quiet, clean, friendly and welcoming, topped of by a good breakfast. Excellent value.

First solo trip to London and couldn't have chosen a better Hotel/B&B to stay in. The rooms were great, they had everything you needed in them. The location was fantastic so close to the tube station and being across from Hyde Park was fantastic as you could go across and it was like you weren't in the middle of a... More

We are staying here at present and could not be more satisfied with our choice of accommodation. Having just read the preceding review, I was surprised with the petty criticisms. Sure, the shower is a bit small and the storage space is somewhat limited, but hey, it is not The Ritz and you do get what you pay for Linda.... More

We just enjoyed 5 days in London. The hotel is located on a quiet & safe residential street across from Hyde Park. It is a close walk to Tube & bus stations. The hot English breakfast was great and the wait staff were very pleasant. The WiFi was great. The reception staff were very helpful and attentive to our requests.... More

Thank-you Linda for the nice things you wrote about the Parkwood staff, the location and the breakfasts and we're pleased that you enjoyed your London stay. You have mentioned the small size of the room but you will recall that we wrote to you before you made your booking advising that it was a smaller bedroom but the only one... More

Nice little place just steps away from Hyde Park. The breakfast was great, service very friendly. No elevator, so getting our heavy suitcases up to the 4th floor at the end of a 2-week trip was a challenge. The lobby has limited hours, so make sure you have your front door key with you at all times.

I stayed 16 nights at the Parkwood. Lovely accommodations. Clean rooms, delicious breakfast and so convenient to all of what there is to see in London. Just 1 block from Hyde Park, a perfect place for a respite from the activities of the city. Shopping on Oxford St all within walking distance. The Tube was only 5 minutes away and... More

We were very pleased with the location of this B&B. We felt welcome and secure during the entire stay. We enjoyed the breakfast served by a charming staff who provided excellent service. Although situated right in the middle of busy central London, the hotel is on a quiet street with a picturesque entrance. Everything was clean and as pictured on... More

We stayed 3 nights in May 2014. The locality of this hotel is excellent it was handy to everything, particularly Oxford Street for those who like to shop! The room we booked was a small one, but clean and comfortable and value for money. The staff were really lovely and very accommodating, particularly when we were in a bind when... More

Nice staff, good English breakfast, clean rooms and very the hotel was very centrally situated. The small terrace on 2nd floor was brilliant. We used it a lot in the afternoons. We'll be back soon. Thanks.

The two of us stayed in three different rooms (12, 17 and 8 respectively) for the duration of our 2 week stay. We knew and agreed to this in advance, and we also knew that one of these had a shared bathroom, which I was not looking forward to. Also, for almost our entire stay we were on the third... More
