This is the second time we came here and while the price has gone up 50% in 5 years it is still a good deal. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is good. It is very quiet and near Hyde Park. I love the Manager Gail who makes us feel at home. A good place.

I traveled to the UK alone and stayed here for 3 days while in London. Super accommodating. Clean. Beautiful rooms. Great breakfast. Easy check in/out, even with my inconvenient travel times. Very nice. As a young adult female traveling alone, I felt very safe staying here. They will arrange cars to pick you up from the airport. They held my... More

On a recent trip to the UK, we stayed at the Parkwood Hotel, what a great location, not even a minutes walk to Hyde Park and about 5 minutes to the top of Oxford Street for shopping. Our stays covered a total of 11 nights over 4 different stops, staying in a mix of double and twin rooms some with... More

We stayed several nights in a family room with two double beds. We arrived early and dropped our bags off in reception. The location is excellent, especially for Hyde Park. It takes about 2 minutes to walk into to the park from the front door. Minutes to Oxford Street as well. The weather was very warm when we arrived but... More

We booked a double room at the Marble Arch for a 2 night stay following our flight from Canada in June. Check-in was efficient; the receptionist was friendly and let us keep our bags in the reception room as we were a bit early. Our room was clean but tiny; barely enough room for two of us plus our carry-on... More

I have resided at the Parkwood Hotel for many years, while either on work assignments in London or on holiday. Just in May I spent about two weeks at the hotel. Each visit has been a wonderful living experience. The rooms are well maintained, the staff is so friendly and helpful, and their English breakfast is the best way to... More

We stayed 9 days at the Parkwood in March. We had two twin beds and a bathroom, room was compact and clean and in a very good location for either walking around or hopping on the tube. We had a huge window in our room which made it very bright daytime, but a bit chilly nighttime, we asked for a... More

We stayed on the ground floor (Room 2). We didn't hear other occupants the whole week. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Quick walk to bus stop and the tube station, and across the street from Hyde Park. 30-40 minute walk to Buckingham Palace. Felt very safe walking during the day in all directions. Would stay in this economy hotel again.

It ain't posh .... BUT for the price it is certainly worth a thought. It is very old world inside ( reminds me of staying in my Grandmothers as a child ). It is right beside Marble Arch but in a quiet street. I didn't see any air-conditioning nor a lift so some might have issues. Rooms are small but... More

We were lucky to have a ground floor room (room 2) which was a little larger than most other rooms and at the back so very quiet. Staff were extremely helpful and efficient and very friendly. (Thanks Gail and Mary). Breakfast was excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Parkwood. It is in a great position with trains and... More
