We've stayed at this hotel three times during our weekends to London in the last two years and love it. The rooms are very clean and cosy with beverage facilities, and a great selection served for the breakfast, including fully cooked English with nothing too much trouble to make your stay as comfortable as you would expect. In comparison for... More

Good location near Marble Arch underground. Room very small and a bit worn. Nice big window but impossible to open. Heating placed behind the bed so we could not regulate the temperature. More a B&B than a hotel. 4 stars for location - 2 stars for room.

We checked the window referred to when we read the review and agree with Birgit that it was hard to open. However, we employ a full-time maintenance man for jobs such as this and he was able to easily sort it out straightaway. Birgit stayed in the room for 4 nights and didn’t mention this or her query about the... More

We stayed in the family room. Everything was clean, manager very friendly and accomodating. Dislikes - position (not a lot around), our room on the third floor (no lift) but this was my mistake for not reading the description properly. Our room was extremely warm with little ventilation even with the windows fully opened and the fans on. Very very... More

A very good small hotel, very clean, staff very friendly and seem to want to do everything for you to make your stay enjoyable. Bedroom had ensuite facilities and was very clean and comfortable. Full english breakfast very tatsty and plenty of choice, also no problems if you want any more, just ask. Would have no hesitation in booking again... More

First stay here and given it was a budget room - single ? the Harry Potter suite as described in previous review - I wasn't too sure wgat to expect. But it's actually really okay. Nothing fancy of course, but it was clean, comfortable and simple. Ideal for a short stay and if you're looking for somewhere to sleep. Enough... More

Parkwood is the opposite of a slick chain hotel. It's quirky, very London but comfortable and I loved it. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was comfortable (I was in the Harry Potter room under the stairs … which is much nicer than it sounds but the photo of the door under the stairs is great !)... We recently stayed at the Parkwood Hotel, Marble Arch, and can thoroughly recommend this hotel, as the staff are extremely friendly and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good value for money and served by very polite staff. This hotel is close to all transport links, and getting to all the attractions that London has... More

Cute B&B in London. I was on the top floor (be ready to carry your luggage upstairs)with a comfortable room and shared bath. Basic, clean and very affordable. Great breakfast - people kept telling me the food in London was awful...not here....Hot, full breakfast (cereal and yogurt also available) that kept me into the early afternoon. Helpful staff. Followed directions... More

I spent arounf 10 days in this hotel in September 2013. I really liked it. It is in a classy area near Oxford street (for shopping gurus) and just in front of Marble Arch (one of the entrances to Hyde Park). It is also close to the Underground and bus stations so there should be no problem at all in... More

A great B & B in a terrific spot within walking distance of Oxford Street and Hyde Park. A perfect base for shopping and sightseeing. The room was very clean and comfortable with TV and tea/coffee making facilities, together with an en suite shower room. An excellent full English breakfast is included and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.... More
