Room was tiny but very clean, bathroom seemed fairly new. Very pleasant, family run hotel. They knew everyone's name and provided help with directions and places to go. Very close to paddington but a little far to just go out and walk to tourist sites. They found good buses for me each day to museums, then I took underground back... More

Central London hotels largely fall into two groups. The exorbitantly ‘sheek’ with a level of service often bordering on the obsequious and the economical ‘shabby’ where finding a member of staff requires a search party. Well hidden in a lovely garden square in Paddington is a family run hotel that is in a class all of it’s own. Their own... More

Our twin room was comfortable yet very small. There was noise from the street that kept us awake, the window glass must be thin. The bathroom was small, but clean and adequate. The breakfast was very good and any question or request was answered by the desk staff. The location is perfect if you arrive via Paddington station. It is... More

I stayed in a twin room with ensuite late last year, the rooms themselves are very small, there isnt much room to put anything only to move around to get out of the door, the bathroom is also very small and the shower wasnt very clean at all. There is no lifts in this hotel and i was placed on... More

This bed and breakfast is unbelievable value for money in London. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed here twice, once for two nights to explore the city and then again before our flight. It is very convenient both to explore London as well as to get to Heathrow... More

We stayed there in jan 2014. The rooms were small. But very clean. The breakfast was the best we have had in London. The staff were lovely. It was just a pity there was no tea or coffee in the rooms....

If you're looking for luxury then move on. If you're looking for value and service then read on. This is a fairly typical London conversion hotel. No lift, lots of stairs, quirky rooms and a fair amount of wear (but they are in the process of updating - so this should be mitigated as time goes on.) It was originally... More

We stayed in this hotel between 8th and 9th February. We had a terrible experience and we found it extremely useful for upcoming guests. The room we stayed in was 312 on third floor. On 9th February, our ipad and a professional camera (Nikon DSLR) were stolen while we were out. The thief just got into the room through the... More

Was in London for 4 nights on vacation, and my father insisted on staying in Paddington due to its convenient location. Chose to stay in St. David's based on online reviews and it did not disappoint. Rooms were small but acceptable for the price and location. Breakfast was great, loved the sautéed mushrooms! Staff were friendly and ready to help... More

I stayed at St David's for 2 nights over a weekend in January. The hotel is located in a great, central location, 2 minutes walk from Paddington tube station. The area has restaurants-posh or burger king, newsagents and just round the corner from the hospital where Prince George was born! I had requested a triple bedroom and to our surprise... More
