We are in our 70's and enjoy London, returning at least once a year. This year, George, Foulla and Alex outdid themelves! As always, George's full English breakfasts last most of the afternoon and a cup of tea with a small sandwich is enough until dinner. This family is remarkable with their solicitous attitude and helpfulness. They gave us a... more

Just a few minutes from Paddington station. Perfect if you are going spend your time exploring London and not in the hotelroom. Clean but small rooms. Friendly staff and a really good breakfast. You find nice restaurants and bars nearby. more

We stayed here for 6 nights when we were in London, and I'm so glad we did! The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, always greeting you with a friendly smile and happy to answer any inquiries we had. We stayed in a double bed room on the first floor up, which was clean and tidy, and included a small... more

This is a great place. No bugs! Great staff and an awesome breakfast. Just don't let them charge your credit card in anything but GBP or you will get a 3.5 conversion fee, which is NOT from the card company. They told me it was but it is done at the hotel and on the receipt. more

I spent a few nights there two weeks ago; Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I recommend it for others. pros: - Most of the staff were really helpful and nice. - Good location (especially if you come / go to Heathrow airport, using Heathrow express/connect). Also, there's a bus route from Trafalgar that operates all night long (23,... more

Picked this hotel after reading TripAdvisor's reviews. Location is brilliant, just a few steps from Paddington Train and Tube stations. Not expensive, considering average accommodation costs in London! Rooms are a tad small. Then again, they're all the same in any other B&B, plus you don't go to London to stay in your hotel room the whole day!. They're cozy... more

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the St. Danid's after returning to London from Paris. This is an older B&B. The rooms and bath are small and there is no air conditioning. We were assigned a room on first floor. It was clean and quiet, once you get used to the Underground passing below the hotel. The staff... more

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I arrived in London and had to leave the hotel I stayed at because I didn't find it suitable, and so I was looking in the "Hotel" section of my Frommer's guidebook and it recommended St. David's. I went there and was not disappointed. I stayed here for two weeks and... more

If you are looking for a budget hotel close to everything and with excelllent service then this is a great place. The hotel rooms are old and could do with a paint etc but the rooms are clean and the hotel staff are friendly and extremly helpful. We booked a family room on our first stay located in the basement,... more
