We agree with all the previous reviews. The Lime Tree is a first rate hotel. The location couldn't have been better. Close to Victoria Station and also to the Apollo Victoria, where we saw Wicked. Matt is a great source of information. He suggested using the Sloan Station rather than Victoria Station during peak times. The area around Lime Tree... more

From New York City, recently traveled to London and stayed at the Lime Tree Hotel. The staff was wonderful, the hotel was clean, and I looked forward to breakfast each morning. My room was quite small but cozy. Overall I had a great stay and will go back to the Lime Tree Hotel on future visits. more

I stayed 6 night in this lovely hotel on my way home from a two months stay in Italy. It is a wonderful small hotel with a staff that makes every effort to make your stay perfect. I would recommend this hotel to all - just remember there is not a lift, so if you have trouble with stairs ask... more

The LTH was everything I had expected and more. From the e-mail communication to the perfect location to our cheery greeting late at night by Paul, whose gruff, shy and warm greetings on our return were so appreciated. I do not think that the 97% recommendation rate from TripAdvisor is in any way an exaggeration. There were tourists from abroad,... more

Perfect location, 10 minute walk with luggage from Victoria Train station, perfect if you are coming in on the Gatwick Express. 5 minute walk to the Victoria Bus Station where we caught a tour to Stonehenge and Bath. You are within 5 minutes of a number of good pubs with good food. Free wireless in the rooms worked great. Fairly... more

We really enjoyed staying here for 3 nights. The staff and overall cleanliness was excellent. The location is great, 3 minute walk to Victoria station/tube. My only complaint is that it is overpriced. more

We stayed here for 3 nights in early June 2009. We were on the 3rd floor and there was no lift but only had to carry bag up once, so that was fine. Room was not large but fitted the 3 of us in OK , bathroom small but clean and modern. We were happy with everything as we only... more

We stayed at the Lime Tree Hotel for four nights in June based on a friend's recommendation. We found it to be an excellent central-London base for our trip (mainly shopping, sightseeing and theatre visits), it is reasonably priced compared to other central hotels and has plenty of charm and character - the two houses it is based in are... more

We spent one night at the hotel. The reception staff were wonderful. The room is small, extremely hot, climbed 4 flights of stairs and had the worst sleep of any trip I have been on. The hotel is very overpriced for what you get. If all you want is location go for it. The Hilton Kenningston was cheaper , air... more

We stayed at the Lime Tree for 7 night and had no complaints. We had asked for a larger room since we were staying for such a long time. Our room was very nice and just one flight up. Breakfast was fine and definitely helped cut our costs while we were there. The location is terrific--two tube stations nearby plus... more
