This review is a long time coming. I promised I would write one -- and time has gotten away from me. We stayed there last year during late November and had an absolutely splendid experience. The location is wonderful. We ate at the close by Thomas Cubitt's bistro (at the recommendation of the Lime Tree staff) -- it may have... More

Super comfortable bed, warm and cheerful staff, safe location and an astonishingly delicious full English breakfast -- the perfect charming boutique hotel. We so enjoyed our stay in 2011 that we came back and were not disappointed. We travel a lot and have not found a more agreeable place to stay. The hotel is in a great neighborhood just down... More

Wonderful place......well worth the money. Fabulous location, quaint. We stayed here for four days and from this location we walked all of London. Hotel is located near Buckingham Palace in a posh little area that is right around the corner from Victoria Station.

We spent three nights here on a holiday in late November. I was thrilled with the location, 5 mins walk to Victoria Station which meant we could get just about anywhere quickly. We also walked to Buckingham Palace very quickly as well. The neighborhood seemed very quiet and untouristed, but I'm not sure if that's because we were there mainly... More

This is a charming, small hotel whose staff and location are superb. I stayed in a small room that was not terribly charming but it suited my purposes. Other like size rooms that I saw were configured and furnished better by the way. The staff is super friendly, sincere and knowledgeable, and the location is unbeatable. I would stay there again... Quiet and charming retreat within walking distance of Victoria Train Station, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, and numerous other historic locations. The building and staff are very warm, friendly and helpful. I was traveling through England by myself over the course of two weeks in June and was looking for accommodations that would be more personal than a larger chain, as... More

Such a comfortable (and peaceful) couple of nights, that we have contacted the mattress manufacturer of our bed to get our own! It is difficult to imagine that this classy privately run establishment is only a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of Victoria bus station which however provides excellent public transport links of course, around London and beyond.... November 2014 we stayed here for three nights. It was wonderful; very helpful staff, delicious breakfast, comfy beds, great location between two subway stops. Easy walk to Buckingham Palace. Safe location. Highly recommend it.

Perfect location just a 5 minute walk from Victoria Station / Victoria Coach Station, the hub for all the reliable London transportation you could want or need. This listed building is beautifully and tastefully decorated with wonderful period architectural features. True there is no lift, but staff gladly fetched our luggage up and downstairs for us. The beds are comfortable... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
