We loved the Lime Tree Hotel, as it was centrally located, attractive, and the staff was very helpful. However, it is difficult to manage for people with limited mobility unless one requests a room on the ground floor. Even then there are stairs to get into the hotel. Other than that, the breakfasts were excellent, the room, while small by... More

My friend and I, two females in our mid-twenties, stayed at the Lime tree for 4 nights in January. We loved our experience. First, the location is wonderful. Not only is it close to London Victoria, it is also close enough to all of the tourist areas. The area is quiet, with some very lovely restaurants and shops. It all... More

We enjoyed our stay at The Lime Tree. It is in a great neighborhood close to Victoria train station. Our room was very comfortable (although it was quite a hike up floor flights of stairs, so make sure you ask for a room on a lower floor if you have trouble with stairs). The breakfast was included and very good.... More

I'm a little late in writing this review but we stayed here back in October for a couple of days to see a concert at the Albert Hall. The past reviews exude the friendliness of this place and I can only say that I found the same. More than helpful on a few occcasions. The room although small was perfectly... More

We booked a two week stay at Lime Tree over the Christmas/New Years holiday. The staff was kind and helpful and, along with the owners, went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Very communicative and helpful prior to our arrival as well. Conveniently situated within walking distance of Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station we... More

Perfect stay, extended family in three different rooms. Matt and Laura and the staff very friendly and helpful. Hearty English breakfast saved us money by being able to skip lunch. A perfect stay for us Californians and relatives who came down from Manchester to share the weekend with us.

We stayed at the Lime Tree for 3 nights in November and absolutely loved this hotel! It's a 10-15 minute walk from Victoria Station and several Tube stations, making it easy to reach from the airport and to get around the city. The neighborhood is adorable with shops and cafes nearby, although it felt very quite, especially at night. Even... More

This review is a long time coming. I promised I would write one -- and time has gotten away from me. We stayed there last year during late November and had an absolutely splendid experience. The location is wonderful. We ate at the close by Thomas Cubitt's bistro (at the recommendation of the Lime Tree staff) -- it may have... More

Super comfortable bed, warm and cheerful staff, safe location and an astonishingly delicious full English breakfast -- the perfect charming boutique hotel. We so enjoyed our stay in 2011 that we came back and were not disappointed. We travel a lot and have not found a more agreeable place to stay. The hotel is in a great neighborhood just down... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
