Just a bit too small re: bed and storage; a bit too much street noise; and a bit dated in terms of electrical and technology (the wifi in the room was spotty). Very nice updated bathrooms, good showers. Delicious huge breakfasts, efficiently served. Outstanding staff in terms of welcome, information, assistance, accommodating requests, friendliness, etc, etc etc. In an excellent... More

This was my second visit to the Lime Tree Hotel and it will not be my last. I stayed early October for 3 nights in Room 1, which is where I stayed last time as it is perfect for a solo traveler with little luggage. Since my last stay, the room has been nicely updated. The sink was removed from... More

We took a friends recommendation to stay. It was a great choice. It is central with great access to all of London. Some wonderful pubs and restaurants in close proximity make it even more enjoyable. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The shower being a bit small would be the only negative. Staff are very helpful and can not... More

We also took Rick Steves advice, and he was absolutely right. I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay in London! My husband and I stayed 7 nights in a superior double. We were in room 18, which looked out over the back garden. The room was spacious and supremely comfortable...I can't remember when I've slept so well !... More

I stayed in a superior double for 8 nights. Large and luxurious, clean and well maintained. Breakfasts were delicious; Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent close to transport; shopping etc. The garden is a delightful escape from busy London.I would definitely stay here again.

It seems that everyone that is lucky enough to snag a room at the Lime Tree, has taken the advice of Rick Steves, myself included! Once our reservation was confirmed, I turned to Trip Advisor to make certain I had made the right choice. And I did. This little gem made our 10 days in London a perfect vacation. I... More

My friends & I stayed here for 4 nights and were very impressed! Small, charming, extremely comfortable and in a lovely upscale neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will stay here on my next visit to London and highly recommend this hotel.

We know London is an expensive city and having booked the standard room at 165 pounds, it was, as expected, small. But, we adjusted and it was fine. Our 4th floor room (no elevator) was in the back overlooking their back garden and quiet. The sink was outside the very small bathroom (stall shower and toilet) and this turned out... More

My concern is perhaps not with the hotel so much as the referral. We used a well known travel writer who described the rooms as spacious and well appointed. The standard double room we reserved for 165 pounds was small, cramped and in poor repair. There was no air conditioner or heater other than a fan and a space heater.... More
