My husband and I were touring the UK for 2 weeks and ended our tour in London with a 5 night stay at the Lime Tree. The very beautiful Belgravia neighborhood has many great restaurants and is a good location to visit the Westminster area. A special thanks to the excellently courteous and efficient staff, especially the reception and breakfast... More

We are a family of four and chose to stay here at the recommendation of Rick Steves. We stayed here 3 nights and everyone was very warm and friendly and the breakfast was wonderful, in particular the tasty sausage and warm croissants and rolls in the basket. We saved a small fortune staying here compared to the exorbitant rates charged... More

The Lime Tree Hotel occupies a historic building in the neighborhood of Belgravia, close to Victoria station, hence conveniently located if you arrive in London by bus, and is also central enough to move around by tube. The vibe of the place is old fashioned, semi-vintage, with wooden floors that squeak when you or someone else walk up or down... More

I stayed for a total of 6 nights with a week between my first and final stay. My first room was a single which is fine for someone who needs minimum space and has one suitcase (me!). Second room was a "double" at the attic level with more space and a lot of stairs to climb (which was fine for... More

Was treated to a stay with my daughter for my birthday. It is a very quiet hotel within 10 minutes walk from victoria station. Our twin room was at the top of the hotel so a lot of stairs. It was quite small so it didn't have a wardrobe but it was spotless. The beds were so comfy as were... More

Spent a weekend with my wife at this wonderful hotel. A hotel with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, with serviceminded and helpful staff. We are definitely coming back! From the minute you walk in you feel welcome. Since there is no elevator, you get some free exercise as well running up and down all the stairs. ☺

We were in London with our 14 year old daughter and stayed in a triple room. The location was great with many good restaurants nearby in a very charming neighborhood. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and the room was very clean and comfortable. Plan to stay there again!

This B&B was our costliest but we forged ahead due to reviews, full breakfast and location and could not have been happier. The room, property and breakfast were outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful and truly wanted us to have a good trip. The location is a short walk to everything and saved us a lot of money... More

I loved everything about this hotel :) The proprietors were lovely and helpful, the breakfasts were great. To come home to this quiet neighborhood after a day of sightseeing was wonderful. It has a cafe on one corner, a wine bar next door, and a cupcake bakery across the street. AND it was close to everything. I had the room... More

Very conveniently located in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Comfortable rooms, each with its own bath. I am an early riser, and each morning the dining room staff cheerfully accommodated my request for real coffee that I could take to the garden (rather than the admittedly poor nescafe instant available in the room). Laura and Clare responded quickly to my email... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
