Enjoyed our stay here. Very helpful staff. Room in rear overlooking garden; lots of birds chirping in the AM which we adore. Quiet street, very comfortable bed. Lots of steps with no lift so if that is a problem let them know when making reservation. Staff very obliging in bringing luggage up or down stairs. Will keep your luggage after... More

We stayed for 3 days whilst visiting Chelsea Flower Show. The staff go out of their way to help with anything including lost luggage. The hotel is central and only a 2 minute walk to Victoria Station. The Lime Tree is very clean and comfortable, plenty of toiletries and tea making. We had a lovely double room with gorgeous French... More

We stayed a week based on the TA reviews and the advice of a well known American travel writer from Seattle. Pluses- The location is handy to Victoria station, Sloane Square, and the coach station. Breakfast was fine although they couldn't quite get the hang of bringing things in the preferred order. It was always juice, maybe a tiny brioche,... More

The Limetree, is located in Belgravia, a great location in London. You are within a short "Tube" ride to most of the tourist attractions of London. They have a great staff, Matthew ( owner) is very accommodating and Laura ( from Lativia) is a sweet- heart! She can book any attraction ,that you are interested in. Their breakfast is great, always hot... More

My son and I visited London for a weekend to attend the Capital One Cup final. We wanted a hotel which were easy accessible from a public transport point of view but not in the tourist trap sense. We got all this and more! The service were excellent, the room clean and beautifully furnished and I will definitely return!

While I found both the staff at reception and in the breakfast room to be exceptional at this often recommended hotel, I can't say I share many travelers' take on its charm or comfort. The Lime Tree is indeed well located; I took advantage of the nearby Victoria Coach Station to get to Heathrow and it was a breeze --... More

It's very near to the Victoria coach station, hence we took the coach from Heathrow and in less than 5 mins we arrived at the hotel. As with the other hotels housed in the older buildings this place does not have any lifts. We stayed at the top most floor and the bathroom was tiny. The tiny shower area left... More

We had an excellent stay at the Lime Tree Hotel. The location is very central with easy access to the Tube. Our room overall was spacious (by European standards), comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was the best of any B&B over our 3 weeks in Britain. The staff is very helpful and friendly- they have managed to keep the small,... More

Our family of four (including two children ages 8 and 11) just returned from a wonderful six night stay at the Lime Tree. We stayed in room 13, a family room for four, which overlooked a lovely garden. While not overly spacious, it was quite comfortable, very clean and quiet. We felt very much at home here as the staff... More

I stayed at Lime Tree several years ago and have recommended it to a number of friends in the intervening years so I was beyond pleased that my return visit very much lived up to my expectations. It's a gem in the middle of London - clean, comfortable, affordable, and safe, minutes to the Tube and buses. (It's also just... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
