I just spent seven nights at the Hart House Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay there again. I chose the Hart House after visiting the websites of a number of hotels recommended in the three guidebooks I purchased. (Hart House is recommended by Frommer's.) I could tell that Hart House was a cut above other hotels... More

The hotel was nice, good location, and quiet -- but this is NOT four star. Do people think just because it's London, you should be happy with whatever you get?? I've stayed four star in New York and the hotels there are LEAGUES beyond this. First of all, there was no one to show me to my room or help... More

This hotel is in a great location, a couple minutes walk away from Baker St. underground station / Regents Park. I wanted a clean, comfortable room with my own bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities and that is exactly what I got. The location as I say is fantastic, and the neighbourhood isn't too noisy. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and... More

This was our second visit to Hart House and as before it was a great experience. The staff diserve a special mention - great attention to detail and nothing is too much trouble. The rear facing room was excellent - clean and comfortable. The hotel is about 5-7 mins walk to Baker St tube and there are a number of... More

My daughter and I just spent 4 glorious days in London at the Hart House. It was clean, very conveniently located and our "back of the house" room was quiet as well as spacious. We felft very safe being out at night as well. In all a very good spot - close to transportation, Oxford Street shopping and lots of... More

This was a last minute booking as my regular chosen haunt was too expensive on the week I wanted to travel. I was a bit anxious to stay here; had stayed in a property further up the street earlier this years which was a nightmare experience due to an aggressive Russian security guard/ Receptionist wearing too few clothes and I'm... Cleaning of the room was good but bed sheets changed after we having said them. The breakfast was poor. For example, we want to further instead of ending the cheese the answer was ‘no and that's it.’ All staff was looking us as we finish our questions as soon as possible and disappare from there.

Very recently I stayed here on business for a two night stay as a solo traveller.. This was my second stay. To keep costs down I just book a single room which was good value for London at £100 inc a pretty good breakie. The staff are nice, the place is clean and breakfast is served promptly from a menu... We needed to go to London for 2 nights at short notice. We had booked in advance for the hotel next door (Gloucester Place Hotel) which was horrible so we went to a few hotels on the same street to find an alternative and luckily this guest house had a couple of vacant rooms. The lady on reception was lovely... More

Although we usually stay in Mayfair, we wanted to be closer to a business venue in Marlybone. So we searched and decided to try Hart House. It was just perfect. Our room was large and spiffy. Even though it faced the road, it was not at all noisy. In the room was a wonderful description written by the owner of... More
