Small, very small. Breakfast in the lower basement, expensive but with good service. It is a B&B, not a hotel! But it is clean. Bear in mind that they want cash, or you'll have to pay extra for using your card!

We stayed at this establishment in July 2014. As a B & B the location, service by all staff, cleanness and breakfasts were outstanding. Centrally located Baker Street and Marble Arch tube stations are a few blocks away, Oxford street and Regent Street within 15 minutes walk. We stayed for 2 nights and then came back for 4 nights. They... More

Stayed at this place 20 years ago -- looking for accommodation in London this time round came back as we could not find a centrally located clean well managed place during our research. Many hotels in London have horrible reviews for poor service and marginally clean rooms that charge an in appropriately high fee. We had two rooms on the... More

Very much enjoyed the staff and management at the Hart House Hotel. Beautifully kept and spotless. Nice breakfast room. The hotel was very quiet within but rooms at the front have to deal with traffic day and night. You need to be healthy to take a twin bed room as they are all on the top floor, so pack light!... This hotel has next to no public spaces and the restaurant is also quite small. However our bedroom was surprisingly large, and quiet. Considering that Gloucester Place is a busy thoroughfare we were not at all troubled by noise. The location is convenient, being less than ten minutes from Marble Arch. The breakfast lacked honey and yoghurt which was mildly... More

I just spent seven nights at the Hart House Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay there again. I chose the Hart House after visiting the websites of a number of hotels recommended in the three guidebooks I purchased. (Hart House is recommended by Frommer's.) I could tell that Hart House was a cut above other hotels... More

The hotel was nice, good location, and quiet -- but this is NOT four star. Do people think just because it's London, you should be happy with whatever you get?? I've stayed four star in New York and the hotels there are LEAGUES beyond this. First of all, there was no one to show me to my room or help... More

We are sorry if you were expecting something different when you stayed with us recently. This hotel is in a great location, a couple minutes walk away from Baker St. underground station / Regents Park. I wanted a clean, comfortable room with my own bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities and that is exactly what I got. The location as I say is fantastic, and the neighbourhood isn't too noisy. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and... More

This was our second visit to Hart House and as before it was a great experience. The staff diserve a special mention - great attention to detail and nothing is too much trouble. The rear facing room was excellent - clean and comfortable. The hotel is about 5-7 mins walk to Baker St tube and there are a number of... More

My daughter and I just spent 4 glorious days in London at the Hart House. It was clean, very conveniently located and our "back of the house" room was quiet as well as spacious. We felft very safe being out at night as well. In all a very good spot - close to transportation, Oxford Street shopping and lots of... More
