The place looks like a regular residential building, and you feel yourself like a guest of fmily, not hotel. Reasonable price for such a central location. Clean (though small) rooms equipped with everything needed. Friendly and helpful stuff. I would recommend to stay here solo travellers (both for vacations and busisness purposes).

Stayed for new yrs eve. Other people moaned that the owners wasn't about... but what for? Quite liked the relaxed thing about here's ur keys n ur rooms ready off you pop. Hotel was few mins walk behind selfridges on oxford street. Great for people going to london shopping. The room and bathroom was absolutely immaculate spotless clean. And modern... More

Stayed for 3 nights in early October. The staff was not warm and welcoming. Didn't seem like they knew much about the area. The owner was never around. We had a room one level up and we did carry our bags ourselves. The room was small, bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was modern. The... More

centrally located hotel, very clean and nicely decorated. However, carrying your bags more than 50 steps up a narrow and steep staircase is not my idea of four star comfort. Also, I wonder what kind of a "welcome feeling" the owner expects guests to experience when one of the first informations you get is that there is a charge of... More

The hotel has small, but well appointed rooms and bathrooms. The major drawback is that there is no elevator. We were unable to carry our suitcases up the 53 steps to our room. The front desk manager was kind enough to help us by bringing it up and later down, but it left him breathless with effort 9 the bags... More

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here a few years back, nice B & B type hotel. Easy walk to Baker Street Tube Station which we travelled from with our suitcases (did have help lifting mine up the stairs) on arrival . It was dark so early that we didn't have many late nights and would eat at one... More

I booked a family room at the Hart House Hotel for myself, Hubbie, son (15) and daughter (13), for 2 nights. Hotel itself was a 20min walk from paddington station but you may find it easier on the feet if u take the tube to Baker Street station as it's just a short walk from there! We were greeted at... Spotless and conveniently located. Comfortable bedding. Breakfast was excellent. Very helpful staff and management. Tight spaces but this is a reasonably priced London B&B. Sometimes difficult to book so reserve early if you want to stay here.

I stayed at Hart House Hotel during my overnight stay in London for work (unfortunately not with expenses paid). I booked the hotel due to its close proximity to regents park and Baker Street. The booking and check in were easy and staff polite. The decor is traditional but clean and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised that my single... More

This is an excellent establishment. Yes, it is expensive but so is London. I found it good value for a family of four for London. Location was great, breakfasts were quick, generous and very delicious. Coffee was unnaturally awesome. Service was superb. Rooms were tight but very clean and our window opened to an inner court yard with LOTS of... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
