I had spent a week down in Devon, and decided to meet my son in London. (he's studying abroad in Sweden) I looked and looked for hotels that had decent ratings and that were reasonably priced. We stayed here for 6 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room we had was adequately spacious, very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed a front room overlooking the tree lined street, found it quiet with no street noise. The hotel was clean, tidy and the staff were friendly. the room was comfortable and not a bad size for London. bathroom was fine, had a nice shower. Check for online Internet specials for this well kept and extremely convenient hotel. The breakfast room had everything and the staff there were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel has wi-fi internet but it is not always working and never from the rooms themselves. I liked the cleanliness and the security. A very good value. more

Almost everything was very excellent here. Especially everyone who worked at the hotel. Only a few remarks: 1. The bed in the executive room, could have been 10 cm wider. (But that is how it is in London. Narrow beds.) 2. And the blanket 20 cm wider. 3. Very warm in the breakfast room. more

We stayed for 4 nights in October 2008 and had no problems. Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast cooked to order. Set in a quiet tree lined street close to Paddington station and Hyde park. Very secure as you need your room key to open the outside door. The room we had was big enough and clean enough for anybody.... more
