My wife & I booked and stayed at Caswell Hotel. Below my expectation - room was small, shower floors tiles were loosely & peeling off, more fitting of a B&B Lodging House for backpackers rather that a hotel. Being a safety concious person (am an Ex-Fire Chief), surprise no alternative staircase should any fire arising from lower floors, upstairs occupants... More

You get what you pay for. Hotel is old, small and needs renovation. Beds are extremly uncomfortable. But staff is nice, breakfast ok, you have free Wifi near reception desk and location is great (between Victoria and Pilmico station).

The hotel in general is pretty basic dont expect much. What you can expect is that the location is one of the best that you can find for that price. Breakfast is worth it and i left the hotel pretty full every morning. Also the personel is very helpfull in general. Especially Nury the spanish girl, she was really helpfull... More

I've stayed in many hotels and this by far has to be the worst I've ever stayed in. In fact I wouldn't call this sorry excuse a hotel, more a vile, inhabitable tip. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with a grunt by the assistant, who then asked to me fill in a form which included my... More

I booked the hotel through the late rooms which portrayed black bedspreads and pictures on the wall. When I arrived there the room was of box size and extremely small. I didn't particularly like the decor and felt a little bit more effort could have been made with minimal cost. The pictures on late rooms are very deceiving! My coffee... More

I want to be short: this 'hotel' is okay for one-night-staying (if you don't get the rooms downstairs next to the toilet and the breakfast room). Everything is old and hackneyed, the beds also. So, if you want to stay for a few days in London, I would choose something else..

If you're traveling to London on a budget then I definitely recommend the Caswell. The rooms are small and without many amenities, but you're visiting London, you shouldn't be spending a whole lot of time in the room. The staff is the highlight of the experience at the hotel, so friendly and helpful. A.B. was especially helpful and pleasant. The... More

I have never complained about a hotel in over 20 years of travel but this was the limit. When we opened the door to the family room we'd booked, my heart just sank. The room was stinking, the carpets were disgustingly old and dirty, and the furniture was truly ancient and battered. The two thin curtains differed in length by... More
