We stayed at the Goring for six nights in late January/early February 2016. We arrived with guarded expectations but within minutes the staff exceeded every hope we could have for a hotel. The hotel itself is fresh whilst still reflecting its history. The lobby is efficient, the public areas crisp and clean and our room was textbook for what a... More

I had never been to the Goring until this past week and I'm in love. This wonderfully located hotel close to Victoria oozes elegance from the kerb all the way up to the rooms. Everything is beautiful, the doorman the concierge the staff I could go on but you feel like royalty once you step through the doors. The service... More

Loved it, one of my most favorite hotels in the world and we've seen/stayed in many. From the lovely atmosphere to the way they make you feel, it's the best. The bar service was exceptional, breakfast food and service was impeccable. Thank you for a very memorable anniversary experience.

We were looking for hotel and the Goring was not listed in many of the hotel booking services, but we found a photo of it with a carriage out front and started to search for it. We found it across from Buckingham Palace Mews which made is ideally located for our visit to London. The service was 5 star, all... More

My husband and I stayed at The Goring for five nights right before Christmas as part of a trip to celebrate a "landmark" birthday and anniversary. The hotel was even more lovely with the tasteful Christmas decorations, and we were delighted with the room upgrade we received that made our stay and "special occasion" even more special. The staff were... More

The hotel always provides such warmth and grace. The front of house staff are always so gracious, welcoming and obliging. I had the pleasure of staying in a splendid garden room which was just delightful and so elegant. The ski Bar was just magical and so warm and comfortable.

I loved my four night stay at The Goring. By far, this hotel has some of the most exceptional service I have experience in all my years traveling. The concierge team is fantastic and went above and beyond in trying to secure me theater tickets. The doormen were fantastic, always welcoming with a smile and warm greeting. I honestly cannot... Special treat for a friends birthday. Suberb location and setting. Staff were friendly and attentive and afternoon tea was amazing. Nothing too much trouble and even arranged selection of sandwiches for a fussy eater at short notice.

A wonderful, luxurious, truly English hotel. The building and rooms are to the luxurious standard you'd expect for the price and everything was immaculately kept. The real strength of this hotel is it's staff however. The attention to detail and hospitality is beyond any other hotel I've been to. From arrival, staff knew and greeted you by name, shook your... Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
