This hostel was very bare-bones and you rightfully get what you pay for. The most frustrating thing is paying for a shared room with an en suite bathroom only to have that bathroom out of service with no offer to make reparations for having paid extra for that amenity. There are a number of stairs if you stay on the... More

It has been a great experience! The staff is a group of young people from different parts of the world. They care to give a very good service, being polite, give guidance and they are talkative, very friendly and helpful. You can see that they clean everyday, change the bed sheets every time someone finishes his staying (vacum and more... More

One of the best hostels I've stayed in! The The staff is wonderful, the hostel is clean and the location is spectacular. Right next to Hyde Park and 3 blocks away from the Central, District and Circle lines. Plus they serve a £1 all-you-can-eat breakfasts that's surprisingly varied. The one drawback are the showers. They are clean but, due to... More

I had a fabulous stay at Astor Queensway. The staff are the friendliest bunch of workers I have ever encountered and they are all constantly striving to ensure everyone's stay is the best it can possibly be (not even a 5 star hotel has staff that attentive). Breakfast officially starts at 7:30, however as I was leaving early on my... More

I was looking for a cheap stay in London for a weekend with 3 friends. We booked a private room for four, which was clean and nice. The beds were good compared to other hostels. Wifi was poor (but free), breakfast was nice. The staff threatened us to pay for an extra night as they thought we molested the fire... More

This is the second time I have stayed at an Astor Hostel and will most definitely continue to do so on future visits to London. The facilities are good, kitchen well stocked and everything is always very clean. The variety of food at breakfast is one of the best I've seen at a hostel and the common room is very... More

The hostel is easy to find and about 5 mins walk to the tube and close to the main street. Staff - really friendly! Rooms - decent and clean, breakfast just for £1 (and that goes to charity!) and they have really fun activities in the night for people to meet. I had a good time and will definitely recommend... Stayed at this hostel in the summer. It was such a welcoming fun place to be in! Made heaps of friends during my stay. The hostel staff were super friendly and they provided lots of activities for us to do and recommendations for places to visit. The location of this hostel is amazing right across from Kensington gardens and Hyde... More

Really friendly staff, easy to book, great price! Breakfast was a 50 pence donation to the charity and had a good selection. Great location, around the corner from the Tube and gardens across the road. the room was up a few stairs and very small but the bed was comfy. bathrooms were kept clean. I would go here again
