Nice cheap hostel very close to Hyde Park. A 10 min walk from 2 well situated Tube stations, that's easy to find, and not that long. Also a bus stop nearby. Breakfast included, simple but quite ok. Large kitchen well equiped free of access, very nice. And i loved the commun room, you almost feel at home with sofas and... More

We picked this hostel as an alternative to the cheaper ones and we couldn't have been more satisfied! The staff is great, they are all extremely kind and available to help you. Also, they organize all sorts of crazy activities, so you know you'll never get bored! The rooms are very nice and clean, we were very lucky with our... More

The hostel's location was fantastic, a stones throw away from the North West side of Kensington Gardens and Queensway Tube station. One morning I walked through the park to Trafalgar square and I think it took me about 30 minutes. So the hostel is in quite a central location for general sight seeing and Museum-visiting. The room I stayed in... More

Before booking with Astor Quest I made a wide range search of the well located hostels in London. This one is close to some nice places, and have easy access to bus lines and underground. Also, it was totally worth the price: comfortable bed, not so crowded room, clean rooms and bathrooms, well organized kitchen; all very nice. But if... More

Great place but seemed, during my stay, to attract those looking for housing and jobs rather than backpacking. Loved the atmosphere and the breakfast range-Hot bread and biscuits awesome!. Thanks for a great stay guys

The room I stayed in was filthy. Dust that looked like it had been there since the place first opened. The bin has obviously never been cleaned and there was a dirty tissue and cotton bud down the side of the bed! There aren't enough bathroom and shower facilities. When my room key got stolen in the night while I... More

Stayed here for a week during July 2013. The week was unbelievably hot and the building was not designed to withstand such weather. Therefore it was really difficult to stay in the rooms because the heat was so intense, much hotter than outside. Some rooms received fan although our did not and with 6 people in one small room heat... More

this place definitely makes it as one of my fave hostels. the staff are friendly and helpful with directions, they provided loads of free amenities with just a deposit required, the location is very quiet yet convenient (close to Bayswater & Queensway tube stations), Hyde Park just close by, supermarkets and conveniences within walking distance and there is an excellent... I really liked this hostel, very nice homey atmosphere, easy to meet other travellers, comfy beds, nice staff and in a great area. The bathrooms/showers are a bit small and the tabs only go hot or cold. Beds are made on arrival. Kitchen is good and you can bring your own alcohol in, which is def a plus. I'd def... More
