We were staying in London with a group of four friends. Fortunately, we are really close, that way the tiny room didn't disturb us too much. What really bugged me, though, were the mouldy, mildewy showers! Even thinking about it now I get goosebumps! I was soooooo glad we only stayed two nights in winter where you're not sweaty -... I stayed here two nights and whilst I didn't spend a lot of time in the hostel (I had friends who I was catching up with in London) the experience I did have with staff and other guests was always positive. Regardless of the time of day, staff were always so helpful, they really go above and beyond for their... More

Not entirely sure where to start with this. On my second trip to London I booked a hostel in shoreditch (not going to mention which one) but had a terrible first night experience so the next day I packed my stuff and moved over to Astor Quest/Queensway. I immediately felt at home at Astor, the staff was so friendly, rooms... More

We didn't spend a lot of time in the hostel, because we wanted to see and do so many things in London. However I can say that I enjoyed my stay in the Astor Queensway so much better that in the Generator Hostel (where I spend my trip to London 3 years ago). What I really appreciated were the cleanliness of... This is a very good hostel. The location is great, close to the Kensington Gardens and to two subway stations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have adaptors, lockers, hayrdriers and other things to lend for free. I also could borrow a towel for free. The breakfast is very good, considering it is a hostel, and costs only... More

Stayed here for 2 weeks in July 2014 - incredible location, close to both Queensway and Bayswater tube stations, right across from Hyde Park. Great wifi, great staff, great rooms! Literally the only bad thing was the toilet seat of the toilet on my floor broke one day - but it was fixed quickly! Staff were so helpful, from teaching... More

This is by far the best hostel I have been too! It is in an excellent proximity to both local restaurants and the underground train system, both within 3-4 minute walking distance. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help you with anything that you need and give you any information about the best local places... More

I stayed in Summer and our rooms were extremely warm (despite having a fan running all day). Our room was small too which made it even more hot and all the stairs (to the sixth floor) and luggage made it quite annoying. We were in London on a very hot week but despite that I was very happy with the... More

This hostel is the great deal I've been always looking for, and I finally found it! Great location, great staff, free and fast Wifi and free extras. A lot of other places charge you ridiculous amount for stuff you might have forgot or might not have space for it: not here. You need a towel? A power adaptor? You want... More

Great, great stay! Clean, perfectly located next to Hyde Park with two tube stations at under 5 minutes' walk. Friendly staff and good bread-and-spread/cereal breakfast included plus use of the kitchen (and fridges), luggage storage facilities if you need to store your stuff before checking in/ after checking out, lockable safe boxes at reception under 24h CCTV-surveillance for your valuables,...
