This hostel, which is an all girls hostel is located directly across from borough market! Which is such an amazing market, delicious smells and meals. And only a couple blocks away from the London bridge tube station. It's great location wise but it's quite an old building. The bathrooms/showers are quite old, need serious renovation, poor sleep due to street... More

I was really worried about staying here because of some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised with the room. I stayed one night, the room was nicely decorated and clean- the bed was really comfy! Also, there were fresh flowers and lots of storage space which was really good. There is quiet a bit of noise from the... More

First, this hostel was the noisiest hostel I've ever stayed in. It's on a major street next to a hospital (think ambulances all night long in addition to London traffic) and has single paned windows. The breakfast is ok but nothing more (think toast and Nescafe). To get the keys, check out, get breakfast, or do anything, you have to... More

A good location, but if you want more than just a place to sleep and leave your things, look elsewhere.

The whole area is under construction at present June/ July 2011- it is marketing as the women's hostel- but the street are full of bars and drunken people at night and whole area is under construction- which is very noisy all the time till very late at nigh. The room that I lived is a 8 bed share all the... More

I think that in this part of London we got what we payed for. Small room, reasonably clean, perfect location five minutes from London Bridge Station and tube (great for arrivals from Gatwick airport, perfect for Tate modern, opposite to Borrough market, walkable distance to St Paul´s or Tower). We stayed just one night and for this it was good,... More

So many lies in this place. First, the locations or the rooms are all spread out. Its really hard to find the place. Our room was about 2 blocks away from the common area which had internet, food, the staff etc. There was supposed to be internet in the rooms but there wasn't. The part that we were staying in... I stayed here for a week. I liked that it's next door (basically) to London Bridge tube station. I liked that the rooms were fairly large. Cleanliness was okay as well, but could have been better with the showers. However, breakfast, wireless access, and reception are a 5 -7 minute walk down the street at the main hostel building, which... More

Puke in one of the toilets stayed there for 3 days before being cleaned up. I felt very unsafe walking from the orient to the village (where reception, and breakfast was). Only a microwave and jug at the village, not at the orient. Very badly managed, and staff were below average. One receptionist complained often about an austrian staff member... More
