My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. Unfortunately I booked this hotel through a promotion and I had paid the full-price in advance, otherwise we would definitely check out on the first night. The hotel is a nice and cosy building which can possibly become a nice small hotel. Unfortunately it is anything but a reasonable... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night on my way to Cambridge and chose it mainly based on the perfect location next to King's Cross. The hotel is a bit dated, and the rooms are quite small, but clean. Helpful staff, varied breakfast. Sadly no airconditioner, meaning that it got extremely hot at night. All in all it wasn't... More

Could not give his Hotel a rating it deserved as there is no way to leave an absolutely awful one!!! Arrived here at midnight after our original Hotel had overbooked. Upon arrival we met another couple who had landed here due to the same problem of overbooking. (we had both booked weeks before through laterooms). This is the smallest Hotel... More

Stayed at this hotel for a few days in June, before making my way to Amsterdam. I chose Mabledon Court as it was within my budget, within walking distance to museums and easy access to the tube. I was delightfully surprised to discover that breakfast was inclusive (good breakfast, too) and that I had a daily supply of complimentary Walkers... More

So, I was transported from sister hotel, Arran House Hotel, by cab, in a most undignified and embarrassing manner. The Arran Hotel which I'd booked online apparently had 'overbooked' & I was TOLD, in no uncertain terms that I had to go elsewhere, namely The Mabledon Court, sister hotel. When it sunk in what was happening, I was absolutely furious!... More

I've stayed a few times, it's clean, convenient and quiet enough for me but I wouldn't take my wife. I've only stayed when the rates have been discounted. I like travelling to it via Kings Cross / train, then using the underground for business. It sort of fulfils a single person purpose in a slightly joyless or personal manner.

The location of this Hotel is great, between three of London's major stations, a bit shabby but clean, fine for an overnight stay. The staff on duty were vey nice, friendly and welcoming. As a lone female in London the security in this hotel made me feel quite secure.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
