We stayed recently at the hotel and found it to have pros and cons. Firstly the pros:- Comfortable bed with comfortable pillows and soft duvet and sheets. Great location Nr Euston and underground kings cross stations Good area for eating and drinking and we felt safe Friendly staff working hard, especially the staff at breakfast who did it all in... Spent 3 nights on top floor, single room. Very close to Euston & St Pancras, but no traffic noise. Lift, so OK for oldsters like me. Ample breakfast included. My room not a place for spending time in. But I was there for shows and friends.Whatever others' experience, my room was immaculate. TV, desk, shower, no fridge.Perfect for a short... More

Good location, but absolutely horrible hotel. Looks much better in pictures. It was not my first time in London, but first time in such dirty place. We spend only 2 nights there and couldn’t wait to get out of there. Room was dirty and very small. Breakfast-average. Next time will be more careful and spend more money on better guest... More

Nice location, but absolutely horrible hotel. Tiny and dirty rooms, furnitures in need of urgent replacement. The bathroom was very dirty and only had a closet-like door. Instantly after checking in we had the urge to leave the hotel immediately. It gave us the creeps. Bad breakfast and not enough seatings for all the guests - so come early if... More

Staff were universally lovely and cheerful. By the time I'd been there a day they knew my room and had my key ready as I entered the security door, even though they have nearly 50 rooms and were full when I was there. The cleaner saw I was having trouble with my bags in the elderly lift and rushed to... More

A basic hotel,. If you can see past the paper peeling off the ceiling and the size of the shower it's an average place. Very comfortable bed and breakfast was adequate. Near and handy for the show we came to see and close to other attractions. Staff friendly. Would stay here again..

Awful. Marginally better than a bench. Unfortunately last night that was the only other option, tiny rooms, bathroom soaked the whole room. Ridiculously loud too! Oh all that for the sum of £400.00!!!! The guy on the front desk was great tho!

The hotel is budget but the rooms are so small that one person has to sit on the bed so the other person can move around the room. The double bed is pushed up against the wall. The bathroom was not of a high standard. It was also extremely hot with the window closed but sooo noisy with it open.... More

I like to think I am balanced in my reviews and did read other posts before my visit so I was not expecting too much! The route from the reception to my room on the first floor confirmed my concerns, it clearly needs an upgrade as the wallpaper was worn and needed replacing. A floorboard on the landing also needs... I found this hotel to be better than I expected having read some of the previous reviews. I was in a single room in the 5th floor and found the room perfectly adequate for my needs. I was particularly surprised to be provided with a fan. The room was spotlessly clean though the shower could be rather small for someone... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
