The room was small but very clean and comfortable with the air conditioning. Breakfast was amazing, which was served across the road, in the sister hotel. Select if food was huge and staff very friendly.

We paid £90 for a double deluxe room with breakfast which in London prices, I thought was goof value. I thought the room was quite small for a deluxe room and there was a railway running at the back which was very busy. Although it says free wifi it didn't work. Hardly any signal and couldn't log on to anything.... More

Booked this hotel thinking wrongly that it was part of the Premier Inn chain, booked a deluxe single room, I'd hate to see what the basic single room is like if this was the deluxe version. Huge floor to ceiling windows that didn't shut so had a huge iron bar over them that if you had the strength you could... More

Stayed at the place with my parents and we booked for two double rooms. However, when we entered the rooms, we realised it was too small as my father is on the large side. When we requested for a change of rooms, the manager on duty (Jinal) was very helpful and courteous. We were then upgraded to a club room... More

After reading some of the previous reviews we were very nervous about what we had let ourselves in for. We were in fact pleasantly surprised. Our room was on the first floor and although it wasn't huge, it was lovely and very clean. The bathroom was tiny but when you're only there for a couple of nights, was perfectly acceptable.... More

London Municipality must cancel the working permissions of the hotels with really small "Victorian" rooms in which you cannot move. London Premier Kensington was one of those hotels. In addition, due to the wrong restoration policy, windows cannot be opened for fresh air. But its location to perfect underground system is excelent.

We stayed here for two nights from July 16th-18th 2015. It was booked via booking.com and some photos on that site. No research was done and THEN I saw the reviews on here and panicked. It really isn't THAT bad. It's in a perfect location. Literally 3/4minute walk from Earls Court tube station. Lovely building. Staff friendly and helpful. Room... More

The hotel is misrepresented and oversold itself. I was booked into a Delux single room. It was so small and narrow that I could hardly turn around, never mind place a suitcase. The room was ‘upgraded’ to a double which was just as bad. Rooms are tiny, dirty, and smelly with missing skirting boards. There was no duvet in my... More

Stayed here after seeing Ed Sheeran at Wembley...we had limited options of hotels but thought that this one seemed ok. Rooms were very small (you couldn't open the bathroom door fully as the bed was in the way) and the beds seemed to dip in the middle, the shower was poor with no pressure and I'm not really sure what... After asking for a room on an upper floor that does not overlook the tube lines and that is not in the basement, near the lifts or the lobby, I got just that. A room in the basement next to a fire door and close to the lifts. On the upside it was a big single room that was not... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
