I stayed at the London Premier Kensington for two nights. I arrived around 10am in the morning and as I expected, the room wasn't ready but the staff were friendly and they let me check in and leave my bags there for the day. I got back to the hotel at around 7pm that evening and was given room 101... More

A last minute booking and what value! A fantastic little hotel- with a larger Sister hotel opposite, where you have breakfast! I honestly can say I have not had such attentive, courteous service in this country in a long while! Yes the room was small as was the lift, but it was clean and tidy- with coffee and tea making... It's an OK location if you want to stay in that area - near Earl's Court station. Otherwise do not stay there. I had asked for a quiet room on a top floor away from lifts. They gave me a room facing the train track. Noisy until 1.30 am and again from 5.00am. I asked to move. Admittedly they moved... More

The rooms are very small, dated and dark, I almost felt like Harry Potter living under the stairs. Unfortunately this was not the main problem... The rooms in this hotel are less than 10 meters away from the District/Circle line. Not only are the trains that run past loud and frequent, but they run nearly 20 hours a day. The... More

Nice location; walking distance from the Kensington tube station. This hotel actually is spread ed in few different buildings. Though the room size was small but overall nice with clean bathroom; all basic amenities and responsive staff. The staff was particularly good with an intent of help & support.

You cannot fault the staff here. Very professional, helpful and friendly. The room was nicely decorated, clean and immaculate. It was small but this is London, so to be expected. Proximity to the tube station is also a bonus..... However...... I did not expect to have the district line tubes running right outside the window. They run till well past... More

Well what a great break we have had, i chose this hotel on the Hogarth road for its reviews and proximity to Earl's Court Underground. I have to say i have stayed in a few hotels in my time and apart from the Hilton in Sheffield this was the best place i have stayed in. I booked the hotel for... More

We've booked in the hotel for one week, nice located hotel, very close to a big station, lots of buses around, big varieties of restaurants and supermarkets, walking distance from a long shopping street, amazingly wormed rooms, very friendly crow, easy check in, easy to communicate with, the breakfast is in another hotel just across the street but that is... Location is very good as it's near to Earls court metro station ,staff is not helpful , room size was big and bed was really very nice.AC is horrible, It's not expensive comparing to other hotels in Kensington but don't expect more than nice place for sleep only .

I made a reservation here by mistake, thinking it was a "Premier Inn." Imagine my horror when I realized my error after paying with my credit card points and reading the Trip Advisor Reviews. But as I only needed it for 1 night, and it was free (because of the CC points) I figured I'd be a trooper about it... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
