You cannot fault the staff here. Very professional, helpful and friendly. The room was nicely decorated, clean and immaculate. It was small but this is London, so to be expected. Proximity to the tube station is also a bonus..... However...... I did not expect to have the district line tubes running right outside the window. They run till well past... More

Well what a great break we have had, i chose this hotel on the Hogarth road for its reviews and proximity to Earl's Court Underground. I have to say i have stayed in a few hotels in my time and apart from the Hilton in Sheffield this was the best place i have stayed in. I booked the hotel for... More

We've booked in the hotel for one week, nice located hotel, very close to a big station, lots of buses around, big varieties of restaurants and supermarkets, walking distance from a long shopping street, amazingly wormed rooms, very friendly crow, easy check in, easy to communicate with, the breakfast is in another hotel just across the street but that is... Location is very good as it's near to Earls court metro station ,staff is not helpful , room size was big and bed was really very nice.AC is horrible, It's not expensive comparing to other hotels in Kensington but don't expect more than nice place for sleep only .

I made a reservation here by mistake, thinking it was a "Premier Inn." Imagine my horror when I realized my error after paying with my credit card points and reading the Trip Advisor Reviews. But as I only needed it for 1 night, and it was free (because of the CC points) I figured I'd be a trooper about it... More

Stayed here the other day with a friend for a place to stay after a night out on the town and thought that this was exceptional for the money. Perfect location - 2 mins walk to Earls Court. You can't deny that the rooms are small (especially the bathroom) but the cleanliness was to a high standard and the staff... More

I picked this hotel as from the pictures it looked like a lovely hotel, close to the station and good value for money. However upon arrival I get told that I've been upgraded. Great I thought. However it was not to a room in the same building. It was a room in another hotel along the road. When I get... More

This is the 5th time I've stayed at this hotel. It's incredibly convenient, being 1 minute walk from earls court (district & Piccadilly lines). The rooms are compact- a polite description for cramped/tiny, but if you're on your own and only sleeping here, I don't think that's a big deal. Plenty of wardrobe space for a few days stay, likewise... More

We read trip advisor before we stayed here and were horrified. We found the staff to be great. Printing us directions and booking taxis. It is welcoming and modern, however- we had one of the larger rooms and the bathroom door would open not even half way. But we accept this is Central London and you have to accept that.... More

Firstly, the hotel itself was really nice. The room was lovely and on a high floor which prevented the noise mentioned in previous reviews. It was my boyfriend's 30th birthday during the 2 nights that we stayed. I had contacted the hotel prior to the stay to enquire about wine and balloons etc in the room. The hotel manager replied... Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
