I have always used trip advisor to read reviews but never write them. This time I am so passionate about my definitely way below 5 star experience at the Grange Hotel in Holborn, I thought I would share a word of warning with people who are looking to stay in this hotel. Let me list the ways in which I... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night as part of a hen weekend package deal. We arrived very early and although our room was not ready ( they did check in case it was ) they let us check our bags in so we didn,t have to Carry them around London. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was... The hotel is in a great location, very near the Underground. The hotel is well kept, room was spacious and pleasant - the only complaint we had was the placement of the television. There was a support column in the room that obstructed the view. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. A very nice continental breakfast was included in our... More

Last Sunday, late in the afternoon, I found myself stranded in central London owing to a booking elsewhere having gone awry. I saw the Grange Holborn from across the street and presented myself, suitcase in hand, jetlagged and more than a little worried by the situation, at the desk. On the spot the desk staff arranged a room for the... More

Having stayed at the Grange Holborn quite a few times before we decided to book again and was not disappointed. After and initial confusion with our booking the hotel staff cleared it up and then upgraded us for the inconvenience. This hotel is near everything, either walk or tube, we only had one taxi ride in our 3 day stay.... More

We stayed for one night in this hotel. The room was a reasonable size and nicely decorated with heavy curtains which kept the light out at night. The air conditioning needed servicing and was quite noisy. The bathroom was awkward to get into as it was small . Aside from this the room was quiet because it was in the... More

The location of this hotel is its best attribute. It’s within walking distance to many key sites (e.g. British Museum and National Gallery) and areas of interest (Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford and Regent Streets) and a Tube station is close by. The hotel is very clean but it needs some refurbishing; I agree with the comments many others have... More

This was booked as a secret hotel deal a surprise. We stayed one night. I though the room was a good size for central London. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The shower pressure excellent. The wifi worked fine. The hotel is minutes walk from the tube station so you can get anywhere easily and there was... More

Yes, the pool furniture was out-dated and the lighting is dark and a bit gloomy, but the pool itself is one of the largest indoor pools I've ever seen in a hotel, with the exception of the Gellert baths in Budapest. Not too many chemicals, not too warm, and you can actually swim decent laps. The staff of the hotel... More

On arrival the concierge were too busy talking amongst themselves to open the door or assist us in from the rain. We struggled in with our cases and it was then they offered to help - which we declined, as it was too late. The reception staff were helpful and polite and we were ahead of time and a couple...
