We stayed at the Grange hotel for a bridal party. The location of the hotel is very central and only a few minutes walk from Holborn station. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the rooms were very nice but not really what I would say is 5 star. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety... More

I took my wife away for her birthday for what I thought was a 5 star hotel, when we arrived we had a nice greeting from the concierge who then told us we could park in the preferred car park round the corner at reduced rates, to late we had already booked and paid for a NCP which cost a... More

We stayed having booked through lastminute.com choosing the secret hotel. Having read some of the reviews on here we were a little concerned about what we would find. What we did find was a hotel in a fantastic location with 5 star staff. Some parts of the hotel are a little dated compared to other 5 star hotels in central... More

Location is perfect, right by Holborn tube and easy walking to Theatre land. Pool and Spa is just what you need - kids were very welcome (there are special times so make sure you check those). They even invited us to use the pool the afternoon we checked out (which we did as the weather was awful!). Very welcoming, could... More

Stayed here a couple of times now just a 15 minute walk to Covent Garden and Leicester Square. Fabulous rooms friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool is nearly full size and nice area to relax after a busy day sightseeing with sauna and steam room. Worth contacting the hotel for any offers.

4th floor room adequate but had a strange smell and overlooked building next door which was very close - no view. Had to wait 25 minutes for a sandwich ordered on room service and then received a phone call to say I had to pay for it in cash as no credit card had been left at reception. However, when... More

I'm going to try to be subjective and positive where possible. I found all the staff to be polite, friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided offered a good selection and the coffee was spot on. For this reason I have awarded the hotel 3 stars. The hotel is very popular with overseas guests, especially Japanese, Americans and Canadians. The... More

The outside of the hotel is modern and looks like the images on booking.com. The room is old fashioned. The carpet in and outside the room looks old and worn. Not exactly what i had exp cted. The bed is best to be slept in in the middle as it is saggy on the sides. Twice the air con did... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
