Fantastic, great service, staff were friendly, clean and good simple breakfast , would definately use again. Good value too, room 23, close to station and seeing billy Elliot, can't praise enough, on arrival to when we left , free parking as well. Good amenities nearby and close to Victoria

My husband and I have just spend 5 nights at the Dover hotel which is very confidently close to Victoria train station. Breakfast not too bad but nothing special. Our biggest problem was the bedroom which was far too small to accommodate two people, even the double bed is smaller than a normal one. There are no lifts but we... More

I stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. It is really close to victoria coach station/rail station if you visit by these means. Just 5 mins by foot. The room (with two single beds) was clean, the temperature was right as they had the heating on all night but there was a little noise at early hours as it's facing... More

The hotel is very close to the Victoria Station, which makes it very convenient. The breakfast was okay and there was free wifi, but the building seems to be very old and there is no elevator. The room was okay, no big deals, but i've been in cleaner places. The area is full of other budget hotels, and if I... More

Originally booked a room for 3 of us but only 2 stayed, only negative I would say is that 3 of us would have been a squeeze when getting ready for a night out. Very clean, staff all very friendly & welcoming. Certainly value for money. The couple staying in the room above us definitely enjoyed their stay from what... More

After some of the negative reviews on here I was somewhat apprehensive about my stay last week. Well I can say that I had a very good experience at the Dover Hotel. Yes the rooms aren't the biggest you will stay in but in my twin room there was enough space and beds were comfy. The en suite bathroom with... More

There's nothing awful that I can say about this hotel, but then there's nothing good. In my opinion this hotel is below par for what you pay for. The room I had was small, noisy, and the bathroom was tiny. The TV remote is attached to the wall so you can't use it more than 1ft on it's cable. And... More

We thank you for taking the time to write a review and highlighting our strong points. We will take in to account the other points and will implement the necessary changes. We have different types of rooms and it is impossible to allocate exactly the same room to every one in the Central London Victorian buildings. On a positive note... More

I booked this after a stressful day in Manchester. Arrived after 11, very tired, to find that i'd booked for 2 adults. The receptionist was very friendly but couldn't change anything as i'd booked the last room. It was up 3 flights of steep stairs and not good for asthmatics or people with arthritis. The room was spick and span... More

We stayed for 4 nights. We didn't expect a lot because of the price but even though the room wasn't very big it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was good. It was clean and freshly smelling. Service was friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Near to Victoria Station (about 5 minutes by feet). Breakfast was a little disappointing but you... More

Nice hotel, clean room and bathroom. Friendly services. We spend 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is very close to VIctoria station from wich you can explore Londen very easy taken a hop on-hop off bus or with the tube.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
