We've stayed at the Euro numerous times. It is a basic but handily located hotel. Situated in Cartwright Gardens, it has a leafy green outlook over Bloomsbury. It is walking distance to two tube stations, and shops, restaurants are all around the corner. The rooms are a reasonable size (for London) and are fairly well appointed. Wifi is free and... More

The location was excellent. The hotel is in a beautiful small crescent of hotels not far from Tavistock Square. Our room was spotlessly clean. It was mid-July, so very hot, and, since the windows only opened about 8", an electric fan was provided in the room. Tea and coffee facilities were also provided (though a small packet a biscuits would... More

A simple basic hotel with tiny single room, a broken fan, no air conditioning, no lift so a long trek to the third floor. Staff is ok, but would not return again here, there are better places to stay even at relatively reasonable for London rates

The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our three rooms were small, but adequate. Unfortunately, we were there on a hot day, and the fans were only a bit helpful for sleeping. The hotel is in a row of townhomes within walking distance of transportation, restaurants and shopping. A bit off the beaten path, that is what makes it... More

Nice hotel for a reasonable price on perfect location. Good, clean room with wifi and on my room on the 3rd floor, not much 'city noise'. The breakfast was ok. A cappuchino machine would be nice. Definitly recommandable for both bussiness trip and site seeing.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was a little tight for the five of us, but very manageable. The breakfast was fantastic and a great way to start our day!! Very clean and very comfortable. Evenings were spent just down the street at the Shepherd Neame pub! Great English beers and fantastic pub food. Will... More

We stayed here on our last night in London. It was a nice combination of a traditional hotel and a B&B. We had a quad room with 1 queen and 2 twin beds. It was comfortable, decent sized, and clean. It was a little noisy because we had to keep the window open due to the warm weather and we... More

I went to london on the 4th of July to see Memphis in the afternoon at the Shaftesbury and Gypsy at the Savoy Theatre in the evening. After been given directions I arrived at The Euro Hotel, I had arrived early so could not check in till 1pm. I decided to go and pick up my tickets at the theatres.... More

We regret that you were unhappy with your stay although you seem to have a good time generally. You chose to stay in one of our budget basic rooms with shared facilities. Our website and that of Expedia through whom you booked make it clear that the hotel has no lift and you did not request a room on a... More

A nice little hotel within 5 minutes walk of 3 tube stations to get you to the heart of the city, spacious room with usual facilities, no restaurant or bar facilities but a nice comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff, great place to use as a base to explore the capital.

We are traveling with our 2 teenage daughters and it was hard to find rooms with enough beds. What do British and European families do with their children? Anyway, this rare quad room worked well for us. One full bed and two twin beds with a small but adequate attached bathroom. Cons: London is expensive and the dollar to pound... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
