Stayed here with a friend and we were so impressed. Clean, fresh, modern and so welcoming. We arrived in the morning -way before check in time and as naturally our room wasn't ready so early, they were perfectly happy for us leaving our luggage while we headed out for the day. And when we retuned it had been taken up... More

Very convenient location betweeen Kings Cross/St Pancras and British Museum. Easily walkable with overnight case. Warm welcome - I arived in the morning, left my case and then walked to British Museum for a terrific 2 hour audio tour! Returned for check-in -efficient and welcoming. Ground floor room - large enough, opening (and lockable) window, very clean and light en... More

Our family of 4 stayed in the Superior Quad room for 4 nights. The rooms are basic and clean although the room felt a bit run down and was quite overheated. Even with us adjusting the thermostat, the room remained far too hot for a comfortable night's sleep. Not sure if there is a problem with the flooring but the... More

A short walk from London Euston station, this motel was one of the cheapest we could find in the London area. We booked 2 rooms, one for my family (2 adults and 2 children) and 1 for my parents (2 adults). Both rooms were clean and tidy and contained an ensuite. Our family room was located in the basement area... More

Unfortunately our recent stay was marred by very rude, unhelpful, obnoxious receptionist. We had stayed two nights and found the hotel clean, and a good location, however on returning home I had to call the hotel to find out wether an item that was missing from my suitcase ( from left luggage) was found. On enquiring to speak to the... More

I am sorry not to have responded to you earlier but since you left the hotel two days ago I have been checking through the extensive CCTV coverage we have of the reception area to see whether anyone had actually tampered with your baggage as you suspected. I can see absolutely no sign of this. I sincerely regret any perceived... More

Booked this hotel via hotels.com. About a 5 minute walk from Euston station, in a very pleasant, quite crescent. Arrived too early to book in, but were able to leave our cases. Room was clean and comfortable with en- suite facilities and tea/coffe making facilites. Booking in was efficient and good sleep quality due to the quiet location. Also able... More

Clear Room situated in a quiet area with walking distance to King's Cross, Euston and Russell Square station. I arrived 20 min earlier than the reception opening time, I was UNWELCOME from her facial expression though she let me in and settle my luggage.

Although our reception opens officially at 7a.m. staff are on duty from 6.30 and we are sorry that you found the welcome less than you had expected. The receptionist on duty was surprised to get an arrival before dawn but I am glad that we were able to store your luggage for you until our 1 p.m. check in time... More

Slowly working my way through all the hotels on Cartwright Gardens. The Euro Hotel isn't going to win. The bed felt like one's head was lower than one's feet. Even with the window wide open on a cold night the room was too hot. Breakfast was the decider. We arrived at 9:02 to be told breakfast was finished. At £132... More

Thank you for your review of your stay. We are surprised that you could not regulate the heating in your room as all of the rooms have thermostats and all the rooms have windows which open for ventilation. We have checked the room in which you stayed and all seems to be functioning correctly. We serve continental breakfast from 7... More

1. Extremely over-priced 2. Small room, bathroom in one corner and the sink in the other 3. Beds were tiny and as the wooden floor was sunken down the beds were tilted so you felt like falling over 4. Noisy, you can hear the water running down the pipes day and night, and the floors are squeaky 5. The heating... More

I am sorry that unlike many hundreds of other Tripadivsor reviewers who have rated our hotel as Excellent or Very Good you were not happy with the facilities that we offer. I understand that the staff did offer you an alternative room after you expressed discontent with the room in which you stayed on the first night. I do hope... More

We booked this hotel because of its close proximity to King’s Cross, though if you want to use the tube, Russell Square is closer. The staff were very polite and helpful with a very easy check in and check out process. Our room was on the small side, but perfectly adequate for the two of us. The en-suite bathroom was... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
