My Parents in-law stayed here in the early 70s for there Honeymoon. It looks like it's not been updated since. For what they're charging I'm not asking for World Class facicilites, but this should be a £40 to £50 per night hotel not a a £110+. Needs an update or to seriously drop their prices!

We've stopped at the Tavistock Hotel a number of times and have never had reason to complain. For just over £100 per night for a double room you get a hotel walkable from St. Pancras Station and Covent Garden, and literally five minutes stroll from a number of tube stations. The rooms are functional but clean and with comfortable beds.... More

I booked two nights B&B, with dinner included free of charge on the first night as I was in London for a conference. I managed to change the dinner until the second night which was great, as I wasn't able to arrive until about 10pm. The room was very basic, and the toilet could have done with a clean....but the... Close to Euston Station, even closer to Russell Square Tube and walking distance to Covent Garden - this is a good location for a visit to London. Our room had been redecorated in the last 12 months and was a lot cleaner than other reviewers appear to have experienced. We had a corner room with one window overlooking Tavistock Square... More

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. It is centrally located a 15 minute walk from Euston Station next to Tavistock square and 5 mins away from Russell Square Tube station. Beneath the hotel is a bowling alley which is great. The hotel has a bar and Jacques Wine bar which the public can access. In the winter... More

This was a very pleasant, clean and tidy budget hotel in Bloomsbury. Food is good, room is a decent size and clean. The only, little, niggle, is that there is no shampoo supplied for the bathroom. Otherwise, a good choice of hotel.

Room was fine, comfortable and clean. Breakfast could be a little bit more adventurous. Brown Bread/toast perhaps. Filter Coffee was grim, but was here for work so could have no complaints, Lot of contractors using the hotel so breakfast lounge was quite full.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
