The welcome we received from the staff was excellent even though we booked in when they were very busy. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Only two minor moans. The room was very hot even with the window open as the room did not have air con. The other minor irritant was the toilet door that slammed... More

Stayed here for two nights to celebrate Hubby's 60th birthday. Booked on line but did not check in or book meal deal on line.On arrival we were met by friendly staff who did all the checking in for us and booked a table for our evening meal .We booked the meal deal to save spending time looking for somewhere to... The consistency of this Premier Inn is excellent, from the cheerful, helpful welcome to the spotlessly clean room. This is our third annual stay; it will not be our last, This Premier Inn is so well placed for seeing the sights of London. We were able to walk to Westminster Abbey as well as The Shard. We were helped on... More

This was our third stay at this excellently positioned London hotel and we were just as happy as the first. Rooms are pleasant and clean, service was keen and polite. Beds are a joy and breakfast fuels you for the day. Shops and cafes are conveniently across the road. We continue to be comfortable and happy here!

We were using up one of my free Premier-Inn "Great Night Giveaway" stays, and credit to PI for not excluding this very, central London hotel. Not too much to say about the hotel, other than it ticked all the usual PI boxes, of comfort and excellent service. In fact the family room was probably the biggest that we have ever... More

From my email before arrival to checking out this morning the staff are so helpful. A particular mention for Elisha who was engaging, polite and super efficient. The whole meet and greet team were always there to assist, extra milk, storing our luggage or just passing the time of day. The room was large and had everything we needed for... More

Recently stayed here while on business in London. First time staying at this premier inn though have stayed at a few others. Excellent service as usual, beds excellent and the usual fab breakfast. Location is superb right by the London eye and 3 mins walk to waterloo tube station. Only slight drawback is drone from air conditioner unit somewhere within... More

Stayed again for two nights at County Hall. Great position. Friendly staff. Clean & fresh room. Excellent breakfast. A great base for our London trip. As its a large hotel it's wise to get to breakfast before 9 to avoid queuing. Staff advised us so it was useful.

This is our 2nd stay at the county hall premier inn, we checked in online so just needed to pick up key at reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well kept, and the double glazing keep out 99% of the noise from outside had a fantastic 2 nights sleep. We had breakfast on both mornings... More

Excellent location by the London Eye, brilliant value for money for a central hotel. Remarkably it was quiet in the hotel room - we were on the 6th floor. Staff at Reception and breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful. We intend staying there again.

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
