What your paying for here is location . It is by Westminster, Waterloo and Southwark by the river. It is a good medium priced family hotel in Central London with a great breakfast and great beds. It is not charming or fashionable -it is a chain.Considering the ridiculous hotel prices during peak season in London, this was a good value for us.

We had 3 nights there recently. It's a budget hotel in a fantastic location and you can't complain. Breakfast is good and good value. Kids eat breakfast for free. The major problem is the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. It's actually ridiculous in this day and age. I thought I was going to pass out on one occasion.... More

Though the hotel is well-staffed and clean, our two rooms on the 5th floor were stifling. Granted, it was pretty hot outside (80 degrees), but our rooms were hotter (even with two fans each). The lack of ability to open the windows more than a few inches (for safety reasons?) make the rooms sauna-like. At $500 a night (for both... More

Positives: Good location. Staff do theur best to be helpful in trying circumstances. Negatives: Everything! is an extra charge. Rooms are extremely stuffy. No air-conditioning. WIndows barely open. No sheets! unless you ask for them. Doors bang - it is impossible to close the bathroom doors quietly. 30 minutes a day free wifi and no free wifi even in the... More

We're just home from a trip to London and a stay at this hotel, and we couldn't have been happier with the stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and were always available when needed. They always went the extra mile to keep guests happy. For example, guests were invited to request a light sheet or a jug of ice water... More

Location! Location! Location! This was my first visit to London. A friend suggested this hotel and I am glad I followed his advise! Not a upscale place but very clean and reasonably priced. It is walking distance to most tourist attractions and has easy access to public transportation. Breakfast was an additional charge but worth every penny! No air conditioner... More

We stayed in this Premier Inn last week. It is right on the South bank - we could see the London Eye from our bedroom window. We were able to walk across bridges to Covent Garden in 25 minutes and Westminster Abbey in less than 20 minutes. The price was okay given the location and a Starbucks was located across... More

Given that we paid almost £200 per night for a room only, this hotel only really makes the OK level. Check in area and the process was disorganised, although check out was very swift. The location is excellent - just by the London Eye, and very close to Westminster. There is no Air Con in the rooms but there was... More

We've just had an overnight stop at this superbly placed hotel. If you want to be in the centre of things for the day and night then you can't do much better than this. I booked one month ago for a saver rate of £79. The reception welcome is first class at all times, free luggage storage after checkout (although... More
