As I know the north side of Hyde park a little bit, I was positvely astonished by this hotel: nice rooms in a good state, not too loud an enviroment and next to the underground and train(Lancaster gate and Paddington station at 250 m). The rooms are with twin beds and we slept very well. The breakfast is continental (with... More

If you've read the description, then you know the hotel is listed as "3 Star." But, let me tell you: this is the best "5 thumbs up" 3 star hotel I've ever seen. Clean Safe Polite VALUE++++ Great breakfast included The coffee is good. Really. The eggs peeled with ease (somebody is reading the write-ups!) The rooms are a nice... More

we recently stayed here for the third time and it is as good as ever. Great location, extremely clean and well maintained, and a very good continental breakfast. Each time we've stayed here we've had problems with the hard boiled eggs at breakfast! It's always really difficult to remove the shell and membrane - this really is the only negative... More

Nice little hotel in a great location. Cafes & decent restaurants in the vicinity. Lancaster Gate and Queensway tube stations within a 10 mins stroll. Great eats around Queensway area. Hyde Park's Italian Gardens a stroll away. It is not far to go across the park to Kensington High street n Knightsbridge. If breakfast could be served before 7 am... More

Another return visit to this good value hotel. The price you pay is great value for London and the hotel constantly delivers what it says it will, this is a no frills hotel but it is not basic, you get all you want safe clean room with a bath, towels and TV and a continental breakfast. You may find better... More

Spent a few days at this hotel in November. I have stayed here a number of times over the past few years, and have always enjoyed my stay. The location is very food, in walking distance of Paddington Station, and close to a number of pubs and restaurants. I have always found the hotel clean and comfortable, and the staff... More

I'm a regular customer here now because for me it represents the best budget deal in London. It's always spotless and has all the facilities of a proper hotel including two lifts. Just remember to bring some shower gel or shampoo if you need it; soap is provided, as are towels. The hotel rooms all have twin beds with en-suite... More

I stayed three weeks mainly in the Youth Wing but sometimes in the Hotel as I'd just moved to London and was trying to find permanent accommodation. Since I hadn't found any thing suitable and my booking was running out, i asked if they could find room for me for another week or so. The staff were great they went... More

We (2 adults and 1 child) stayed here for 3 nights. There rooms are clean with a wall-mounted t.v. They have 2 single beds normally but we requested an extra bed for our daughter (8). This was our only quibble - the rooms are not designed to take an extra bed and as a result her bed ran at right... More

This continues to offer some of the best valued accommodation in central London. While the breakfast buffet does not change much, it is still ideal for providing fuel to cope with the English capital. Staff are helpful and friendly. Many have been there for several years. Very convenient location. Rooms at the back are quieter.
