Clean, efficient, and well-run hotel that is an absolute bargain for its Bayswater location in London. The Wifi was very unstable, but rest of the experience was excellent. Great pub and cafe across the street.

We stayed here after the Libertines gig at Hyde Park - so nice to be able to walk back to our accommodation and avoid the mad rush at the end of the gig. Hotel was clean and just what was needed, nice staff when we arrived too. Didn't go for breakfast as we had an early train to catch. Will... More

I stayed at this Hotel on our recent visit to London in May 2014. The rooms are very small but cosy to say the least. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was very English and tasty. there was lots to choose from and if inclined you could have a little extra. It is very close to... More

So I was attempting to travel to London on short notice, and meant that I had to book a hotel for the night. The Lancaster Hall advertised available beds, I paid my deposit through the travel agent which was the room fee and additional charges. To only be told by the hotel less than 20 minutes after conformation of my... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay that would not break the bank and was centrally located near transportation hubs. We found it at the Lancaster Hall Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were given a buffet breakfast each morning, with as much as you wanted to eat. They even made special arrangements... More

This is not a fancy hotel and you are not paying fancy prices, as long as you remember that you will be happy at The Lancaster Hall Hotel. Very well located for the Paddington, Lancaster Gate, Kensington Gardens area. The staff were excellent, as was the continental breakfast, the rooms were very small, but clean, and who goes to London... More

Nice, clean reasonably priced hotel near Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate Tube. Excellent staff. Large dinning area with a wonderful breakfast that's included in room rate. Huge deep bath with lots of hot water! Hotel has lift that makes hauling luggage around easy. Hotel has locked luggage room and they're very gracious in allowing storage before/after check in/out. Nice foyer... More

I recently returned from an 8 day stay at the Lancaster Hall Hotel in London. The location of this hotel could not have been better. It is situated a short 5 minute walk from both Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate tube stop. Very easy to walk to the hotel after taking the Heathrow express. As well, the hotel is on... More

Lancaster Hall is located within 10min walk to Paddington Stations and Lancaster Gate underground. The trains were easy to understand and travel between It is a short walk to gorgeous Hyde Park We stayed in the hotel side (rather then YMCA) and found rooms to be clean and basic. Not a lot of room once bags are down on floor.... More

We stumbled upon Lancaster Hall by mistake and booked as a last resort as other budget hotels were all booked. Any reservations we might have had knowing it was run by the German YMCA were unfounded. The place is a gem and we'll certainly return next time. Lovely comfortable twin-bedded room with tv and tea making facilities and ensuite bathroom.... More
