Just returned from a weekend stay at The Levin. The location is great, just a stones throw from Harrods. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and engaging. The room was adequate. The sensor light in the hallway was a bit annoying when trying not to disturb the other half in the middle of the night. Oddly it had the most... More

Literally a stones throw from Harrods this has to be one of the better little hotels in the area. Staff excellent. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a junior suite which was impeccable. Breakfast was continental and OK. The big plus is the quality of the staff.

This hotel has excellent staff - polite, helpful and they take the initiative to try and satisfy client needs. For example, I casually mentioned that I would like to have South American coffee and then went shopping. When we returned, the lovely receptionist handed me 2 print-outs, recommending coffee shops that sell S American coffee. The rooms are a bit... More

Don't tell anyone about this hotel, it only has 14 rooms and is popular enough as it is! :). You can't beat the location, in a rather calm street in Knightsbridge, yet next to the tube and Harrods. It is quiet and on the 4th Floor we could not hear a sound from the streets. However, the best is the... More

When I chose The LEVIN to stay for 2 weeks in London , I knew I was making the RIGHT CHOICE. Not only for the perfect size and cozy BOUTIQUE HOTEL, but for the lovely quiet, safe , high level street , just two steps from very good restaurants , black cabs , underground station , Museums and best shops.... Great location - Basil is a beautiful street located in an ideal area for shopping. Outstanding staff - humble and genuinely helpful team. Beautiful rooms - we have stayed both in the classic and the deluxe rooms. while the deluxe is more specious, both are perfect. In summery - our hotel of choice in London. warmly recommended!

Thank you for the glowing review and I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We are very spoiled with our location and I am glad you found it convenient. Our elevator indeed is funky and needs special attention when in use. I am so glad that you enjoyed the breakfast and I will pass it on to the restaurant... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Levin in Early September for two nights. The Levin is a small, very well run, up-scale boutique hotel that has a low-key, elegant feel. If you have a room facing the street there is a bit of foot traffic and some pedestrian noise – especially in the morning as... More

Our initial entry to the hotel was a bit off-putting due to the somewhat rundown appearance of the lobby-reception area (after all, it is a 4 star hotel and not inexpensive). However, we were greatly relieved to find the individual rooms are first class, modern and very well appointed. Harald and staff provided much helpful information about getting around in... More

This boutique hotel is, quite simply, a gem. Its location, just down the block from Harrod's and a tube station, is unparalleled. My room was relatively spacious, the bed comfortable and, better yet, the hotel's staff is wonderful. I stayed twice at the hotel over a one week period, having gone to Paris for a few days in the middle... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
