Small hotel hidden in the back streets off Covent Garden. Rooms are modern with good facilities and great shower. Bed are very comfortable and was supplied with slippers and eye masks. Free wifi and good Tv topped the package. Probably the most memorable aspect was the decorations - large mirrors, pictures and wall handings. Very tastefully done. Remember no breakfast... More

Basic hotel, nothing fancy. but clean and quiet. Friendly staff. We had a family room on the top floor (3 flights of stairs no lift). Lots of space by London standards. Could not beat the location! Within a few minutes walk of Tube station as well as Covent Garden Market. close to a ton of great restaurants. Could grab the... More

Very nice hotel, warm welcome by reception, this hotel is in a quiet location so no problem with noise from traffic. We stayed in a ground floor room which was split level, no bath just a large shower but plenty of space in the room and it was clean. Only stayed one night, worth the money for the location and... I stayed at the fielding for two nights last week. It has the perfect location and it's beautiful! Right in front of the Royal Opera House, comfortable beds and shower/bath, excellent service. I will definitely be staying there again! During the same trip I stayed at the Strand Palace hotel and I must say i was happier with the Fielding.... More

For the money, this was a good find hotel in a nice/safe (seeming) area right around the corner from Covent Garden station and shopping. It's also literally across the street from the Royal Opera House. The courtyard area where hotel is located is peaceful and off the main street. I only stayed for one night in July 2012, but my... Dear guest, while we really appreciated your review we were disappointed you headlined us with 'average hotel' as it seemed that overall you really enjoyed your nights stay with us? We are sorry you felt the lack of face cloth let us down but have always found that guests much prefer to use their own (as they are a personal... More

I stayed at the Fielding for a week in July. This was my second visit, and I rebooked because I was happy before. A friend joined me and we discovered she would not be able to climb the stairs. The staff went to a good deal of trouble to move us to another room at the last minute. This trip... More

Great location and friendly people. The rooms are quirky that is sure. With small underground-style add on's for the bathroom and kitchen. However, when attempting to book based on the information on the website I was told that the room and price stated was indeed not available and that I needed to pay more for a larger room that I... I stayed at the Fielding Hotel twice in the past month. The hotel is located between two busy streets, but is situated in a quiet courtyard that's very beautiful and convenient. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to Big Ben, and even shorter to theaters and the British Museum. Buses are close by and the routes are easy to... More

This hotel is one of the worst hotels i ever stayed. Very small rooms with bad smell of old carpets. The price is very expensive. I made a bad choice. Will be more careful next time.

Dear guest, we are very disapponted that you were unhappy with your room as we pride ourselves on our consistently praised cleanliness. I am wondering which rooms you stayed in to form this opinion as all of our singles, doubles and twins have brand new carpet throughout? More

Excellent small hotel in the heart of Covent Garden and Theatreland. Very friendly staff. Spacious room, excellent and clean bathroom. I would highly recommend it if you are interested in a cultural trip to London. Definitely would return to it!
