TripAdvisor really helped us choose this hotel. Grace is wonderful at reception and the location was perfect for our needs. Just one thing to note regarding location right now until November 2015 - work on Covent Garden Tube station means it is exut only. We made the mistake of taking the stairs up -193 so be prepared. The great reviews... More

Wanted to stay in the covent garden area for a 2 night stay. Was guided to the fielding hotel by trip advisor. Brilliant location and lovely hotel. Tastefully decorated and stuff very welcoming. It was my daughter's birthday whilst we stayed and they gave a card chocolates and roses. A very thoughtful touch. No lift however so as we stayed... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on a break away with my mother. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of Covent Garden. We arrived early & were given a very warm welcome & could leave our bags as the room was not yet ready, we could check in from 1.pm which was fab. Our room, 24,... More

Thank you so much for such a charming and positive review and I think you have given some helpful advice for other travellers too. I'm also so glad you mentioned your 'hinge' as it gave us the chance to sort it for you as one needs certain things in life to be stable! Kind regards, Grace More

Just back from a very comfortable weekend stay at the Fielding - our first but unlikely to be our last. Despite the vibrancy of the surrounding Covent Garden area, the hotel is in a quiet location with no traffic. Typically for London, the room was a little smaller than you might find elsewhere but still very comfortable. All the staff... More

Thank you for taking the time to post this lovely review, we are so pleased you enjoyed the peace and quiet here and enjoyed sampling the many options for breakfast that are pretty much on the doorstep.......... Not being tied to a breakfast time is also something a lot of guests seem to appreciate! Kind regards, Grace More

When I go to Covent Garden for opera or ballet I think it makes best sense to stay in this boutique hotel, as it is almost directly opposite the opera house in a pedestrian lane and you can even go back to the room during intervals! The hotel is truly boutique, a conversion from a town house and there is... More

I stayed in the hotel with my husband and my parents who are in their 70's. As the hotel doesn't have a lift, I asked for them to be put on one of the lower floors. We were all put on the 1st floor which was perfect. My parents had room 10, which is a great sized room, on one... More

We had a small double room, but the size of the room did not fault the quality of our stay at all. Beautifully decorated, with an amazingly comfortable bed, really looking forward to coming here again.

This lovely, small hotel was very close to The Royal Opera House and Covent Garden. The room I stayed in was a great size for a London Hotel, with a lovely bath in the bedroom + a generous sized shower room. I would definitely stay here again. When booking we opted for room only, however the hotel doesn't serve any... More

On paper the Fielding should be a great little hotel but I can't give it the review it could deserve. The location is perfect and down a quiet street beside the mayhem of Covent Garden. The staff are lovely and really helpful. But our room (16) was really poor. It was pretty small and on a split level with the... More

We knew that there was no lift so requested a room on the first floor due to my back probs but when we arrived Grace, on the desk, organised someone to take the bag up to our room. Grace was so helpful and informative and really made us feel at home. the room was very well appointed with tea &... More
