I stayed here with friends on the 1st July. Having lived in London and worked just down the road I have walked past this place regularly but not paid much attention. It is in an excellent position right in the heart of Covent Garden but on a quiet side street. I am a total hotel snob so did not have... More

Would definitely recommend this conveniently placed friendly hotel. The staff were very helpful and the room and facilities were above our expectations. The location is fantastic for Covent Garden and central London, whether staying for theatres or sightseeing and shopping.

We stayed here recently for 1 night for a special occasion. It was easy to find just a few minutes from Covent Garden tube. We were greeted warmly by Grace who had also answered emails I had sent prior to our stay promptly and in such a friendly manner. Our room was in the basement but had plenty of natural... More

Hidden away off the main streets around Covent Garden, The Fielding Hotel offers a great central location at a reasonable price with friendly 24 hour service on reception. The room was described as a 'Double with Sitting Room' which sounds luxurious but basically meant the room included a desk. The room was well stocked, with tea, coffee and shampoo etc,... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a nice positive review but I would like to just mention that the room booked was a Double and not a Double with sitting room. All our rooms have a desk but the sitting room option definitely is an extra room so I'm sorry if there was any confusion... More

Have just come back from spending one night at this great little hotel. We had tickets for the opera at the Royal Opera House and needed a hotel close by as my dad is 81 and not up to lots of walking. Blimey we couldn't have got closer to the ROH if we tried!!! Fabulous location and a lovely room.... More

When I'm in town on business, I end up staying in the same old hotels, but found myself booking into The Fielding for a Sunday night before the storm of Monday morning. Nice double room, with a split level to it - a desk/study area and shower room downstairs from the main bedroom. Felt like an apartment as a result.... More

After much research ( and I mean hours!), I decided on this hotel. Location is always my priority and this place is perfect - Covent Garden is only a minute away and Soho or the river is an easy walk. There is also a great shopping pocket nearby - the Seven Dials. (My partner found this great for menswear.) The... More

Well located, clean, comfy, friendly staff..... What's not to like? Rooms were quiet. Wifi worked decently. Even during the booking process we were cheered by the lovely tone of the staff's communications. The stairs were narrow and steep, a potential problem for some folks. With so many theatre productions within a 10 minute walk, already we're plotting our next visit.

Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
