On paper the Fielding should be a great little hotel but I can't give it the review it could deserve. The location is perfect and down a quiet street beside the mayhem of Covent Garden. The staff are lovely and really helpful. But our room (16) was really poor. It was pretty small and on a split level with the... More

We knew that there was no lift so requested a room on the first floor due to my back probs but when we arrived Grace, on the desk, organised someone to take the bag up to our room. Grace was so helpful and informative and really made us feel at home. the room was very well appointed with tea &... More

Family stays in this hotel every time and I can understand now myself. Such a wonderful hotel on a perfect location with the nicest staff ever! Rooms are very clean, good beds and a bathroom I would like to have at home myself. Location, though in the middle of Covent Garden, is very quiet. Could sleep with the windows open,... More

Beautifully serviced and well-equipped rooms, excellent, 24/7 really helpful and friendly reception. Very good value by London standards. Perfect for short stay. No breakfast served, but surrounded by super Restaurants and early morning bars.

Delighted with my stay at the Fielding - the exterior of the building may need a coat of paint, but a pretty, warm and welcoming reception will make you forget this tiny point. How wonderful to find that everything you could want in a hotel was there - control over the heating, spare toothbrush and paste if you need it,... More

I emailed this hotel last night wanting to book a room for 3 nights in June, and they reply just now it is fully booked! However when you try the online reservation, there are rooms available, and they will happily accept your credit card details... Something is wrong here. You are warned.

What a shame you chose to publicly deal with this as our website clearly says we will email you regarding availability and we responded to your request within minutes of the booking form being submitted. We understand you were disappointed but unfortunately, even though it was months in advance, we were fully booked for those nights. We do operate a... More

My son and I stayed at this hotel overnight as we had tickets to watch a West End show. Excellent location, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of London's West End yet extremely convenient for Covent Garden and West End theatres. Very friendly, helpful staff. Room we stayed in was on the top floor so it was quiet... More

Booked this for valentines weekend due to being so close to theatre land and choice of restaurants all within walking distance. It's literally a few minutes walk from Covent Garden station and a doddle to find thanks to the 5x red telephone boxes - Situated down a pedestrianised street it's surprising quiet given its location. We arrived at around 11ish... More

We booked this room for a special treat and were not disappointed. We had the room with free standing bath (room 42) It's in the basement but it was beautiful. The decor was lovely and the bathroom! I've never seen a sink like it. Amazing shower as well as the bath. The staff were friendly, and whilst no food was... More

well placed within a stone's throw of the Royal opera house, amazingly quiet location, friendly welcome, very efficient, mostly repeat business, not for anyone who values 5-star comfort as old-fashioned and functional, decoration a little tired, but great character and charm. thoroughly recommended if you can get a booking

Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
