I treated my friend to a few days down in London to celebrate his 50th birthday. I was on a pretty tight budget and did a lot of research into hotels in London. Unfortunately a lot of hotels were way out of my price range. I then came across the Adare Hotel. The price was good and the location was... More

was made to stay in sister hotel. The furniture and decor were very old (some looked like it needed to be skipped).. Felt like my gran ma's bedroom apart from flat screen tv. The few tables available at breakfast were full and we were made to wait or share! Til one was free. Breakfast was served quickly but looked like... More

The location is perfect. A couple of blocks away from Paddington station which makes airport access quite easy. Very close to Hyde park and to a Main Street with lots of great late night middle eastern restaurants. The staff was very friendly from the front desk to the breakfast cooks and wait staff. The breakfast was a classic plentiful and... More

The location is amazing - close to Paddtington Station, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardnes and many more (Portobello Road etc) - if you fit enough, you can walk to all those places :) But the hotel? Well... Adare Hotel is more like B&B - very oldfashion, very tired, not very friendy though... I've booked via easytobook.com, so point by point what... More

We booked through Internet with a good agent, looking at pictures provided by the operator of the hotel. Let me tell you the pictures did not do justice to the overall appearance. The hotel may be old but it does not excuse mold in the bathroom, on the baseboards and around the window. The window was open when we got... More

I'm single male to stayed in single room and don't have to put as Mrs. Do have to refund of 200 pounds as to book deposit? I have been to Paddington area three times that was very good to close by the transport.

Having read a few of the reviews posted my first comment is don't expect a luxurious hotel in central London for the price you are paying at the Adare hotel! Positives: Very conveniently located with a 5 minute walk to Paddington underground/mainline stations & on a direct bus route to Oxford St. Lots of facilities e.g. Pubs, restaurants, shops 2... More
