Stayed for two nights in room 8. Bed was really comfy and very clean and fresh. Room quite small but fine for one person, two would be snug. No plug socket next to kettle which was quite annoying and no plug sockets next to bed. Bathroom was cleanish, just a few cobwebs on ceiling. However shower drain was blocked meaning... More

I recently stayed at the hotel with my partner and our 9 month old daughter. Before we got to the hotel we called to book and asked for a room with a bath and also a cot for our daghter, however when we arrived we were given the smallest room with no bath just a shower, and also had to... More

Problem at Leigh House Hotel, was being CHARGED TWICE for your accommodation. I used visa debit card which was pre-authorised for my one night stay of £50. Paid £50 cash on arrival & I am still waiting, 5 WEEKS LATER for return of £50, which Leigh House had taken from my bank account. Many calls later to Hotel and NO... More

Leigh house hotel is simple to find, good location, minutes away from Russell Square underground station. Rooms were a bit cramped, but suitable for our 2 night stay. The bed was so comfy, we both slept extremely well. Shower was tiny - i resulted in banging my elbow multiple times. At first, water takes ages to be hot enough to... More

This is a very basic hotel no amenities but it's enough if all you are after is a place to sleep. We stayed for 2 nights on a sightseeing trip to London. Location is good for Euston and getting the tube around London. Room was clean and warm bed was comfy tea and coffee provided nice power shower also clean... More

I booked this hotel for my parents and they said it was perfect location to stay during a tourist trip to London. They enjoyed the breakfast and said the staffs were friendly/ helpful. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could need. They were on the small size but considering the cheap price I really don’t... More

Okay, room was small, but not too small; the facilities were nonexistent, but I didn't need any; and it was a ground floor room overlooking a London street. BUT all I wanted was a bed, and it was a double and very comfy; it was very clean, and everything worked; the biscuits were good. Most of all, I paid a... More

I needed a room for the night in London on very short notice, and booked this hotel while I was coming down on the train. It was convenient for Euston station, there is a 24 hour reception, and the room was comfortable, spotless and very quiet as I was on the third floor. Coffee and biscuits and a hot shower... More

Booked a double room totally impromptu. Few hours till our arrival. The corridors and 'reception' didn't look good. I thought it's going to be a really poor place but even though the room was small it was nice and cosy. Nice interior. Very comfy bed. I was surprised there were no sockets above the table where kettle was on though... More

On reading the reviews I feared the worst. We booked at fairly short notice and availability in this area was severely limited, so choice was non existent. First of all don't be fooled by the address. The front entrance is not in Leigh Street but in Marchmont Street. Misleading. Good points about this hotel were the proximity to Euston and... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
