Booked 25-27th July 2015. Pulled the window curtain back to find the window looking out onto a concrete wall and a door which was the hotel kitchen. So early 6.30am each morning the staff are preparing breakfast, cleaning, filling buckets talking and generally doing there job, oblivious to people sleeping outside their door. VERY NOISY!! VERY STUFFY!! We never ate... More

We were also greeted with a Poo in the toilet so clearly had not been cleaned. They then offered a room in another hotel down the street away from... More

Very small hotel with very small rooms. No elevator and very narrow stairs. It's noisy and staff are not helpful. My bathroom ran out hot water on October one day and the staff couldn't do anything until the next day and. Wifi is so bad.

Perfectly sited for euston and kings cross st pancras if ok with 7-10 minute walk. Ideal for Bloomsbury shops bars and restaurants. Have stayed here twice now and pleased with courtesy of staff as well as room service. Feels safe. Would return

Room was not cleaned, found bugs. The breakfast was good enough, but serverd only until 9.30 AM. The hotel needs to be renovated and the location is a bit off. It still is not cheap, maybe to London prices, and we expected more.

Though the hotel room is slightly smaller, it is clean and well decorated. The front desk staffs were very helpful and cheery. The location was very good as it is a short walk away from King's Cross and Russell Square. The British Museum (one of my favourite museum) is 15 mins walk away from the hotel.

The Leigh House has become one of my go to hotels while staying in London. I first stayed when they had just renovated about 4 -5 years ago and at the time if felt like a small boutique hotel. I just stayed again for a couple of nights and it still is one of the better priced hotels to stay... More

triple basement room over easter - very cramped and in need of a severe makeover. Breakfast was nice though, lots of noise from tube underneath property in basement. not recommended for elderly or those who struggle with stairs.

Was looking for a cheap(ish) place to stop for one night after a business trip to Oslo. This was ideal. My flight back was heavily delayed but even though I arrived at 01:30 in the morning, they were open and very helpful. The added bonus was tea and coffee in the room. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Stayed for two nights in room 8. Bed was really comfy and very clean and fresh. Room quite small but fine for one person, two would be snug. No plug socket next to kettle which was quite annoying and no plug sockets next to bed. Bathroom was cleanish, just a few cobwebs on ceiling. However shower drain was blocked meaning... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
