I signed up to trip advisor especially to warn people away from this place. Short version - Air conditioning broken, none of the technology worked and the staff don't care. Lengthy version - We stayed for one night as we were in town for a wedding. Upon arrival we were promptly checked in and assigned someone to help us to... More

I have stayed at this property twice, once two years ago and now in May. The hotel is very nicely appointed and is kept up very well. I think the rooms are quite nice and of a very good quality. The area is quite residential so it will take a few minute walk to get to Starbucks or to get... More

had a single night stay at the Eccleston Square hotel earlier this week. The gadget-laden room made the stay a lot of fun, but overall it was the excellent service from the hotel staff that stands out, especially Marinela and Kristina on the reception.

Saw previous comments about the room sizes been an issue but from the hotel website it is clear about detailing the sizes so wouldn't have an issue with them. Overriding feeling about this hotel is that is could be so much more but it lacks warmth or any real engagement. Things are very clinical and black or white (literally) and... More

This is a great addition to the hotels in the area. Pimlico has a lot of tatty B&Bs that just serve the purpose of giving you a warm bed and some hot water (and some don't even do that). We live on the outskirts of London but we stayed here for a birthday weekend (1 night, Saturday), and to be... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
