Nicely decorated entrance but the room is TINY. Barely enough room to walk around the bed. We paid £180 and we had a small balcony- all mod cons but not the easiest to navigate even trying to put the TV on. Really would advise you to ask the rooms square footage before booking !

The Eccleston Square Hotel was a great find in London! The staff is very cordial, and the rooms are well decorated and comfortable. It is very well located (Pimlico, near Chelsea), with cutting edge technology, and a reasonable price. The only downside is the size of the rooms and the bathrooms (the shower stall is very very small). However I... More

Loved, loved, loved every minute of our stay at this superbly located hotel. We stayed a total of five nights here (on two legs) and had requested for a balcony room, which the staff really went out of their way to arrange. On our first leg we were assigned Room 103, which was fabulous - the staff very thoughtfully laid... More

My mum and I recently stayed for one night for a weekend away in London. Upon arrival to the hotel, we were greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist ... Although check in was very smooth sailing, a bit more information would have been great eg what facilities the hotel had, where breakfast would be served etc.. Our room was just... More

This is a high end hotel with high end technology. Each room is setup with iPads and touch sensitive lighting and curtains. The technology may not be suitable for families with children. However, couples or business travelers could not do better than this hotel. I was stay here again whenever I am in London.

Dear Brad 428, We're glad that you enjoyed our technological amenities and you are correct in thinking that these amenities are more suitable for couples, solo/ business travellers. This is how we set ourselves apart from other hotels and we thank you for pointing this out! Kind regards, James Byrne More

Great boutique hotel, with a great location. Just steps from Victoria Station, but you'd never know it. Residential type area, with access to your own private park across the street, but still convenient to sites and restaurants. Glamorous, modern interiors, with every convenience and wonderfully helpful staff.

Booked a night as an 18th birthday present for my son and his girlfriend. The room had a large 3D TV and TV built into the mirror in the bathroom. There was an IPad in the room also. The room felt luxurious and the bed was comfy. Good cooked breakfast. They both said they would stay again.

Nice and cute hotel in a small townhouse in Ecclestone square - perfect location, calm but still quite central. A lot of technology in the room, iPad, dedicated panels for light, aircon, stores, etc so any geek will like it. More problematic is the size of the rooms - now, i'm used to the fact that rooms in London are... More

This is an elegant hotel in a lovely green square. On checking in, there was confusion as my name was recorded as Janes Bajnann (booked over the phone with a charming foreign gentleman). This was somewhat amusing, but the manager insisted on me producing my reference number despite having my address and me suggesting my name was misspelt. no flicker... More

The hotel itself was very nice. A short walk from Victoria tube, so the location was excellent. We stayed in a Signature King room, with a balcony overlooking the square. The room was well appointed, but very small. The whole building was clean and quiet, and the staff polite. I ordered an iron and ironing board from housekeeping, which didn't... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
