We chose the Eccleston Square Hotel for its location, 25 Minutes Walk To House of Parliament and Victoria as a travel hub. Victoria Tube and Train Station is about 5 minutes and the Coach locations about 2 minutes. The hotel is a boutique modern style, with the most technology in a room ever seen, takes a little working out but... More

We stayed at Eccleston Square Hotel for 2 nights and we absolutely loved it. Everything from the tasteful decor to the awesome Hästens beds with massage function who were badly needed after a long day of shopping. We've previously been to a couple of boutique hotels in London and this is by far the best. The technology was a really... More

I recently stayed at the hotel with my cousin, we planned a girly night in and the hotel did not disappoint. We were welcomed firstly by the amazing fragrance that fills the air as you walk through the door and secondly by the friendly and attentive staff at reception. Once checked in and shown around our high-tech room, we switched... More

Stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for 3 nights. Arrived and was met by lovely staff who greeted us, of which were very pleasant and accommodating. The room was fantastic. It was very modern and full of interesting technology. Great value for money and a fantastic location within the main area of london, also within a 10 minute walk... More

A luxurious stay -- about a 10 minute walk from Victoria Station -- in Pimlico. Great base for checking out the City. The rooms are controlled by fancy tech gear including the bathroom glass that can be made transparent with a few clicks. Yes, it's a smaller room, but it's comfortable. And frankly, if you're spending that much time in... More

Overall a very positive experience! A last minute booking for a weekend visit to London. Basic room is quite small as others have noted and as is clearly stated on the hotel website. It was really not an issue at all ('tho I did have to dry my hair sitting on the bed as there is no desk, dressing table,... More

Hotel was booked on secret rooms so we did not know until after the booking. Reading the reviews I knew hotel had positive feel about it but worried about the comments on how small the rooms were as I cannot sleep in small closed rooms. I emailed the hotel and they were very helpful and room was not as small... More

I chose this hotel for its membership in Design hotels group. Location is pretty good, near shops and subway. Our room has been quiet, with high - tech technology, comfortable and small. The bathroom was equipped with L'Occitane cosmetics products, which was great. Shower was very narrow. The beds was really comfortable, we slept very well. One of advantages is... More

Nicely decorated entrance but the room is TINY. Barely enough room to walk around the bed. We paid £180 and we had a small balcony- all mod cons but not the easiest to navigate even trying to put the TV on. Really would advise you to ask the rooms square footage before booking !

The Eccleston Square Hotel was a great find in London! The staff is very cordial, and the rooms are well decorated and comfortable. It is very well located (Pimlico, near Chelsea), with cutting edge technology, and a reasonable price. The only downside is the size of the rooms and the bathrooms (the shower stall is very very small). However I... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
