Great for my husband 13 yr old daughter and I. A room with 2 firm but comfortable double beds. Great shower and toiletries with bathrobes and slippers provided. Staff reasonable. We didn't spend much time in hotel. Well situated for covent garden oxford st both either a 10 to 15 min walk or short tube ride.

Last stayed at this Hilton 4 yrs ago and said I would never come back! At that time poor service, bar staff more interested in chatting with each other than serving, no help getting a taxi and the breakfast was in the basement when anyone could be bother to seat us. This time friendly service as soon as we arrived... More

Excellent customer service with a particularly warm welcome from Augustin and Sally on the reception desk. Very friendly and helpful service and staff could not do enough for us. Great city centre location with the National Gallery and the Rembrandt exhibition on our doorstep - the reason for our trip to London. Breakfast was good although the lighting could be... More

We initially chose this hotel as we were going to Ronnie Scott's and Rules and it is in walking distance from each. We were glad we made the choice as we had excellent service and a good sized room which was quiet and comfortable. My only gripe was the buffet breakfast - more that I don't like buffets than the... We stayed here for a night in the week before Christmas when we took our children to see the lights in London and do some shopping. The hotel was located perfectly - walking distance to Covent Garden, Green Park and Regents Street, and we even had a lovely view of Trafalgar Square from our room. The only strange thing was... The Trafalgar manages to blend London chic with fantastic service, great food and an unbeatable location. You can almost spit on the Lions in Trafalgar Square from the front door of the hotel. London is a big city and that comes with all the night time noises you expect to hear in an urban jungle - police car sirens, reversing... More

Perfect location, right on Trafalgar Square. We stayed for one night after Xmas, as we had booked to see a musical. Didn't see any 'Hilton' branding which surprised me. Room was ok, apparently we were upgraded although I couldn't see the difference. Breakfast was strange, it was totally self-service, even getting your own tea/coffee and cutlery! When you spend that... More

Popped in for celebratory drinks. Beautiful bar setting, attentive and friendly staff. We were served by the efficient Alesha and Fernando. Fabulous, but expensive, cocktails all beautifully presented. Complimentary popcorn us a nice touch. Wine list not that extensive but so e great merlot's. Top place for a luxury treat.

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
