Excellent location for seeing the theater district and Trafalgar. Nice room space for London and good bar and restaurant on main floor that is open late. Windows are non-functioning for some reason but well insulated from exterior sound.

I would rate this hotel as one of the top boutique hotels in London. As a Hilton brand hotel it is great that I can stay at a top brand hotel but still have a boutique experience. The location is great for visitors and business. I was able to easily get to my business meetings and train stations but still... More

Positives: Friendly and effective reception staff. Spacious, clean, well-equipped room with good wi-fi. Good mattress and pillows. Negatives: My ac did not work (at all). Noisy. Easy to be disturbed by noises from neighbouring rooms and also from the backyard (noisy garbage collection early in the morning) Understaffed at breakfast time? At least they were very slow about cleaning tables.... More

The invoices were not ready when we checked out, and the printer was broken... Therefore we were not able to get our invoices. After waiting half an our for the printer to work, we left without an invoice and they did not even propose to send it by email.

Staff will undertake special requests. The location for art, music and theatre -- and the underground lines -- couldn't be better. The rooftop bar is unique, but obviously it would not be open year round; if you want to see the sights from the rooftop, be sure to go in the off hours -- it is often full in the... More

We were on transit, so decided to stay in the hotel with a good location- the trafalgar perfectly fits this criteria, just 1 min from the Tube station, but here you realize, that you don't see any signs, helping you to find Hilton. Finally you see the Trafalgar Hotel and understand that you arrived. Staff is helpful and friendly, but... More

I booked this hotel as it has a great location on Trafalgar Square and the hotel itself is very well appointed. However the breakfast was a self service one where you even had to make your own tea and toast. There was no cooked option only a pre-made roll under a hot light that was too dry to eat.

Had problems with 2 rooms, but hotel personnel quickly resolved. 1st room on 1st floor on the street was too loud; 2nd room had AC problem. Otherwise rooms very comfortable. Excellent location. Would stay here again.

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
