I just spent a night at this hostel, and it was a great surprise... Of course I had read the reviews before I even booked, but still it was a good surprise. The place is located across the street from the British Library, and the Renaissance St. Pancras, and barely 2/3 minutes walk from the tube (which serves 5 lines... More

While I was not staying here, sitting in the cafe area was lovely! The staff were the friendliest people, and amazing food, had a hot dog which was delicious, my only gripe was not being able to get a room, and I can see why! Great location right across from King's cross station, lovely atmosphere and great music, 9/10 would... More

We stayed in one of the private rooms, double bed with ensuite. Very acceptable for the price paid. 3 nights here could easily equate to one night in any other London hotel! Great location for the rail, tube or buses. The full breakfast for an additional £4.95 was great value and we didn't need to eat anything until later that... More

Lovely clean hostels. Bathrooms on level three weren't the best in the world but no mould or smell and were clean great to have one in the corridor as well as one in the room. Enough electricity sockets, plenty of space in the 6 bed dorm. Nice communal areas, shame there's no self catering but the food choices and prices... More

This hostel was highly conveniently located for a social activity around Kings Cross, and with three major train stations within walking distance and a well connected subway station it's the perfect location for transport links. The staff we interacted with were friendly and polite, if a little unenthused. The place is looking a little tired, but was generally clean and... More

Stayed here for one night, as we have many many times before, but probably won't again. The rooms are OK, but the Shower rooms are awful. Everyone of them on the fifth floor had a musty, mouldy smell. The cafe/bar downstairs is nice, but could be much bigger. Staff are friendly enough and the location is brilliant.

I stayed here for one night. The location was useful as I came in to kings cross and was heading out from St. Pancras the next morning. The 6-bed dorm felt quite cramped and there wasn't much space for luggage. The bathrooms could do with improvement, the toilet in the ensuite in our room had no toilet seat so I... More

This hostel is brilliant if you are looking for a clean comfy sleep! Me and my friends couldn't believe how close it was from the train station which was amazing! The staff were friendly enough and helped us to get to places. They also do discounts on things such as shows and attractions. There is an Irish bar/pub right beside... More

I spent a month in the UK and each time I passed through London I stayed at the St. Pancras Youth Hostel. I stayed in dorm rooms with generally five other women. I found everything clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is so convenient to the St.Pancras/King's Cross train station and tube station. Bus 73 connects it... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
