Stayed at Hyde Park Gardens property with a friend.Fantastic.The charming owner allowed us privacy, prepared beautiful breakfast daily, chatted about local places of interest without taking up too much time and we felt it was an honour to stay in her beautiful home.Facilities were everything we needed, lovely bedroom with courtyard view & warm inviting bathroom. We left there feeling we have made a... more

We just returned home from 6 night stay at Countess Veronica Munster's B&B, conveniently located in South Kensington, London in a quiet "mews". The rooms were elegant and comfortable. Breakfast included home made granola (Veronica can us the recipe). Our favorite eating spot was Jacob's on Gloucester, a 10 min walk. The underground, parks and museums are close by. Veronica... more

I have stayed in many hotels and fear I have become somewhat blasé. They have all become the same! So when a friend mentioned The Bulldog Club as somewhere to look I was thrilled! I booked a stay at one of their properties in Warwickshire, as I wanted to take my husband away for a birthday treat. From the moment... more

My sister and I have stayed with Victoria four times over the last years and hope to visit again. The location of the property in fashionable South Kensington is perfect, the house and hostess charming. Veronica would have made an excellent interior designer! The room is lovely and the bathroom spacious boasting of a window and a proper shower ,... more

My partner and I have stayed here on four occasions now - and each time we have had the warmest of welcomes from Veronica. The house is a mews house - so of course it's not a mansion !! but that's what makes it delightfully warm and intimate. Nothing is too much trouble - all our wishes and needs were... more

I have stayed at the South Kensington property many times during the past 10 years and I don't agree with the negative comments made by other travellers. The Bulldog Club is an excellent alternative to London's extremely expensive hotels and the South Kensington home is cosy, elegant, tastefully furnished, extremely well located and quiet. Guest rooms and bathrooms are spacious... more

Finding our usual Picadilly hotel fully booked we needed somewhere to stay for our short culture break in London. We found The Bulldog Club website whilst browsing the internet and decided to try bed and breakfast in a private home for a change. Booking was very quick and easy with lots of good advice on a location, and the Thameside... more

Stayed at the South Kensington mews property through the Bulldog Club. I agree with the other reviewer who wrote about the constant chatter between the owner and her daughter. This happened when I stayed and kept me awake until very late at night. Surely accommodation providers know that their voices carry through their own homes, and their guests are entitled... more

I stayed at the Kensington & Chelsea property in London. (This particular property may not be available much longer.) I had pleasant interactions with the company when booking the property, and had no problems in that regard. I booked through this company because I was looking for something conveniently located at less than 100 pounds per night. B&B experiences can... more

I stayed in the Hyde Park property for three weeks in June/July of 2007. It was a wonderful experience, different from a faceless hotel. Because I was travelling solo for a long period, I decided to try booking through the Bulldog Club. The process was very satisfactory, with email back and forth to the owner of the agency. I chose... more
